Melissa is know for it's friendly staff. We paid litte extra and got a bigger room towards the pool and with a nice sea view. This is an all inclusive hotel and even though the hygiene seemed to be good, I got sick and had to stay three days in the hotel room.

The hotel was ok, room was basic but clean. Cleaners carried out basics in rooms, and were generally friendly. Air con worked well, and was needed on a couple of occasions. Staff were pleasant, chefs were not so, in fact some of them were quite miserable, possibly reflected in the terrible food they served. Hotel had fair selection of salads but kept out too long in heat for my liking. Hotel looks onto beach and has beach bar, Resort was quite nice, no night-life unless you went into the city. Plenty of water sports and tandem paragliding. Pity about the food being so bad, having to eat out meant that the 'all inclusive' part got more expensive.
All in all, hotel not bad, would I go back - no, Resort quiet, would I go back - no, Value for money - fair. There were no english holiday-makers in hotel which made it bit frustrating.

The hotel is quite cheap, therefore you cannot expect any luxury.
Rooms: The hotel is very simply furnished, but clean. A part of the hotel is refurbished with very nice rooms a part is not. Location: very close to the beach but you have to take a bus to get to the city center or have a half an hour walk. However, there are plenty of shops close to the hotel. Rooms are cleaned every day.
Food: Simple but tasty, lots of veg, rice and noodles. Meat only in small portions.
Staff: Friendly, speak basic English.
Sea: Beautiful sea, where you can even observe turtles! However, the water is very deep right from the start and the waves are sometimes very strong - not very suitable for small children.
Pool: Quite small but with very clean water.

GENERAL: A simple but good hotel for a reasonable price. Suitable for people who look for nice holiday for a good price.

Pros - The hotel is clean and for the most part acceptable. There were some unmet expectations but for the most part, our travel agency was to blame for it. The staff was nice overall.

Cons - The wifi ... just horrible. You have to pay 2 euros per device and will still drop every 5 minutes. DO NOT come here if you need a steady wifi for work. The food is plenty but, quite bad the few exceptions are usually taken within minutes and not restocked. Advisable for hunger games fans. The gym ... what gym? There is a bar (One love reggae bar) next to the hotel and they will play loud music through the night. The beach isn't the cleanest either, both water and sand.

This hasn't been the worst experience but still wouldn't repeat.

We stayed here for one week in September. The location could be described as "far from everything". The food was okay (rice, pasta, chicken, meats and sallads), but you were not allowed to take the warm dishes for yourself, which was pretty annoying. They would give you one tiny chicken leg the size of a toothpick, and expect you to be satisfied with that. We once were eight minutes too early for breakfast and were told off by the staff to wait before taking any food (I hade already taken some food on my plate). Seriously, eight minutes! If you had any business to the reception you would always find the lady on the phone, so you hade to stand there and wait for ages just to get your room key. The bathroom had a really odd layout. When going on the toilet, you had to squeeze yourself down sideways to be able to sit at all. If you have some extra weight on you or you are otherwise just a big person, then forget about using the toilet at all. The terrible smell from the drain would also spread into the bedroom, even with the bathroom door closed. No, won't be staying here again.

We stayed at this hotel in July 2012, it was a lovely clean and bright hotel, the staff were friendly and the rooms were lovely, however the food was very poor, it was not geared up for English people, there were alot of Russians and Serbians. I would recommend this hotel for a relaxing break and if you dont mind being far away from the centre of alanya.

This hotel is very good situated, near the famouse Kleopatra Beach. First nigh at this hotel we recived terrible room on the ground floor. No aircondition, shower norking bad, toilet for handicaped people, no sfe deposit box, view to the court yard. After the many comlains we move twice. Finaly the receptionist said us we recived teh best room. It has nice view but it was quite small. No chair in the room, there were holes in the cartains. Cleanliness was terrible. There were problems with elevator which was out of order for three days. At the pool area there are only a few places to rest, not enough for hotel capacity. Meal very quite good, mosty vegetables and fruit.
This hotel i good for unassuming people.

We were very positively surprised from the hotel - we have booked "very cheap alternative" and wanted to have just "bed & breakfast", but arrived to new renovated hotel, with nice and clean rooms, and very friendly staff.
Specialy the restaurant and bar staff was always cherful and we had very good feeling from all guys.Food was very tasty and various.
To all people I can tell, that this 2*+ hotel is easily comperable with some 3*+ or 4* hotels.
Have a nice holiday in Alanya!
Lenka+Josef+Jakub:-).

I'm used to finding last-minute deals with unspecified hotels. Ca 30 trips the last 20 years. I've NEVER been disappointed with any hotel. I'm not picky. Until now - and this was a specified hotel, booked through Nazar and it is no way near the specifications. This should've been my second day here. When I arrived yesterday, as booked, they didn't have a room for me, they had overbooked. I was told to check in at the neighbouring hotell and come back after breakfast the following day. As compensation I was promised "a very nice room" and dinner from their buffe every evening during my one week stay. I was followed to the neighbouring hotel, Celina. There I got a very small and dirty room. I actually cleaned the toilet and basin with their towel and some soap! When I came bac here at lunchtime I had to wait for my room but was promised it would be "nice and quiet". The room is in a building behind the hotel in their pictures. It is right above hotel Celine's pool and poolbar. The view is the backwall of hotel Celine. They play techno music at high volume in that poolbar. I went directly back down to the reception and asked for another room. He told me that the poolmusic would be quiet after 6 pm. I was given the keys to 3 other rooms to look at, but they were all in this same backyard building, facing a pub/bar on the other side of the narrow street. I decided to stay in the first room, hoping that it actually is guiet later today. In my room ther are no handtowels or glasses, which I've never experienced in any hotel before. Both the bathtowels and sheets are full of stains and look real filthy. They are washed, just not clean. Dirt from the floor stick under my feet. I couldn't take a afternoon nap because of the loud music so now I'm sitting outside the reception waiting for the music to stop playing in about 3 hours. The breakfast and dinner buffet is limited but fresh and ok. The guys in the restaurant are very sweet and helpful.

I really just want to leave but I'm stuck here for a week :-(
