After seeing negative reviews, we didn't know what to expect. But, we had a fantastic time at the Mesut. The room was very clean with a beautiful sea view with housekeeping each day. Check in was swift and easy. The restaurant food was extremely good and very tasty - everything from fresh hummus, kofte, chicken kebabs, fish with lots of salad items, traditional dips and gorgeous deserts. Nothing was reused. If you are looking for sausage, egg and chips you might be disappointed as the food is obviously Turkish based. In fact the food here was some of the best we have had in Turkish hotels, so we were really happy how nice it was. We had superb service from the waiting staff who remembered our drink preferences and were topped up without having to ask. Everyone we dealt with at the hotel were very nice and we had lots of smiles and a warm welcome when we saw them. The top deck near the pool has full sunshine all day, we saw none of the usual towels being left overnight and had plenty of choices of where to go around the pool. For a budget hotel, we couldn't fault it and wouldn't hesitate to return. Thanks to everyone at the Mesut Hotel for such a nice stay, as well as a few laughs too.

Still here waiting for the room we booked 4 days later just been offered another no difference just a double bed and a single but not taking as over bar area its not a proper all inclusive cooked food is just warm not a big selection and the bar area's are rubbish not a lot of choice and choice of one free cocktail off o a menu with about 6 to choose from but only the one at the top of menu. Beach bar soft drinks only and no alcohol on beach we was told but thy do have beers which you have to pay for mini bar in your room is empty you get 2 small bottles in when you arrive and then when I asked for some more was told they was a shop across the road. The pool bar at night don't bother drinks are in plastic glasses and know where nice to sit. Not a 4 star maybe just pushing a 3 star wish we had suck with gumbet and a better tour operator is love holidays need to do better..

The hotel is basic but clean. The staff aren’t friendly but they aren’t unfriendly, they just seem indifferent. The rooms were comfortable and housekeeping done daily. Pool is ok although it ends up in the shade by mid afternoon. That’s about all of the positives I can think of. I have been to Turkey 10+ times and never have I gone all inclusive and ended up eating out for almost every meal. The majority of the food looked like unidentifiable slop. The only good food was the snack bar around the pool and breakfast usually had some salvageable bits. The hotel is about 2 miles from the centre of Alanya, although there are some nice restaurants around the hotel.
The best thing we did was walk about half a mile down the road towards Alanya to Tyson’s Tours (opposite White in White beach club). Tyson was so incredibly helpful with our tours and we hired bikes from him almost every day and cycled our way around. Much more enjoyable than buses back and forth and a lovely breeze along the beach front, only 75tl per day. Highly recommend the cable car to Alanya castle. All in all an enjoyable trip to Alanya but we will never return to the hotel or recommend.

We chose this hotel last minute booking after focusing on the good reviews & close proximity to the sea. Had to experience & judge for myself. Its definitely not a 4* id say 2*plus. We arrived around 5am tired, hungry thirsty. No food or drink offered. I asked for milk so I could make a cuppa (brought my own teabags, pillow, cleaning products) milk request declined. Shown to our sewage smelling room, (we requested a room change which was granted next day) we found 2 small bottles of water in fridge. Beware this hotel only offers 2 small bottles of water throughout your stay, you have to buy your own even with all inclusive. Or drink the aweful tasting one from drinks dispenser in dinner hall or bar. My husband lived on chip butties & pizza for the week as there wasn't much choice for him. I enjoyed the traditional Turkish dishes & fish. The hotel staff don't speak English but very hard working & polite. Basic amenities close by. Transfer is an agonising 3 hours & not very enjoyable at night. We hired a bike & ventured up a mountain close by, also met some lovely people also guests at the hotel which made our trip unforgettable.

Hello ; According to the concept, you should have known that only water was placed in the rooms upon arrival. According to the agreement we made with your agency, the all-inclusive concept ends at 07:00 in the morning and 23:30 at night. Unfortunately, we do not provide service from now on. You should have known that the concept was like this. There is no chance that any of our rooms would smell like you mentioned. You have already received a standard room; As you know, standard rooms have land view... I wish you wouldn't use something as an excuse and show the hotel as a problem. Thank you again for your valuable comment.

Stayed in this hotel in June 2024 can honestly say worst hotel I've been to.
First day of arrival room wasn't ready had to wait hours in reception for previous guests to leave, when I did get into room it wasn't cleaned only beds were made. Lateral seaview was non existent as my balcony lead onto a seating area for other guests so blinds had to be permanently closed when in room as there was no privacy at all. All inclusive food wasn't edible had to eat out and oba alanya was very expensive with the he cheapest breakfast being equivalent of 9 euro. Staff very unhelpful for one instance the electricity in room only worked when the key card was in the slot as you enter so the fridge to keep drinks like water cool didn't work unless you sat in room all day untill it cooled, I asked staff at reception for another key card but only one key card is allowed per room no matter how many of you our staying there. Pool area was good if you can get a seat but suggest you get up and down before 8am as people go down and leave Thier towel there and leave for the day. 1 beer available on all inclusive and it was watered dwn efes, you could really taste the difference from efes bought from outside hotel and inside. Some male staff were very creepy to the female guests staring sniggering and and pointing while talking to eachother in Turkish, this resulted in the female guests not wanting to go get there own drinks. Check out was at 12 so our bands were cut off even tho we didn't get the all inclusive for the first day. Location to the beach was brilliant. There was some helpful staff.
I've never written a review before as I've always thought that it is what you make it and read bad reviews in the view that there's always somebody that will find something wrong BUT this hotel was bad!

