El Mouradi Palm Marina receives mixed feedback from its guests. While the hotel's prime beachfront location and energetic atmosphere are often lauded, with a variety of evening entertainment options, many travelers feel it falls short in providing value for money. Although the amenities, including a clean pool and beach access, are generally appreciated, some guests note a lack of sun loungers and mediocre spa services. The service garners compliments for the diligent entertainment staff, yet service consistency is a concern. Room cleanliness and maintenance are also frequently criticized, detracting from the overall experience.

The hotel is pleasant, but areas do need carpets replacing, and the decor needs a face-lift to make it feel less like a function room for hire.
The bedrooms are spacious but extremely boring, furnished with a flatpack bed, and drawers. The bedding doesn't fit the bed correctly, it's way too small. The pillows are terrible. Some shower gels were supplied along with shampoo. The TV in the room had 2 English speaking channels, but the signal made watching them impossible.
The massage and spa service was a let down, we were firstly miss sold a massage package, the actual massage was more of a rub down with oil, it was meant to be a heavy, couples massage in one room for an hour. We were separated and given just 40 minutes. We raised our concerns with the public relations team, which they investigated by checking camera footage, just to ensure we were being untruthful, we recieved an apology and an offer of a free massage, but we politely declined.
The indoor pool hasn't any water in it, and was not in use.
The outdoor pool is great, always clean and well watched over by the numerous lifeguards on duty.
Kids pool, again great.
The number of sun loungers isn't adequate for the number of guests. Multiple guests were without one.
The single pool bar can't cope either with the demand, large queues waiting on drinks, bar runs out of beer, runs out of cola zero, coffee tastes different daily. The plastic beakers they serve drinks in are old and really tatty looking. They're also not washed correctly being only hand washed in a sink by the bar staff at the bar. There's no bar at the beach area.
The outdoor food area serves food all day, there's select times for select items.
The main restaurant again can't cope with demand, there's not enough tables or chairs for the number of guests. Food was good, we found something to eat and enjoy daily.
The beach is cramped, rows of broken loungers sat side by side. The usual sellers hanging around the waters edge, trying to forcibly sell you tat.
The staff are the best thing about this place, tip them and they look after you, don't tip them and you'll go to the bottom of the pile for a table, a sun lounger, a drink etc etc.
Overall we never expected a true 5 star resort, our stay was pleasant, we got up early to get a lounger, we tipped so the staff looked after us and they did. I feel the management have buried their head in the sand, and allowed the last 10 to 15 years to just happen without changing with the times. Needs a new modern approach, and this place could be good, but for me, just an average 3 star experience lacking in lots of places.

The hotel has two buildings, the rooms on the left are better, the furniture is newer. The rooms are huge, the bath and toilet are separate. All rooms have a balcony or terrace. They clean very well, fresh towels every day, a large bottle of water in the room, sometimes flowers.

Very tasty food! Although the choice of hot dishes is not so large (2-3 types of meat + fish), everything is very juicy and soft! Breakfast, lunch, dinner in the main restaurant + for lunch there is a restaurant on the beach (12:00-15:30) There are 2 restaurants, Alyakart, you can choose 1 restaurant per vacation. Italian and Tunisian. We chose Tunisian and did not regret it. The food is incredibly delicious. By the way, freshly squeezed juice was served for breakfast every day. I liked that the water in the hotel was bottled and not from a cooler.

I really liked the animation. The guys give their all 100%. They pay attention to all guests, both children and the elderly. In general, the best, funniest animation I've ever seen. It is clear from them that they love their work.

The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. I would like to return to it even just for them :))

We were very apprehensive after reading some reviews on here but we thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay .
We had a lovely refurbished room with a sea view. We paid a supplement for the sea view and was worth it. Excellent housekeeping.
Great pool and lovely beach with plenty of sunbeds . You paid 15 dinar deposit for towels and could exchange daily for a fresh one.
The food was varied and plentiful and catered for everything that we needed. There were some stations that cooked meats and fish while you waited. Had read reviews about waiting in a queue and although we were waiting it was for such a short time and to be expected for food being cooked freshly!! we found some visitors very rude and intolerant , we live in a world of very entitled people ! Have read many reviews re running out of drink etc but that was not our experience. Tunisian white and Rose wine was lovely ( didn't try the red) as were the cocktails !
Worth visiting the Port and we walked there , took approximately 45 mins. We also had a lovely meal at the Hard Rock Cafe , again great food with fantastic service.
The staff are an asset to the hotel and the animation team were just great . We tipped , not outrageously and never felt that it was expected but with staff working so hard providing such a great we felt they were more than deserving. Thank you for such a lovely experience

