The Kleopatra Royal Palm Hotel enjoys a prime location near the beach, a detail often praised by guests, though opinions on the hotel vary. While many visitors commend the general cleanliness and appreciate the daily room servicing, others have encountered maintenance issues in rooms they describe as outdated or unhygienic. The hotel's value is frequently questioned, with travelers pointing out overpriced amenities and additional charges for services like WiFi. Reviews of the hotel's atmosphere and service are polarized; some guests enjoy the poolside music and find the staff friendly, while others find the entertainment lacking and the staff unaccommodating, especially towards English-speaking guests.

My family and I stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks. The staff were really friendly and very helpful. The housekeeper kept our room clean every day, she was very friendly. The location of the hotel was great, close to the beach, restaurants, shops etc.

However there was a number of disappointments/ areas for improvement that the hotel should consider.

WiFi should be included in the price of the booking instead of having to pay to access it in your room on arrival. It is charged per person.

The all inclusive drinks should have a few more options of drinks. Plus no fanta lemon!!! That's the best part of a holiday!

The all inclusive food could be themed such as Mexican night or Turkish night. Some of the food was a bit dodgy looking!! A menu of what was being served that evening would have been good. We rarely ate in the hotel at night as it was very busy and the chefs ( if I can call them that) were preparing the food for 7pm at 4pm! However thankfully in the last few days the chips were prepared a bit later. As the chips were soggy! The times of all inclusive could been extended to 10.30 at breakfast. Also the option of chips/crisps and ice cream for the kids during the day would be an idea. The all inclusive isn't great for kids. Also more fruit such as melon and bananas at breakfast would be good as all they had was orange segments, apples and pears which were not the best quality.

Be prepared for the noise in the hotel. You can hear everything, if your a light sleeper bring something to help shut out the noise. Not sure how the hotel can over come that problem, but it was something we all noticed. Also there was no covers on any of the remote controls for TV and air conditioning. While this wasn't a big thing, it was annoying as the batteries kept falling out!!! Maybe invest in new ones or cover with tape.

There is lots of room for improvement to make this the 4 star hotel it claims to be.

Thankfully they had 5 star staff working in it!!

I really want to give this hotel the baddest most horrible review but its hard to.
If you arrive early morning be sure to be told that they have overbooked and your in a room near a smelly toilet with stained sheets and the stench of urine. They promised a room at 10am next day. This room was so in need of modernisation, it's like the 1920s.
The food was faultless, the staff especially the 2 young waitors was incredible. You have to pay for the bar outside even though it belongs to kleopatra.
Would I come back,???,,,,,?? Mmmm yes I would but a major upgrade is needed. And maybe stop saying the hotel is overbooked. We booked this 6 months ago. After spending 4 months in hospital and booking a major break don't put people in a horrible room that is not fit for my dog to sleep in

hotel was okay. we had sea view room and view was nice. our room had two balconies, living room and bedroom, fridge, tv, air conditioning ( didn't work) and electronic stove. three different pool areas with sunbeds. one with slides, they were open couple of hours per day. room was cleaned daily if wanted. staff was nice and friendly. all inclusive was okay, pretty much same foods every day. breakfast: bread, eggs, some days pancakes, soups, vegetables, cheerios. lunch: rice, potato, chicken, salads, vegetables, bread, cakes, maybe some other meat. dinner: rice, chips, chicken, other meats, vegetables, salads, bread, cakes. some days there were prepared food like nuggets and chicken steaks... sodas, tea, coffee, juice, beer, wine and some stronger alcohol were included to all inclusive. sometimes music was playing very loud at the main pool area. kleopatra beach very close, just across the street. alanya centrum about 2-2,5km. shops, atms, bars and restaurants close to hotel. hotel had 24/7 shop.

Hotel from hell!!!!
When we arrived at the hotel the man at reception was very rude and when asked questions he got annoyed and angry for asking questions.
The reception area was dark no lights also the hallways were very dark with no lights.

We shown to our rooms, were clean daily by cleaners but loads of cockroaches on doors tables and bathroom area.

Food was not good nothing special mostly same every day and most of time you had no choice but to eat same food as nothing els was there desserts was not good at all.
only 1 young waiter who we tipped was polite and cleaning our plates oftenly.
There was another older waiter very rude and kepted looking at our food when we were eating which made in very uncomfortable.
There was manager standing at breakfast lunch and dinner but just standing watching guests no smile no interaction not even asking if everything is ok,
Just watching guests and making people feel uncomfortable.
I had asked bar man for milk for my tea he replied saying buy it from supermarket.
We got stuck in the hotel lift as we were on 4th floor pressing the emergency alarm for 30 minutes no reply my sister in law had panic attack from being trapped we complained to reception guy rude one who works in evenings and he didnt even apologise.
We kept asking for room on first floor as we were family of 8 with children, they told us it will be ready next day but when it was next day they would say the room has been taken.

Overall experience in this hotel is depressing it actually ruins yours holiday especially when the staff are rude and don't care and it's like you are being watched make you feel very uncomfortable.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone please avoid. Will never go back

The worst holiday I have been on with my family. To start on a good note there was a receptionist who’s name was Ali Raza he was very friendly and helped us with all our enquires and made us feel welcome he was the only member who did this the other staff at reception were not friendly at all. The whole reception area was dark which made the appearance of the hotel seem gloomy. When we went to our room it was well presented. After placing our suitcases in our rooms we decided to go down for dinner which was another let down as there was not enough variety of foods to choose from. It was mainly salads and the food didn’t change massively each day. Coming back to our room which was on fourth floor we got stuck in the lift. We used the emergency phone to contact the reception with no response until we had to use our mobile phone to get in contact with the reception. This incident caused a fear in our hearts which meant for the rest of the week each day we would walk up 4 sets of stairs back and forth. We wish there was some sort of welcoming vibe. We understood that due to winter season the hotel would be quite but we didn’t know it would be this unwelcoming for those individuals who were in this hotel. My parents had to go back 1 day after they had come due to the atmosphere being so uncomfortable and gloomy which made us all feel unhappy because this was planned to be a whole family holiday but it didn’t turn out like that. To add on to all this there were 2 waiters who made us feel uncomfortable whilst eating and we noticed they would pick food from everyone’s table except ours. Only one young waiter would come to our table, we felt like the odd ones out because of the waiters attitude to us. In all honesty this hotel isn’t worth staying at it has all the qualities of having a ruined holiday. We were more happy to return back to home which shouldn’t have been the case.

