Antique Roman Palace is a nice small hotel with great location, some 3 km from Alanya City centre. You can take a taxi to the city centre for just 3 Euro.
Stuff is polite and friendly, mostly not speaking fluent English, but you will always get what you need. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Beach is nearby, with plenty sun loungers and parasols, and we enjoyed the sea in Alanya - sandy beach and clean water, just across the street.
The restaurant is clean with an amazing view. The food and salads are always fresh and tasty but it's repetitive and could be more various, especially the dinner. The cakes and desserts were very delicious, loved them.
The only downside is the WiFi speed, as it was ok at the pool area but very slow connection in our room. As it is a small hotel, the activities are basic and very limited, and mostly for smaller kids.
Overall a very relaxing visit and good value for money!

The hotel is in a very good location with the beach just across the road. Good variety of food each night... the view from the terrace restaurant is just WOW. The staff are so polite and smiley, rooms are cleaned every day with a big bottle of fresh water placed in your fridge. New towels were given every other day... own safe in the bedrooms. 24-hour bar! Close to pubs, restaurants, markets and shops.
This Hotel really made us feel welcome after having the first two days of our holiday ruined at another hotel, we decided to move here. So I would like to say thank you to every one of you for all the effort that was put in throughout our stay.

The hotel is neat and clean. You have everything you need in the bathroom, just bring a toothbrush. The hotel is quite far from the center, but by taxi you can quickly get wherever you want. If you speak English, you may have communication problems, as the staff mostly speaks Russian. Our accommodation was on the first floor of the hotel and the wi fi only worked in the bathroom. We had two sockets for the whole room. The terrace is so small that it can fit 2 chairs next to each other, although we paid the standard and not the eco room. As for food, self-service was not possible due to COVID19, so we pointed our finger at the food we wanted on the plate. We waited in line for more than 5 minutes. One day we were left without deck chairs on the beach, so the next day we had to take our seats before 8 o'clock. Beer on the beach is 20 lira, the most expensive ice cream is 10 lira, while everything else is all-inclusive.

Dear İgor, Thanks a lot for taking your time and writting your review. Our hotel situated just 2,5 km from the center, even in a walking distance. The WİFİ access point was just in front of your room, and everything had to work properly, Wish we knew it before. Due to Covid-19 it was really forbidden to take food by yourself, so sometimes our guest had to wait in line, but we have tried to do our best to shorten that time. We are going to check our WİFİ network before opening our hotel, so we hope that next season we wouldn't have such issues. Hope to see you in future in our hotel again. Best Regards, Olga

We stayed all inclusive for 10 days and we found the staff were friendly and helpful. There was a good variety of food each day, and the access to the beach was great because you can get free drink and space every day. Tayfun, the entertainer, was incredible and very friendly. He welcomed us immediately and was very attentive always checking up on everyone to ensure they were happy and satisfied. He also ensured there was entertainment in the hotel each night which varied from traditional Turkish entertainment to singers to dancers. The room was cleaned daily and the hotel was very clean all the time. The location is also very close to the city centre with local buses just outside. All round excellent stay. Would really recommend. 5 star holiday.

Have just returned from my first ever solo holiday and after a ton of research, finally chose Antique Roman Palace after reading all of the reviews and wasn't disappointed with my choice. Lovely rooms that were well maintained and no issues with housekeeping, it was fun to see how artistic they were with preparing the bed, the first night was a creature wearing my glasses which genuinely made me laugh when I walked through the door. Food was good with plenty of choice, if you didn't want to eat in the main restaurant, there were food options in the 24 hour bar that were freshly prepared upon order. The hotel has two pools as well the main beach over the road, where the staff member was always smiling and attentive, as you could access drinks. Staff were friendly and nothing was too much for them. Only drawback was that there weren't too many English speaking guests, so as a solo traveller, that was a bit limiting - but it's not the hotels fault! Loved the place ❤️

