El Mouradi Club Kantaoui has received a mix of feedback, with its beach location and entertainment options being highlights for guests. However, many have expressed disappointment regarding the cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms. While the staff is often commended for their diligence, there are reports of service being occasionally slow and unaccommodating.
Cleanliness levels have drawn criticism, particularly concerning linen and towels. Additionally, the value proposition is questioned, as guests feel the quality received does not meet expectations, citing hidden fees and amenities that fall short of what was promised.

Detailed Reviews
If you are looking for luxury then here is not for you. Ive said in previousl review stars are facilites and an indoor pool and a gym give this thier stars. We booked knowing it was off season, knowing ther would be limited service.
Check in was easy we were early but we were given our bands so we could get some lunch. Payi grh tourist tax was a bit of a faff not sure why they couldn't just take a payment at reception rather than go to the cashier pay your money, go back to the reception to give them teh reciept all teh time the receiptionist is with you anyway! weird..
At just £24 a night PER ROOM all inclusive we were pleasantly surprised.
Our room was pool facing and ok I had to ask for extra blankets twice but they came in the end. The housekeping was fine, though they didn't take any empty glasses away we took them down ourselves.
Drinks were plentiful, food was acceptable and edible despite only one of the three or four restaturants and bars being open. There was a limited breakfast choice but we had fresh eggs and croissants that are cooked in front of you every day and never went hungry. We had a great waiter called Ahmad to went above and beyond for us every day.
The Main outdoor pool was shut (off season, limited service) but the indoor pool was great and often empty. the gym had no treadmill but I used thebike a couple of days.
I think we were the only English there and with only one flight a week from the UK we weren't surprised. Though its a great shame as the country is beautful.
The only downside was the slightly creepy tour sales guy who has nothing to do with the hotel but is not very good at taking no for an answer!
Sadly due to a very bad flight and airport experience which marred our experience we'll be unlikley to return until a new carrier apart from TUI decide to fly from the UK.

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. I'm glad to hear that there were aspects of your stay you enjoyed, though I’m sorry for the issues you encountered. **Check-In Process:** I apologize for the inconvenience with the tourist tax payment. We will review this process to streamline it and make it more efficient for future guests. **Room and Housekeeping:** It’s great to know that you were satisfied with the room and that housekeeping responded to your requests. We’ll address the issue of not removing empty glasses to improve our service. **Food and Drink:** I’m pleased to hear that the food and drinks were satisfactory and that Ahmad provided excellent service. We aim to offer a pleasant dining experience, and your feedback helps us maintain that standard. **Facilities:** While it’s unfortunate that the main outdoor pool was closed and the gym lacked a treadmill, I’m glad you found the indoor pool and bike satisfactory. We will consider your feedback as we work to enhance our facilities. **Tour Sales Person:** I’m sorry to hear about the discomfort caused by the tour sales person. We’ll address this issue to ensure that guests are not pressured into unwanted interactions. **Flight and Airport Experience:** I understand how travel disruptions can affect your overall experience. All-inclusive family booking in June 2023
1) Reception = average because there were too many people and the team was not large enough (I understand that they were overwhelmed and slightly overwhelmed)
2) room = average
Large bedroom with carpet (I didn't like the carpet)
Clean but old decor like all the other mouradis (except that of Gamart)
Very old TV, you probably won't watch it
Average bed not very comfortable but it works.
Large bathroom with bathtub
3)Restaurant = ok
Large restaurant with 2 rooms
You have to queue to eat (too crowded)
Food varied and in good quantity
The team was very active given the large number of customers. They tried to fill all the emptying trays as soon as possible. Even the manager was present and brought the trays himself from the kitchen to help the servers
So well done = positive point the restaurant
4) swimming pool = large swimming pool with entertainment all around
You can even access the entertainment of the Moiradi Palace right next door
5) private beach bar or hotel bar provided in all in coffee juice water.....
Short break at 4 p.m. cake and croissant
In conclusion = the hotel was full too many customers
The staff did their best (with customers often arrogant and never satisfied)
Bravo to the manager who listened to customers and helped his employees
(I gave the rating very good to encourage the staff but the hotel requires an improvement in the structure)

So where to start ?
The positive points: perfect location and adorable room staff, very good and clean room (room 652) despite the worn bathtub. The mini disco every evening for the children was great. Nice evening entertainment but too noisy and non-existent during the day, really nothing!!!
The negative points: Restaurants frankly very very very average an INTERMINABLE queue morning noon evening it's a race all the time to eat and snack??? If we can call it a pancake snack made by 1 person for hundreds of people 1 hour wait for 2 pancakes I've made it once not twice! It's disrespectful to us to offer such services, the hotel is too crowded for the number of staff I think or bad management, that's for sure!
Not enough variety is terrible and with children it's frankly horrible! Fortunately pizza existed. Even with good value for money overall the food is honestly not correct.
Ants in the bathroom. Apparently people had them in their rooms...
And the worst thing for me is the noise in the corridors at all hours!!! Unbearable day or night!! In addition to evenings with loud music until after 11 p.m.
The staff and customers dragged a bed across the entire corridor at 1 a.m. without respecting the sleep of the children or others! Anything ! From 7 a.m. you can hear the ladies on the floor talking to each other really loudly. Basically to relax and if you have young children this is not the place I would recommend.
Disgusting beach and yet I know this place very well, it's the first time that the sea was so dirty apart from the algae there were plastic bags and bottles in the water and in front of the hotel I point out, so the maintenance really meh!
The swimming pools are ok but not enough to entertain the children like the slides which are nicer for them. There are 2 slides in a bad state and it's more for the little ones.
I stayed there for 1 week with my child and frankly we spent 3 days outside the hotel. I couldn't see myself staying there every day.
Overall, I wouldn't really recommend this hotel unless you don't have a big budget to go or if you're in love why not.

