I have nothing but good things to say about the hotel. I vacationed with children (8 and 14 years old) from May 31 to June 13. We arrived early in the morning, we were immediately sent to breakfast, then they offered to pay extra for the room if we wanted to check in before 2 p.m. We did just that ($20), choosing from several proposed rooms facing the street. Everything works in the room, clean, comfortable with a balcony. One of the minuses is a paid safe. We didn’t use Wi-Fi: the conditions were better with the cellular operator. The room is quiet, because... the street is not a busy one. The food is excellent, there is always something to choose from. We don't usually pick and choose. There are no baked goods, but there are cakes and halva. Fruits include apples, pears, oranges, cherries, plums. More than 3 stars. I recommend. The biggest plus is the location. Everything is close. 7 minutes to the beach, all attractions and shops nearby. We didn’t go to the hotel beach because of the slab at the entrance to the sea, which was very slippery. We settled down closer to the mountain on towels and bought an umbrella. The water is clean in the morning, but around 4 p.m. garbage often appears. We were very pleased with our vacation.

Hotel Wasa consists of two buildings A and B, the last block is not mentioned on the travel provider we used. Hotel is right in the center, that's the good thing about Wasa hotel and the only positive thing.
There is no free WIFI in common areas, even if this is stated in the description,
The staff in the front are not special in meeting you, you are scolded if you complain about their poor service.

In general, there was dirt and grime everywhere in both blocks, both in the rooms, restaurant and common areas, our room was cleaned the first week, got clean towels etc. and the week after we got a clean towel and emptied bucket, the last week was nothing done.
pool missing more Stone at the bottom and cleaning it. We experienced that it was cleaned once in the three weeks we were there because we asked for it.

The food was boring and of the same shape, it seemed as if the hotel could not afford to have its guests on all inclusive. So maybe they should stop with that and only have some decent breakfast food to offer.

The staff was not smiling or when you met you never saw a smile on their lips.

All pictures and descriptions of the hotel do not match, the picture shows chefs serving food, and the description says that lunch and dinner are served a la carte, but all inclusive is served.

There is no free WIFI in the common areas as described

The elevator in block b did not work optimally, it could not stop on the 3rd floor, and it was not made even though it was known about it.
if you draw attention to the fact that something was broken or not working, it was not done, they were just as happy.

We had a room with a room next to it, but there was only one door in between that had a lock, it was like being in the other room, you felt that they were inside our room. The man in the other room snored so loudly that he kept me awake for several hours at night, we complained about it but the hotel was just happy as long as they got their money.

In general, the hotel did not care about their guests.

I will not recommend Wasa hotel to anyone until Wasa has figured out what it takes to run a hotel.
Maybe the idea is to hire real cooks and not people who come from villages who can't cook. (even though people from villages usually cook good food) and some decent staff who can talk to everyone.

You have to remember that it is pictures and description that will sell their product Wasa hotel, so the more truths about description and pictures, the more reviews and happy guests you ask.

We rested together with my husband from February 27 to March 5, 2024, the hotel is well located, close to the central Ataturk street, cable car, shopping centers. CONS: bad staff, asked for $10 per room, don’t speak Russian, poor breakfast, terrible sausage, rubber tomatoes, towels and bed were not changed, paid wi-fi: 4 $ for 3 days. An employee at the reception in a white shirt asks for money for a room, for the Internet, although there were many free rooms
We will not go to this hotel again and we do not recommend it to you!

I was very afraid to go to the hotel after reading the reviews. But the hotel made a completely different impression on me. Previously, I vacationed nearby in Touch Premier 4 and Hedev Cleopatra 3.
The holiday was wonderful. Everywhere was clean, perfect, everything was literally licked clean. All the employees were polite, the bartender tried to get to know my friend, but after the refusal he was not offended. The waiters always watched the table, constantly removed the ashtray and dirty dishes, and brought drinks. Thank them very much.
A girl came to check-in with us, had a little row and without any problems they changed her room to the one she wanted, and the man at the reception was very polite to her and even carried her underwear to the laundry on the next street. (this is a question about the attitude of the staff, which I was afraid of).
We had a room overlooking the pool, everything was quiet at night, maybe it was not the season yet...
The room has good quality, serviceable furniture, a good mattress, linen, light, quiet, a spacious shower, the doors close well.
The food is delicious, for me there is a huge choice, we only went to lunch twice, as we were walking all the time, went to Side, to the Tazy Canyon, sledding along the mountain, and in general had an active holiday.
The sea at the beginning of April was 19 degrees, we swam, perfectly clean as always, there was a beautiful sandy sunset closer to the mountain.