Just returned from a lovely 10 day holiday in this hotel. Statues of important historic figures from history made this place unique in its appearance. Kept to a very high standard we could not fault it. Everywhere was very clean, the staff were really polite and helpful. The daily restaurant routine of breakfast, lunch and dinner was very well managed by the wonderful Izzi. Food was of a good quality and plentiful, always a main dish cooked in front of you or a selection from the pre cooked silver servers. Chips were always available for those with a less adventurous palate. The usual verity of salads , dips, cakes and fruit were always fresh and plentiful. A well stocked bar and some low very 'light' entertainment kept us amused every night. The hotel is placed right on the front of the beach with just a busy main road separating it. Although the road was busy, it was not noisy or a nuisance. In fact it was quite nice to see some life going on from our room balcony. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing holiday, then this is the place for you. The Antique Roman Palace is not a massive hotel, it does not have a sprawling footprint, there is one bar, one restaurant and a couple of medium sized pools. If you want disco dancing in the pool at 10am in the morning then try the hotel next door! The local beach is sandy with a beach bar, the water is waist high deep and warm, as is the Turkish weather! One thing to mention if you have not been to Alanya before is the transfer time from the airport, it is a two hour taxi ride away. This can be very much longer if you opt for a coach transfer that makes lots of stops. After a four + hour flight from the UK, another two hour transfer can be demanding. Other wise great hotel, we enjoyed it, nice and relaxing.

This is just a review as a heads up to anyone thinking of staying at this hotel, as a lot of the advertising and past reviews, are somewhat innaccurate as of now.
The Hotel itself is maintained very well and presents as clean and pleasant, the bars advertised x 3 is somewhat incorrect, as only the Outside bar at the end of the pool ares, was open on our stay and we were advised the second bar up on the top floor, was for occasions only. never discoved where a third bar may have even been. The two pools are great but unheated, with the sun obscured half of the day, by the hotel and adjacent proerty, which by the way, will be pumping music at high volumes during the day.
Food at the hotel is great if you like salads at all servings, but was more than sufficient and vwry tasty, but you do have to explore the self serve areas.
The best food we found, was served at the small outside kitchen by the bar, this was manned by two really helpful ladies, who served `Burgers, Pizza, (10/10) nfor both, along with other great offerings, like chicken wraps ans more.
All inclusive drinks were EffE lager, very nice and spirits that were not of a great level of quality, even for local spirits, but were great for the many cocktails.
Bedrooms are standard, but comfortable and well looked after.
The staff are very helpful and will try to please you. dont however, jump in the pools, as you will be whistled at and stared down by the Life Guard, who was relentlessly teased by many of the guests. He was however, a really nice guy.
Feel free to try the a la carte restuarant, but the food is not cooked to order, just seems like the buffet upstairs, chosen for you and served at your table.
Tha Food And Bar Manager, works really hard and is a nice man, ask him if you need anything.
I hope you find this a true and balanced review, its not really what i call a five star, as things like pool service are absent, but it was an enjoyable stay, once you accept the not so great bits and get to know the staff and service

Very nice hotel. Stuff is great, very polite. Pools are very clean. Beach is nearby. Just across the street. Food is various and tasty. Restaurant is clean and very enjoyable. Bars too. Pastane is a place where you can eat delicious cakes. A number of taxis is operational around the hotel and you can reach Alanya, city center, fortress or Red tower very easily. Or to go shopping.
I strongly recommend spending your holidays in Antique Roman Palace. 🤗🤗🤗 I will return. That’s for sure.

The compund is in a good condition, very friendly personel.
Also the food is excellent but its very traditional in contrast the offer some more european/american style foods like burgers & nuggets etc.
If you're looking for a quiet Hotel Antique Roman will be to your liking. Not too much evening entertainment with an approach more like centered on adults. They do not offer entertainment for kids.
Sportsoffers are not too great (Only Tabletennis, Yoga, sometimes Poolgames)
The only thing which is horrible is the very very bad WiFi. You only have an acceptable connection within the lobby or pool area. Though it is quite common in the Turkey that they charge you for it is free in this Hotel.
I was told they would fix it outside the season.
Summary
+Exzellent food and beverages
+Friendly personel
-evening entertainment "light"
-horrible WiFi
