Spent 10 days at the grand kaptan, had an amazing time, hotel rooms are a little dated but who really stays much in the room anyway. Beds comfortable, rooms cleaned daily. The staff are lovely esp the lady in reception and the photographer's, food was good and the view from the sky bar is amazing. A free shuttle bus takes you to and from Alanya town. The beach is just through the tunnel, they have their own private jetty which you can jump into the sea from and where we had our professional photos taken. Already booked a 14 night stay again here in september next year. Such a memorable holiday, am counting down the days till im back again.

The hotel is great, had an amazing experience. The staff is outmost friendly and helpfull😇 I've booked a massage package by Pebri after the session she recomanded to get a couple more session because of the tension in some muscles. After 2 sessions is noticed less tension than before. I think Pebri is amazing and professional

briliant hotel, food good, rooms good, hotel clean, staff friendly, and a brilliant massage opportunity with Sandals - location was good with beach just through the tunnel, good idea having a free bus to Alanya, only downside was it took about 2.5 hours in the transfer to get to the hotel

Where do I start. Upon arrival I was told at 5am that I am not allowed to wear my Burkini in the swimming pool due to hygiene purposes. This is not advertised anywhere in their website and no where around the pool. I explained to them they should inform customers on booking, as I would never have booked. What this hotel is scaremongering as they want to cater more for the Russian and German cliental. I still went in the pool as I won’t allow people like this to scare me. Surprise surprise nobody said nothing to me. Second no baby changing facilities AT ALL. They cannot call this a 5star when none of the staff talk adequate enough English and walk around in trainers with their uniform. The staff in the morning gave us but pure racism as my husband being Arab and as I wear a scarf they presume I was and I experienced the rudeness of being asked “what do you want” but when the Russian or German customers appeared it was nice and pleasant talk. The general customer services was just terrible. Basically if your English like me, or Arab or wearing a scarf then you are not welcome, so don’t waste your money. …

We stayed in Grand Kaptan Hotel as a couple and it was a very good experience. The whole staff was very kind. We especially recommend the Spa service. Thanks to Wardana & Novi we had great professional massages. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy their services.

We stayed at the hotel all inclusive for a week and had one of the best holidays of our life. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the rooms and hotel were clean, as was the private beach and the food was great, even for a fussy eater like myself. The hotel is very expressive for what they offer.we had ultra all inclusive what was included 1 evening a la carte. We couldn't use this offert what we payed for this because they didn't find place. just 5 tables they had for this . .. we was very disappointed. In rest what i can say we had one good experience at spa.

I second the below review. The rooms are very dated, when we first got to the the room there was no electricity and the shower leaked through the tiles all over the floor. The food was ok, but not much change/choice as it was pretty similar every night. That was until the last day where I got food poisoning from food at the beach bar and had the worst travelling back experience of my life (I will say thank you to the transfer gentleman who let me run out to every other hotel he stopped at so I could use their facilities). The gym was so dated, half of the equipment was broken and the treadmill was a safety hazard. The hotel is catered for Russian and German people with the staff speaking hardly any English, and some were quite rude. The hotel did have a shuttle service but we weren’t aware that it wasn’t close to the harbour of Alanya/city centre so you can’t just walk out the hotel and find something, it’s at least 15 mins away, and this really affected our holiday as we love to go out exploring and the shuttles weren’t frequent enough to be able to do so using them. The hotel is semi clean but the pool area is filthy no tables cleaned of a night time. The pool side floor is dirty and filled with ants and stains your feet black ! The rooms are dated and no where near a 5 * . The rooms are clean but should not be advertised as 5* it is a 3 at most. The food is un edible. We went all inclusive the food for dinner and the evening meal is the same every night no options for children and the meat is vile . Lots of people we spoke to had food poisoning and couldn’t come out of their room . We ended up eating out every night to avoid getting sick . The hotel is catered for Russian and German people with the staff speaking hardly any English. The hotel isn’t close to the harbour of Alanya do not book this hotel for a family holiday !!!

Hi I just like to write a quick note to say how much we enjoyed our trips to the luxury spa. The team are very skilled especially Soner Kurkcu who did several sports massages / treatments on my long standing damaged shoulder. These treatments were fabulous and at the time of writing I have movement and am pain fee in my shoulder for the first t8me in nearly 20 years. Thank you so much - I would recommend Soner to everyone he’s fabulous, thank you.
