After moving from another hotel, I can honestly say I had a brilliant time here. Mikey the parrot kept my kids entertained and the food was excellent. Good pool with a few slides. very lively part of alanya. would highly recommend. tbh ive booked again for next year!
We moved here from a 3* hotel as the all inclusive was bad and this hotel is far better! Lovely grounds, 2 pools and slides and close to beach. Nice food choices and drinks are decent too! Our room has sea view and hotel is clean and relaxing!
The worst holiday I have been on with my family. To start on a good note there was a receptionist who’s name was Ali Raza he was very friendly and helped us with all our enquires and made us feel welcome he was the only member who did this the other staff at reception were not friendly at all. The whole reception area was dark which made the appearance of the hotel seem gloomy. When we went to our room it was well presented. After placing our suitcases in our rooms we decided to go down for dinner which was another let down as there was not enough variety of foods to choose from. It was mainly salads and the food didn’t change massively each day. Coming back to our room which was on fourth floor we got stuck in the lift. We used the emergency phone to contact the reception with no response until we had to use our mobile phone to get in contact with the reception. This incident caused a fear in our hearts which meant for the rest of the week each day we would walk up 4 sets of stairs back and forth. We wish there was some sort of welcoming vibe. We understood that due to winter season the hotel would be quite but we didn’t know it would be this unwelcoming for those individuals who were in this hotel. My parents had to go back 1 day after they had come due to the atmosphere being so uncomfortable and gloomy which made us all feel unhappy because this was planned to be a whole family holiday but it didn’t turn out like that. To add on to all this there were 2 waiters who made us feel uncomfortable whilst eating and we noticed they would pick food from everyone’s table except ours. Only one young waiter would come to our table, we felt like the odd ones out because of the waiters attitude to us. In all honesty this hotel isn’t worth staying at it has all the qualities of having a ruined holiday. We were more happy to return back to home which shouldn’t have been the case.…
Hotel from hell!!!! When we arrived at the hotel the man at reception was very rude and when asked questions he got annoyed and angry for asking questions. The reception area was dark no lights also the hallways were very dark with no lights. We shown to our rooms, were clean daily by cleaners but loads of cockroaches on doors tables and bathroom area. Food was not good nothing special mostly same every day and most of time you had no choice but to eat same food as nothing els was there desserts was not good at all. only 1 young waiter who we tipped was polite and cleaning our plates oftenly. There was another older waiter very rude and kepted looking at our food when we were eating which made in very uncomfortable. There was manager standing at breakfast lunch and dinner but just standing watching guests no smile no interaction not even asking if everything is ok, Just watching guests and making people feel uncomfortable. I had asked bar man for milk for my tea he replied saying buy it from supermarket. We got stuck in the hotel lift as we were on 4th floor pressing the emergency alarm for 30 minutes no reply my sister in law had panic attack from being trapped we complained to reception guy rude one who works in evenings and he didnt even apologise. We kept asking for room on first floor as we were family of 8 with children, they told us it will be ready next day but when it was next day they would say the room has been taken. Overall experience in this hotel is depressing it actually ruins yours holiday especially when the staff are rude and don't care and it's like you are being watched make you feel very uncomfortable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone please avoid. Will never go back…
I have just returned from a holiday at the Hotel Kleopatra Royal Palm. Turkey with my partner, my mom and her friend, which was most disappointing. A list of our complaints: 1) Spa at Kleopatra Royal P was closed even though it says it's open. If I think of Turkey I think of famous Turkish baths and hammams which we had to seek in a different hotel. 2) Kleopatra Roayl P had it too. However, it was a health and safety hazard. Leaking ceiling, old machinery, plugs and wires in an open area. Old food on equipment and its not been cleaned for months. 3) Check-in receptionist was blunt and unhelpful. Registered us to wrong rooms, so wifi was unavailable. 4) Once unpacked we went for our first dinner at the restaurant. To our shock, we noticed that there is a huge cockroach on the plate full of chicken. I informed the chef and all he did was removed the cockroach with a massive smirk on his face. He left the same plate with the same chicken on the counter. Dinner was ruined. 5) Since dinner was ruined we left, went upstairs to our rooms and our room door was unlocked even though we double-checked before we left. Once in the room, our key card for electricity wasn't working. Neither was airconditioner in my mom's room. The reply I got was that we need to wiggle the key card a little bit. They send a maintenance guy about 11 pm 12 am to fix the key box. Moms aircon wasn' sorted. The bed covers were also curtains in the rooms. And the actual day curtains had a massive hole in it. 5) We come back from hammams and our room was unlocked. Not enough that there were about 5 men in our bedroom. Apparently, they were fixing aircon. We weren't informed about this taking place and we had all our valuables in the room. We went to the reception and the same receptionist replied that they are fixing air-con and should be done in 30mins. No apology whatsoever. The room was in a terrible state and there where no cleaners sent to our room. My bedside table was white from concrete, dirty, wet shoe marks all over the room, cigarette packets and all the residue from fixing aircon was left in the balcony. I've got videos if needed. 6) Wednesday we spotted cockroaches in both of our rooms in the kitchen draws, between the cutlery, kitchen tops, bathrooms, wardrobes and to our shock even the beds. We went to reception to complain, we have been told that they have no rooms as its fully booked!!! At last, they changed it but one room only! 3 unrelated female and 1 male adult had to stay in one room. 7) No English speakers. All tours and tour guides were in German or Russian, all information in the hotel was only in Russian and German languages too. The staff didn't bother explaining or taking time with us and were rude and blunt and totally fine with german tourists. Which made us feel very uncomfortable. 8) The hotel was sticky and dirty everywhere you looked or touched. We needed to wash the glasses before we drank anything. 9) Two days before leaving my mom and my partner had an upset stomach and were very ill.…