I would like to replace the fact that our entire vacation the hotel director sat at the bar 😀, perhaps that’s why everything was so perfect.
I definitely recommend the hotel, best location, clean and tasty.

I went on vacation alone twice.
The hotel has a very convenient location - the city center. I like to wander around the city, do shopping, there are many shops and shopping centers.
I trust the hotel, because... always fresh bedding and towels, the room was cleaned every other day, not sterile cleanliness of course, but there was no dirt. The food is delicious, although there is not a huge variety, there is always meat/fish. I won’t say that I’m a gourmet, but I’ve never been hungry. In April 2023, it was Eid al-Adha, and treats were put out for guests by the pool (various oriental sweets, fruits, pies, puddings). One of the minuses is paid Internet, but I negotiated with the reception employee, for money they gave me local Internet (which is for hotel employees) without traffic and time restrictions.
The hotel area is small, there is no animation, but I don’t need it. The contingent was mostly Europeans, no one was yelling drunk under the windows, local citizen-employees did not interfere with their souls and numbers - everything was civilized and calm.
The massage therapist works there named Ilkar, he kneads so hard that the bones fall into place. For a 60 minute session it’s something like 20USD.
In general, I will recommend the hotel and will probably come back more than once.

It is a 3 star hotel so bear that in mind. Our room was clean however, there was a very large crack in the bathroom mirror and the fridge was moldy and smelled. House keeping came every day but only brushed/mopped floors, no fresh towels or bedding (I stayed for a week) . The shower drain was blocked so had to be careful taking showers. The food is not labeled of what it is and was repeated all week. Rice and chicken every day and for some strange reason sprouts, cauliflower, hotdog sausage and chips were served at breakfast, (the night before's dinners leftovers it seemed). We also had to pay extra on arrival for wifi it was 10 euros fro 7 days!

I was in this hotel with my friend. We were there for eleven nights, twelve days. As for the hotel, I have to say the food is terrible especially breakfast is not eatable, and lunch and dinner are the same for every day mostly some salads and chicken every day. Rooms and hotel are mostly clean except for sheets and especialy they didnt changed towels. Hotel bar is opened just until ten and swimming pool until 18h, in bar you can get only one drink by one person and staff are not professional. Recepcionist are very rude and not frendly at all and he truy to take money from us alegendly to give us better room but it was scam. Hotel beach is average, sunbeds and umbrellas are old and the biggest problem is entrance to sea is very difficult because there are a lot of slippery rock and big waves, it is very dangerous you can get hurt very easy. I do not recomend this hotel if you want to have good holiday. Alanya is nice place but for me it’s not even close to the Greece, i will not came here again.

A very good hotel for this price!
Relaxed here for nine days in late August.

The location is ideal, all the important sites of the city are within 5 minutes walk, so throughout the vacation used transport only once and that to go to Conakly.
The staff is polite, the maid is a very nice aunt, speaks English. We lived in B-Block, the building is new, nice. There were no staff at the reception, but we didn't need them for the rest of the day, we approached the staff in Building A for all questions.
The room itself has new furniture, new mattresses, good interior. We didn't really care where to live in the first place because we were only in the room at night. The downside was a broken faucet (but it was fixed for 2 days and we didn't even complain to anyone, they found it and fixed it themselves) and a poorly functioning refrigerator, but again for us it's not critical. Everything else worked well.
Feed appropriately for 3* hotel, personally I enjoyed throughout the rest, but should not expect Michelin dishes.
Internet paid

Before us there were brazen tourists who talked rudely to the staff and were naturally not greeted with a smile, so let's be honest, I wouldn't have been able to talk politely to them either. It's about people writing very angry reviews that are often not true. It seemed to us that the staff on the contrary was always only in favour of helping us and giving us something. There's a man who speaks Russian. Treat people with understanding and respect and you'll get it back. It was because of the bad reviews of staff and food that we were afraid to come here. But what do you expect from a 3* hotel with an ideal location? In my opinion, the value for money/quality ratio is justified.