The first need for a 4-star hotel is unrelated, other 3-star hotels are much better than them.
Second, if you want to go to a family hotel, don’t go to,
The thing that motivated me to go is said it is a family-friendly hotel that only accepts families, but when we arrived we were totally surprised, and it was like in the youth house there was loud music in the rooms, youths of all kinds and in large numbers everywhere, and it was a time of sales that became the place for the hip and the bear.
The day of arrival the reception is catastrophic and it's like you're craving to get your room with the connected masses and sports teams and you're in the playground or the street a noise noise and didn't even let us get the meal with great fatigue and we waited until very 15:00 and half to get the random room full of extra space ( 02 beds) meaninglessly and even the roads were told to be provided later ...
Poor old-fashioned, 1980s rooms with very old-fashioned TVs in a dirty state.
Poisoning moquette-inducing allergy with special insects at night
Food: Here the disaster lies in armies of people waiting for a meal and every day an incredibly large number of people are waiting in class for a grilled fish for up to 20 minutes, and when you get it, you find your food cold
Almost the same food daily, no variety
Lack of soup and traditional dishes
Lack of water bottles and soft drinks
The same pizza every day, very flavorful while waiting in line for it
The food is generally no less good than usual, with a focus on quantity only to accommodate the many crowds of tourists.
It’s a big deal to wait for the same bad meal everyday until eating becomes stressful with the big noise at the restaurant that gets you hurt
Morning is the same every day and nothing attracts or impresses you compared to 3-star hotels you might find diversity
Better.
Internet unavailable in rooms
There’s no snack in the cabaret or in the pool, just hot drinks like coffee .... or soft drinks
The good thing is that the hotel has good swimming pools and is able to accommodate large numbers, so the seating provides a beautiful, clean beach and so the route leading to the beach is very beautiful despite the lack of light at night
Just the positive
Accepted and thankful entertainment staff
I also pointed out to the reception team that after two days I wanted to change the room was easily and gladly changed and they
Thank you (especially the lady)
The fact is that cleaning is daily, towels change, floor scans are positive
This is my summary of your stay at this low-key hotel that no one has revised in particular. If it’s a reduced period, know that you’ll regret it and you won’t lose the price of your stay compared to other hotels, save some money and stay in another hotel that at least respects your visitors.
This is my advice

Absolutely appalled at the accommodation. The pictures of the bungalow on the webpages are massively misleading. We booked a double room, we were given a quad, with no bedding.
Toilet and bath is dirty.
Floor is dirty.
Ridge is dirty
Air con isn’t working
Only Manzar at reception, trying to be fair to the young man managing the arising issues
Hotel smells of smokes it’s supposed to be a non smoking hotel
The hotel is not 4* as website states
I’ve been in better 3* hotels
Customer should expect basic bedding
Basic cleanliness of the room
Regret booking

Pension to avoid despite the beautiful beach and two swimming pools.
Pension not renovated, odious room staff (no clean towels every day) at the reception the staff is unpleasant apart from an employee.
The Inn differentiates between Europeans and others.
Organization in cahotic food hall, no cutlery and glasses on tables...
They charge for water bottles when normally it is included in all-inclusive formulas...

I was there with my family, including two children, and unfortunately, the lack of attractions and very poor food quality posed a significant challenge. The hotel looked good from the outside – a nice, white building that seemed clean. However, inside, we encountered cracked walls and a damaged bathroom.
The change of bed linen and towels only took place after the third intervention, and the pillowcases were changed only on the seventh day of our stay. The overall service was poor, and the organization of meals was at the level of a 2-star hotel, even though we were staying in a 4-star hotel. The hotel toilets were clogged and had an unpleasant odor. The staff barely spoke English, which made communication difficult.
Additionally, for most of our stay, we had a problem with jellyfish, which forced us to mainly use the pool, where unfortunately, floating hair was sometimes present. Regarding the food, waiting for pancakes or pizza took up to 30 minutes, and there were restrictions on portion sizes. Snacks available between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM were also disappointing, as queues lasted 20-30 minutes just to get a simple sandwich. To top it off, the bus to the airport arrived 30 minutes late. I received an automated message in the app instructing me to call a Polish landline helpline, which was absurd considering I was in Tunisia, not at the Baltic Sea. I’m not willing to pay for a call to Poland from Tunisia.
In summary, I regret choosing this hotel, and to some extent, the destination as well. The entire experience, from the problematic flight to the poor hotel conditions, lack of attractions, and inadequate food, made our stay far below expectations. Unfortunately, it was neither a successful trip nor a good choice for a family vacation.