Arrived early hours of the morning as a family of 5 , 2 adults , 3 boys aged 15,13,12 , had booked and paid for 2 rooms to be given 1 , ok if children had been younger but not when they’re teenagers. The room was cleaned daily . The hotel itself was clean , always a sun ed around the pool available and pool area was clean , not ideal for smaller children as there were steps up to some of the sun beds with no rails to hold and floors were very slippy . Food was awful , i had read reviews previously to say restaurant food was bad but it did say snack bar was ok for children this was not the case , the menu was no longer available so it was chicken nuggets ( no way were they chicken nuggets). burgers, chips , and something they passed up as pizza . We ate out everyday it’s just aswell it’s in a great area with some lovely restaurants can’t complain about anything we ate in the restaurants. All of us fell i’ll during our holiday we were there 10 days on day 6 we started to fall i’ll everyone else recovered i didn’t , did not leave the room from day 6 till i flew home on day 10, i think it was the air con that made us i’ll as we noticed on our last night it had been leaking water all over the bed ! When i got home i was home 5 hours and was admitted to hospital where my condition deteriorated and my family were called in and told to say there goodbyes as i only had one day to live , miraculously i recovered and i’m now home after 2 weeks , i’m unable to do anything but i’m home and feeling ok , i will be emailing the hotel to tell them they need to clean their air cons as we think this is what caused the problems,. Id also be very wary of some of the reviews on here as before i fell i’ll there was a lady who i will post a pic of who was walking around the pool daily asking people to write a review on trip advisor even if they’d only been there a day and would pass them her phone to do it , how many are likely to tell the truth if she’s say reading it .

Hello ; First of all, thank you for taking my photo, I wish I had known. I'm a human relations staff member and I would have helped you if I had known. You know better, but my job is to take care of the guests. That's why I'm always among the guests. Meals do not consist of only one meal, there are 9 main hot dishes and 12 cold dishes next to Naget, not even counting the salads. In addition to these, there are two different areas, a ınack buffet and a patisserie. These start in the morning and continue until dinner. Your air conditioning problem has been resolved according to my records. And finally, the daily routine general cleaning and maintenance of the pool is done, the records are also available. I wish I could help you if you shared your problems with me. Thank you for evaluating us in general.

The food is disgusting, the staff rude and the living conditions far from advertised. Avoid as you’ll be disappointed. The reuse food, they treat you like you’re in prison and will never honour any promises they make. The only thing they care about is money and will try to take as much money from you as they can. Disgusting!!!!

There are only a couple of things that save this place, and I'm only giving that 1 star for the chef, his food, and the younger staff who were all lovely, friendly and helpful. After the second day, I developed a really sore throat, and a full on flu soon followed which hit me on the last day. We soon realised that it was the aircon in our room. It looked old and dirty but it was so hot that we had to have it on! On our check out day, we handed in our door card and promptly had our wristbands cut off, then to be told that we were not allowed anything else to eat or drink unless we paid for it....we had spent our last bit of money on medicine for how we were feeling. If it wasn't for the lovely English lady penny, who got me a big bottle of water, I would have collapsed, because I was so dehydrated and my throat was so sore. So I paid for 7 days, and actually only got 6 and a half.. .clean the filters on your aircon units Mesut...you are making people ill!!!!

Before choosing this hotel I did go through the reviews and thought great, happy days. I'm not one to moan usually if I have a roof over my head I'm happy. I arrived at 2am on the 19th of June to be told my room wasn't ready as they had a problem with room availability, coupled with th fact the guy at reception couldn't speak a word of English? Gobsmacked at this after 7 hours of traveling with a 13 year old we had to sleep in the reception area for 3 hours waiting on people to check out, without so much as an apology. When we finally got a room it wasn't even the right one but took it regardless because we needed sleep, aircon is free but I dn think it's been serviced in years as anytime it was on in my room 209 it caused caughing up flem, home now a day later and the problem is away. The food is editible to be fair but we choose to eat out most nights, nice location by the beach, area in general is a quieter part of oba, 15 minute drive to the marina where it's alot busier with bar street ect. Smaller pool area so if you want a sunbed I'd recommended getting up early to claim one. Rooms where cleaned to a decent standard everyday. The all inclusive drinks are watered down so I found alot of people where actually buying bottles of spirits to top their drinks up around the pool.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in! Service from checking in to us leaving was pathetic 😒. Food was freezing at every serving and when mentioned to restaurant manager was met with a shrug of the shoulders. Alcohol was watered down and when the beer pump worked was operated by staff who clearly didn't know how to pour! Rooms were an absolute dump with blood on walls and damp throughout, rep's didn't want ti know hence no change of hotel could happen . Avoid at all costs