Stayed here with family.
Booked 2 rooms placed in completely seperate parts of the building even though I'd requested rooms close by or next door as my children have learning disabilities.
One room was cleaned and bed made daily, other was never touched the whole 10 days.
The food was the same everyday and absolutely awful, myself and 2 of my children had very upset tummy. Had to eat out if we wanted to actually be able to have something that was edible.
Had the weather not been so nice we would have just moved as it would of been totally ruined, there was no entertainment.
The staff at reception were some of the rudest people I've ever some across. Floor around pool areas never cleaned, flys everywhere.
To top if off a cleaner stole my sons brand new phone that was on charge in one of our rooms, when I addressed this I was told 'it's impossible' to which I said cctv needed to be checked and I'd be back....no more than 20 minutes later his phone arrived at reception.....
Lots of room for improvement, food cleanliness and staff training for customer service needs to be a priority. I wouldn't return if they paid me to.
I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

This all-inclusive hotel is highly recommended, beautiful views from various rooms and very friendly staff. The hotel is a minute's walk from the beautiful beach of Alanya and a short walk from the city.

While the food is not very varied, it is very tasty. Would you rather eat something else? No problem, for around 40 TL you are within 5 minutes in the center of Alanya or you can at the front of the Sunset restaurant food in the friendliest hosts Cino and Cihan.

For young people who like to go out, there is also plenty to do. Ask at the bar next to the pool or to Hasim Mehmet and they will take you to the best nightclubs in the area!

People who complain about this hotel have no better things to do.

Again, highly recommended, because with my family, we had a top holiday!

The worst hotel we have ever stayed in! Should not be a 4 star! We stayed at the hotel for 10 night as a family of 6. We arrived home yesterday and I have honestly never been more relieved for a holiday to end! The reception staff are extremely rude and dismissive. The hotel itself is very dated and dirty and smells like the sewers. The floor at the outdoor eating area is absolutely filthy and was not cleaned once whilst we were there. It was covered ant and swarming with flies. There was also cockroaches in the lobby area! The all inclusive food was extremely bland, repetitive and boring. I’ve never ate so much cous cous/pasta with chicken on the bone (mostly bone) or stale chicken nuggets in my life, although every now and then there was fish (be prepared to spit out bones at every bite) The staff from the hotel spa were constantly pestering you to have a massage as well as constantly being pestered to pay to go on excursions. And please beware there is no kids club! And no animation team! There is entertainment twice a week! And I use that term lightly! It is such a boring place for families with children!

The cleaner that was assigned to the part of the hotel that we were situated did a fabulous job, she cleaned to a brilliant standard every day and there was fresh bedding and towels every single day (although family that stayed in another part of the hotel had a very different experience and their room was rarely cleaned and the bedding and towels rarely changed) All in all the biggest positive experience from my stay at this hotel was the day we left!

Arrived at this hotel, made out the expectations were good on the first day, however on arrival the bed was a sofa turned in to a bed with what I would call caravan seats, asked this to be changed they refused and said to come back tomorrow to be fobbed off all week about it. Ended up sleeping 4 in two single beds because they wouldn’t chance room or give us mattresses. Even tho we had paid 3500 for ten nights! We had a kitchenette that has one spoon and one frying pan but nothing to cook on, no kettle it was a Disgrace!! Very out dated and dirty looking. Fridge was minging, we had to clean it before we would bottles of water in it. Food was buffet style and could help yourself however that’s if you like the same thing every day- pasta and sauce, tomatoes on everything. Pizza made with spinach from the day before a left overs. No ice cream at all. All puddings were the same each day and covered in grease. Had to buy ice cream the whole holiday, all inclusive finished bang on 11. Which to my discuses again on serve regular coke lemo and orange aid and raki, whisky, vodka red or white wine which was like poison. Anything else you have to pay for.
Entertainment was on a Sunday and Thursday and lasted for ten minuites. Nothing for kids to do and was at 8 o’clock whilst people were still eating!!
We met another couple that a cleaner had taken their child’s mobile phone and charger. And returned saying they through they left it although all there belongings were still in the room. Men staff are friendly. Women don’t speak to you. Very abrupt and arrogant
No Wi-Fi only in the lounge and if you want it in the bedroom you have to pay 2 euro each day for each person.
Easily can get a sun lounger around the middle pool not enough umbrellas. Slide pool is dirty! Pool very cold.
Spa and mud bath you have to pay for, and they are quite forceful especially to the younger people 😡
I would never return here and everyone who we met on this holiday have said the same, even the owners of restaurants down the road are aware of how disgusting the food is.
I wouldn’t give it 4* more like a 2* !
Poorly managed as well, and will not help you with anything- bar man very arrogant he believes women should not be out spoken and he likes to speak down to you!!

I know this is a little late, but in case somebody needs this. When we stayed - no activities. You could go to Alanya city centre it's pretty near. Can go by taxi or public bus.