I'd love to go back to this hotel one more time.

A twin room was booked, we arrived to be told they had no rooms but if we were good to Gayon, who booked us in, they would find us a nice room. This involved us being forced to pay £25 for the room we had already paid for and £25 for Wi-Fi that did not work, a safe that had no lock so a further safe was brought. This safe was obviously very easy to steal as it was not secured to anything. And after 2 days someone came in and removed it from our room.
The room we were given was not in the hotel but on the main road a few minutes walk away from the truly awful facilities.
The only alcohol in the all inclusive is local white or red wine, both are awful, sprite, coke or Fanta and one beer. That is it. Everything else is charged separately. No cocktails or spirits for anybody.
The food was disgusting, no fruit juice at breakfast and you have to pay extra for orange juice.
It says it is a 3 star hotel. I honestly wouldn’t give it 1.
We were threatened that we MUST attend a welcoming meeting, when we did catch up with the rep he was furious and said he wouldn’t help us with anything as we hadn’t attended at the start of the holiday and selling us stuff is how he makes his money.
When we were leaving we saw a young couple arrive, their luggage had been lost at the airport, it was 2am and they were devastated. Yet the male receptionist was trying to force them into paying for a “nicer room” . (Yes we did speak to him quietly and let him know so he didn’t pay extra)
So…
The staff are awful, far too familiar with females.
The reception staff we saw were all making people feel they had to pay extra for a room they had already paid for. We saw 4 rooms and all were exactly the same, dull, dark, lights not working, cracked tiles. Showers that do not work and a telephone that the reception staff never answered.
Do not stay at this hotel.
Alanya is beautiful, the local restaurants are cheap and staff on nearly all occasions very helpful and polite,
The wrist band does give you access to the beach chairs and parasols but you do have to pay for all drinks. Nothing here is all inclusive.

The pool is tiny, people from the street can walk past and stare at you, there are maybe 8 loungers to lay on. It was always in the shade, I don’t know how they managed to take photos of it looking sunny.

Pros: excellent location (close to everything: Cleopatra beach, funicular, archaeological museum, street with shops (mavi, mudo, jimmy key, uspa, Waikiki; McD and Starbucks). Near Migros and the water park. Rooms in building B are much better, recently renovated , quiet, if you have a view of the courtyard. Free unlimited coffee. Cleaning every day. The staff is good, we had no problems with them. The hotel has its own beach (but there is no stove 100 meters away, there is clear water). , we sunbathed on sunbeds, and went there to swim). There were plenty of sunbeds (some of them, however, were broken).

Cons: Wall-to-wall food lines for lunch and dinner. There is not much hot food (5-6 items), and there is a queue of 30 people behind it. At first it was very annoying, but we realized that it was better to arrive an hour later from the beginning, then there would be no queue. If there is not enough hot food, they quickly bring more. At lunchtime, many people just sit at tables and smoke, because of this there is nowhere to sit, you have to wait until someone eats and leaves. The food itself is not that bad and not that very tasty, but you can always find something to eat. They can give the same thing two days in a row or for lunch and dinner. They never gave me watermelons in a week! I had melon a couple of times, but it was completely tasteless. There are dirty plates and mugs. Lots of flies! There are extensions: go shopping with us, go to the hammam, etc. When we checked out, they didn’t even ask how we enjoyed our holiday, what we liked, they just took the keys and that’s it. By the way, the room key is literally a key, not a card)) And the lobby looks kind of sad, you can’t take a photo or brag :)

There are a lot of foreigners in the hotel: mostly Slovaks and Germans. With neighbors and with the number, depending on your luck. Overall a normal hotel, excellent value for money at current prices.