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry that your experience didn't meet your expectations, and we'd like to address your concerns. Firstly, we want to clarify that our staff does speak English, and we strive to ensure clear communication with all our guests. We regret that you encountered any difficulties in this regard. Regarding the pool, please be assured that it is cleaned daily to maintain a high standard of hygiene for all our guests. The same applies to our rooms, which are cleaned regularly to ensure a comfortable stay. We apologize if the service did not meet your expectations during your visit, and we will follow up with our housekeeping team to address this. As we are currently in full season and the hotel is fully booked, some waiting times during peak hours are unavoidable. However, we are continually working to improve our service and reduce delays, especially during meal times. Your feedback is important to us, and we will use it to make the necessary improvements. We hope you were able to enjoy some aspects of your stay and that we can welcome you back in the future for a more positive experience.

No way this is a four star hotel. The check-in process alone was a major red flag. We arrived, after 30 minutes we were seen to by one of the reception staff who then handed us a form without any instructions and told us to 'go mingle with the other English'. After filling out our forms we were then shooed back out ino the lobby and told to wait an hour for our wristbands. After the wristbands, we were shooed again and told to wait another hour for our room. We should have seen this as a sign of things to come because honestly the experience didn't get any better from then onwards.
The canteen is horrendous. Hordes of people fighting - and I mean literally fighting, we saw two fist fights during our stay that involved security - over serving spoons to serve boiled slop onto grubby plates. There's no cutlery when you sit down. Piles of food and debris from previous meals laid out across tables and the floor.
Our room, completely run down. Masking tape holding hooks onto walls for towels, numerous missing light bulbs and fixtures, a loose door handle that breaks every time you use the key, a bath completely stained with black 'something' and to top it off and old crtv what gave me an electric ZAP when I tried to turn it on. It did not turn on.
Making use of the hotels facilities is a chore. To get a beach towel (tattered beaten up rag) you pay at reception for a slip of paper, the paper you then cart down to the pool to exchange for a towel. This process goes for most things, like the gym. You pay for paper, you then go for a walk to find the mystery person who will exchange the paper for what it is you want.
This leads to another glaring issue... This wasn't an all inclusive holiday. In fact it felt like at every turn there was another deposit or tax to pay on top of what we had already paid through Love Holidays.
The only redeeming feature of this hotel has been the staff outside of the reception area. They are genuinely helpful, polite, and work hard to maintain even a tiny bit of order. It's self evident the staff are working with very little and they are trying to do a good job which is very commendable.
If you're considering this as a holiday be warned that it falls more in line with a two or three star experience rather than the four star that's advertised. It's sad to think I you too will be genuinely home sick.

The hotel in general is very old. You can see plugs out of place or the toilet roll holder hanging out. We had booked 4 rooms and in 2 of them there was no hairdryer. In one of the triples we were missing the towels for the third person, and in the fourth of the rooms the complimentary bottles of gel and shampoo. We found stained towels and the bathtubs are dirty and with hair, plus lime.
It has direct access to the beach and several swimming pools, although they close at 6 pm.
It took us more than 30 minutes to pay for 3 beers by credit card because they have a single phone that must circulate in different parts of the hotel. A lot of people come in to eat, forming large crowds to get served food. Tremendous number of Algerian tourists who serve themselves and eat with their hands, sneak in, fill food dishes that are then left on the table, throw food on the floors and the chairs leave them dirty.
This hotel should not be included in the circuit for Europeans who are not used to this deplorable lack of hygiene, to people who behave like this in society, or to the cook himself serving you the grated cheese in the pasta with his hands. Then these same tourists move through the corridors screaming and without respecting the rest of others.

Stayed here for one night following flight delay. Extremely poor service with rude, unhelpful and unprofessional staff. Was put in a dirty room that hadn't been cleaned since previous occupants vacated it. Used toiletries, lots of sand and urine left in bathroom. Insects, (I think ants) all over the beds that still had dirty sheets on. Got a few bites despite spraying insect repellant. Had to persistently and assertively argue for towels, water and toilet paper. I am a teacher and I am extremely polite but unfortunately was still treated disrespectfully by staff in the hotel. When they say no, they get angry if you continue to respectfully pursue your request. Was actually told to walk around the hotel asking any maids I could find if they had toilet paper. None had any. Was also told to buy water from the Bazaar they had managed to open at 2am, yet they couldn't manage to open the door to the restaurant to allow us to fill water bottles! Disgraceful!!!
The restaurant was so busy that it was challenging to get food. As soon as a tray of food came out people honestly pushed you out of the way to grab it. People grabbed a full plateful. Full tables of food piled high was left by guests. Can't understand why people do this but the hotel need to take some responsibility for poor organisation.
Pool was very odd and over organised. No jumping in and had lane ropes in. Not a 'fun' pool. Couldn't spend time at any of these pools.
The beach was amazing. So glad I can end on a positive.
