We have just returned from our 2 weeks stay at Grand Uysal and we have had such an amazing and memorable time. I was very anxious before visiting due to this being our first visit to Turkey and my daughter being diabetic but the worry soon went .Upon arrival (which was late evening) we were greeted by a very polite young man whom helped take our cases to our room. The room for our selves and 3 teenagers was modern and always cool due to the adjustable air con. The food was fantastic and always lots of vatiety.I would like to make a mention to all the chefs, and everyone else whom work so hard to prepare the food, they work so hard and to the cleaner in the restaurant who always does his job to the highest standard. The pool area is a sun trap and the animation team work hard to entertain everyone. Myself and girls enjoyed joining in with the aqua gym. The lifeguards are always keeping an eye out and the female lifeguard was lovely and friendly and we always stopped for a quick chat. The only negatives i have about the hotel is that alot of people just left towels on sunbeds over night and some never went back to them until late afternoon resulting in some families not being able to sit at the pool with their children. There also seemed to be alot of russian visitors to the hotel and they did not like to queue and at times were very rude, several times i saw them simply walking to the front of the queue for food and at one point a fighy broke out because of this.After speaking to some staff memebers it became apparant they were aware of this and the rudeness.Maybe we are just too polite?!. We did meet a few english people and they were all very friendly. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the local bazaar where you can pick up a variety of bargains. This was our first stay but definatly not the last.

Just arrived back yesterday from staying here, and what a great time we had. As my son has coeliac disease and can only have gluten free food I was very nervous about travelling. The chef Ibrahim was amazing, he catered for my soon noon and night so he was never left hungry. He went above and beyond every day and we cannot thank him enough. All staff was very pleasant, and couldn’t do enough for us! I would like to thank the man who swept the restaurant floor tirelessly morning and night ( didn’t know his name) for working so hard and being so welcoming to me and my family. My children loved the entertainment team and getting involved in the activities. The room was cleaned every day, plenty of food choices every night, and the restaurant area was always clean and tidy. Glad we visited here! Once again a massive thank you to Chef Ibrahim for making our holiday enjoyable and stress free!

This hotel looks great in the pictures but in reality it’s not . First of all you could not get a sunbed at the pool as people would leave their towels on them for days . This was addressed when my friend spoke to the manager -they then started removing the towels every night, but, by this point we had had enough and would go to local beach clubs everyday . The food at this hotel is very repetitive and basic which led to us eating out most of the time . Fruit time was supposed to be between 4-5 pm I saw this happen once during our stay. Out of the 3 bars only 1 has alcoholic drinks for all inclusive guests. The beach area was very unappealing and seemed to be shared with a neighbouring hotel.

So we came here with high expectations due to the reviews however we was kind of disappointed. Firstly on arrival to the hotel room, there was hair on the towels e which was disgusting. Also there was a cockroach in the room. Their shower head wanted to kill us, it would randomly drop whilst showering as the seal was loose. Secondly you have no wifi access in your room and have to pay which is very weird and a big money making scheme, all hotels offer free wifi in their rooms so for a supposedly 4 star hotel. Thirdly, most of the evening entertainment catered towards the Russian/German guests eg the music, not a lot for their British guests. The shop keeper downstairs and his family made our stay lovely, they were super friendly. Also the domestic staff were really sweet and good say good morning each day and always asked if we needed anything. The food was decent. You have to pay extra for fresh juice and Turkish coffee/ cocktails.

First it was a long transfer from airport with crazy Turkish drivers which isn’t the hotels fault but worth considering before booking. Our room although had a distant sea view ( leaning over the balcony ) also overlooked the bins. Plus the road was quite noisy. Room inside was good - nice shower although the last 3 days the water wasn’t very warm. The food gets cooked from about 4pm and then gets left in some containers with the lids open so by 8pm isn’t the best. Not sure if it was the hotel but me and my wife had upset stomach’s. We had to eat out quite a few times. It was also hard to get cutlery as they never reset the tables. The bar staff are not fast and prep each cocktail as they are asked for resulting in a queue for drinks. They also were always short of glasses and tried to pour you a plastic cup . When asking for a glass they washed with their fingers- not very hygienic. One last thing worth noting is people left towels on sun beds for the week with one person putting a bed sheet over the 2 sun beds . The hotel did address this half way through our holiday which meant it was easier to get a sun bed. We moved a towel off a bed one day and it was where we left it for 3 days so had obviously been left when they had returned home but was then a sun bed which wasn’t in use. Personally we would not return here as not what we expected from all the lovely pictures on both the website and from the holiday company.

Me and my family enjoyed our stay at Grand Usyal Hotel. When we first arrived we were welcomed greatly by the staff. The following day when we woke up we went down to have breakfast which had many choices of food to choose from, everything was well cooked and delicious the same goes for lunch and dinner. While we were eating in the morning a cleaner lady would come and clean our room so when we want back everything was spotless and clean. This hotel also had a snack bar and a pool bar were u can also go and eat which was very convenient when the breakfast and lunch times were over. The service was really great as when we finished our food the staff would come and get our plates which prevented to go and put our plates back, the staff was very nice and would help us in any way. The beach was really close by aswell since the hotel had a tunnel which led to the beach which was really quick to get to. However one thing I would like to point out is that you have to pay for the wifi which is inconvenient and we would have to share the WiFi with ourselves between my family. One other thing is there was no prayer room to pray in for those that wanted to pray like myself, I would have to go to my room and pray, adding a prayer room in the future would be very nice and considerate for those who want to pray. Overall me and my family really enjoyed our stay at Grand Usyal Hotel. Thank you for everything.

