Melissa is know for it's friendly staff. We paid litte extra and got a bigger room towards the pool and with a nice sea view. This is an all inclusive hotel and even though the hygiene seemed to be good, I got sick and had to stay three days in the hotel room.

Staff were really friendly, one in particular who came from Istanbul, couldn't do enough for the guests - he was a real hit with the ladies! Extremely hard working and always with a smile. Just stayed here all inclusive for a couple of nights. Had to queue a bit for meals as they were following COVID-19 rules, and only allowing a certain of guests in at any one time. Wasn't too bad though as a lot of the guests took their meals outside to the patio, so the queue moved quickly. They were very strict about wearing masks when moving about in the restaurant - which was very pleasing. Food quite good - very good selection of salads and starters. Limited hot selection and desserts, but nice food, all served by staff. No helping yourself, except to bread, again because of the pandemic. Cutlery was also bagged, so they'd really given thought to protecting the guests. Tea, coffee and water available in the restaurant and a free bar with a good selection of wine, soft drinks, beer and spirits - open 10:30 am- 10.00 pm. Suffered one night without air conditioning because I didn't realise they hadn't given me a controller - my own fault, should have complained straight away. When I did tell the staff, problem was solved immediately. Rooms nice and clean and a lovely powerful shower. As I only stayed 2 nights, my room wasn't cleaned, but that was fine. There was a massage place and Hamam on site (which I didn't use) and a hairdresser/tattooist/beauty parlour next door (which I did use) and was delighted. I had a fantastic pedicure - one of the best I've ever had. Also had my hair cut and coloured for a third of the cost it would have been in the UK, and they did a beautiful job. Well worth a visit! WiFi available in the reception area.

This is 3-star hotel, so do not expect 5 *! The hotel is small, consists of two buildings. There is a hamam (paid) in the hotel. You can find here pool and a very small pool (as jacuzzi) for three people. One restaurant and one bar which is open from 10:30 to 22:00. The food is not very diverse, but it corresponds to a three-star hotel. There is enough food, so you’ll never be hungry . Exceptionally friendly staff! They are ready to assist you 24 h. The hotel is very clean, constantly cleaned. The cleaning lady will not enter the room until you hang a sign asking to clean the room and change towels. The room is clean, in good condition. The double room has three beds. There are two chairs and a table on the balcony. TV set is from the XXth century. Air condition and refrigerator are very old as well. The refrigerator cools only to 15-18 degrees. The air condition plastic part of the indoor unit is totally broken. Therefore, it blows only in one direction - right on the bed. So it’s impossible to use it. You should go to the beach 50 meters and to the sea – only 150 meters!!! There is a bar/café on this public beach. If you want to have sunbeds and umbrellas – you should pay it every day. Beach towels are not provided. The beach is sandy, clean. A huge plus of the hotel - children under 12 years are not allowed. So if you want a relaxing holiday in clean hotel with good value for money – come to Melissa hotel!

Room was prepared for 1 person, not 2. Cleaning was poor. We were there 1 week and we had to ask for clean towels and bedsheets were not changed at all. We only had breakfast included which was very basis, no butter, no fruit, milk not cold, jam was more like a sirup with a little flavor. Bar next door was really loud until midnight. 3 kilometer from center of Alanya which was great. I did not perceive any of the staff as being friendly or helpful which is actually why I would not recommend it. It was, however a cheap place to stay. Rating should be no more than ⭐️⭐️

I think this is the best 3* hotel in Alanya!!! When hotel has an amazing staff, it means that your vocation there will be perfect! At first, the rooms and territory are very clean. There is a swimming pool inside, so if not good weather and big waves, you can take a rest in it. Also the great plus of this place is a food!!!!! Huge choice, very tasty and a lot of fruits! Every day they created for us something different, so we were not boring with the food! The sea is very close: just 50m and you can feel a sand under your feet! Big cheap hypermarket Migros and bus stops are very close too. I am very sad that this hotel not works during the winter time, cause for me it will be a great pleasure to spend some time there when in my country a big minus outdoor.

Poor service. Almost no one speaks English. The food does not live up to a 3* hotel and there is not much to choose from. Often old food was served again. Generally old and not well maintained hotel. Cleaning also poor.