Have just returned from 9 days at this hotel. We got to the hotel late, but they offered us soup which they have on every night for late night snacks which are nice flavours. Room was clean, nice sized, looking over the pool. Really enjoyed the food, plenty of choice but this hotel doesn't really cater for vegetarians. Lots of different choices with nice meats, potato's, rice, veg, salad and the puddings were amazing! Snack bar is open 12-5 as well as lunch, you won't go hungry at this hotel. You don't get cocktails included but on the plus side its actual Pepsi instead of cheap coke! They don't offer English tea which was a downside for us. Staff are friendly but they pick who they are serving first not who's been waiting the longest, they tend to serve the Russians first and the Russians are very rude and will just cut Infront of you. Id get to dinner/lunch first otherwise you're fighting to find a knife and fork as they don't reset the tables. Food is cooked Infront of you always topped up with fresh. Hotel also has a private beach which is great.
One thing of advice is booking any trips online and not through a rep, we had booked the Jeep Safari for 15 euros online, but some people was charged 45 euros! The spa is also amazing 39 euros for Turkish bath, sauna, steam room and 45-minute massage.
I wouldn't buy anything from the shop in the hotel, the man seems nice but over charges you on everything! Says one price to one person and then different to another, I'd go to the shop to the right of the hotel.
I think this hotel should offer free wifi throughout the whole hotel and not just the reception as it would make it that bit better.
Would definitely return.

First stay here and very little complaints from me, the hotel was lovely, constantly see people cleaning to keep the standards high, was a good choice of food and drinks available everyday. Want to give Kemali a shout out, he was a great waiter, always made sure we had a drink & always hard working, this was the same for the bar staff both at food and evening bar, very friendly, quick service and smiley! Only real downsides was if you wasn't staying pool side, the other hotel is very noisy which sometimes goes on until 3am and the walls seem paper thin where you can hear everything and struggled to sleep most nights, also if you want comfort, take a bed sheet with you, the duvets provided are a horrible material and are like bath towels, not comfy at all. Aircon in the room was fantastic, but they only give you one key so you can't charge your phone or leave aircon on without staying in your room. You also get told to meet your rep the next morning after arriving to discuss transfer, we ignored this and didn't turn up as all they do is try sell you trips that are cheaper to book online & waste your time away. Do not buy from the hotel shop either, he charges what he wants for different people. Final thing not hotel related, DO NOT book a shuttle transfer from the airport, we have MTS and they stopped at a place on the way & back to make you buy things which again is planned as its expensive, nuisance when you just want to get to your hotel, they also constantly get lost and then whole journey they spend on their phone, transfer takes 2 hours, ours took about 4.

Our hotel clearly specifies on both our website and through various booking agents that we offer rooms with different orientations. Upon reviewing our Guest Relations records, we did not find any complaints from you during your stay. Like any other hotel, we do have certain rules in place. As part of our commitment to sustainable tourism, it's not advisable to leave the air conditioning running in your room while you are not present. We have conveniently located charging stations in our hotel lobby to facilitate charging your phone. We are sorry to hear about the inconvenience you experienced with the transfer service; however, this matter is not within the purview of our hotel. This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. When we arrived in the early hours of the morning there was only the receptionist & baggage boy, they started making comments about my elderly mother in Turkish my husband asked them what they were saying & they why denied any inappropriate comments. We finally got to our room there is a shortage of drawers to put stuff away, the bathroom has no storage for your toiletries, the mini bar is in fact just a mini fridge with 4 small plastic cartons of water that was it no juices or anything else, they supplied a few sachets of local coffee & creamer you don't get any China cups just small paper ones. The beds & towels are only changed every 3 days, on the bed all you have is a sheet with just a thin blanket that look like a table cloth. The food in the restuarnt was absolutely unedible, the night before, Brussels sprouts along with broccoli & carrots were being served for breakfast you fit know what was being served, the lunch & dinner menus were no better the best food we are was from the pool bar which was a chicken drumstick & a few onion rings. The beach is rank, there are used condoms all around the sun loungers s, GROSS.,there is rubbish left all over. You are crammed into a very small space. The hotel is set in the middle of two very busy & fast roads so you hear the traffic all the time, there is only the hotel shop which sells everything otherwise there is nothing near. We were so glad to get home it was the worst holiday ever. I have have it a rating of 1 star that is me being very generous. Personally I would advise anyone to avoid the hotel & area

Our hotel operates with a professional team that is available to serve even in the early hours of the morning. Our reception and other staff members are committed to providing service to our guests with respect and courtesy. The allegations that our staff made inappropriate remarks are completely contrary to our mission and service philosophy. Such behavior is unacceptable, and we maintain a very strict approach to this matter within our hotel. Regarding room arrangements, sufficient storage space is provided in every room, and minibars are stocked with drinking water upon your arrival, as stated in the booking information. Additionally, complimentary coffee and tea are offered as standard, and our cleaning services are regularly carried out in accordance with established hygiene protocols. Bed linen and towels are changed every three days as part of our environmental awareness principles, but of course, they can be changed daily upon request by our guests. Our meals are prepared by expert chefs in our hotel, following international hygiene standards, and we offer a rich menu to cater to all tastes. Contrary to the negative comments mentioned, we frequently receive positive feedback and satisfaction reviews, especially regarding our restaurant and meals.