It’s a real mixed bag review the hotel is huge and very close to the airport and beach the rooms are large and the are plenty of seating/sun beds

The restaurant breakfast is nothing like you would expect they even run out of bread 🤦‍♂️ don’t expect anything that resembles a full English here very limited menu
Lunch is no better
Evening meal you might be lucky and get some limp arse chips …..
As the hotel was quiet they had closed all the special restaurants so it was same food repeat every meal it’s the only holiday we have ever lost weight on .

The waiting staff were very friendly
The bar area is awful they run out of draft larger on day 1 so if you asked for a beer they opened a large bottle and poured it into a tiny glass 2/3rds of a 1/2 larger sized glass unfortunately this means sometimes when you order a drink your getting a warm flat beer that is the dregs out of the last person’s bottle we asked if we could just have a bottle but was told firmly NO with a wave of the arms unfortunately the soft drinks are the same warm flat most of the time the waiters are friendly but extremely slow meaning long waits for very small drinks honestly the size of the glasses are a joke .
The spirits that are available in the all inclusive are simple paint stripper cheap nasty topped up with a warm often flat mixer .
We gave up after 2 days and went out of the complex to eat n drink .

The reception was large and clean where you can change up your money etc

The rooms well yes it was clean ish but very very dated the air con was broken the lock on the balcony was broken paint flaking off the walls basically needed a facelift 10 years ago the shower well your risking 3rd degree burns every time you shower 1 minutes it’s nice and within a split second it’s burning hot you basically doing the hockey cokey when your having a shower everyday other quests warned us it’s dangerous plain and simple .
We were a party of 4 and we all agreed we would 100% not be returning the bar drinks are really poor quality despite the really friendly service the same with the food and the hallways to the room are very tiered thread bare carpets
The rooms were cleaned every day by some lovely ladies but unfortunately it needs some renovations it is only a 2 star hotel maybe 3 at a push I only wish I had read the reviews before I booked as I certainly wouldn’t of wasted my money we spent more on eating and drinking in a different hotel then the cost of this hotel and flights .

The part where we were accommodated is old and looks very bad in every way, like a hotel with 2 or 3 stars maximum. The rooms and halls have terrible and dirty carpets, and the maids clean very poorly, and you will often be without a single towel in the afternoon. The people at the reception are rude and never listen to your requests, for example, if your safe doesn't work, you will not have one in the end. The waiters serve you only if you tip them, and some are very unpleasant in the sense that they behave inappropriately towards women. If you get up by 7 a.m. to take the sunbeds at the pool, you can only hope to find a free one, of course, without umbrellas and mattresses. The sea is dirty and full of jellyfish, so almost no one swims, that is, only the brave. This is my worst vacation ever and I will never go back to Tunisia again because of it.

Where to start... When we arrive, we are quite confident. The hotel's infrastructure is pleasant even if it could do with some updating. The room is very decent and spacious (the sea view is really pleasant for a small extra charge).
But we become disillusioned quite quickly. At reception, you have the impression of being a nuisance. Fortunately the porter was friendly. Besides, don't ask anything at reception because they never can and don't look for a solution. They just look at you without saying anything, making you understand that that's how it is.
First meal: we are all-inclusive so the quality is average but we generally know that in advance. But there, it's the jungle (and it's not really high season anymore). There’s a rush, it seems like people are going to miss it. No room or buffet manager the first days to regulate all this. Not to mention the food waste of tourists but the hotel can't do much about it (maybe charge for the waste?). Tables are reserved by waiters who operate on tip only (the higher the tip, the nicer the table location). In response to this comment, we will probably be told that this is not true but we have seen it clearly (the passing of the ticket from the customer's hand to the server's hand). At one point, room managers were present and strangely things were better. In short, for the first two days, it's a real stress to go and eat. We tell ourselves that we will enjoy the two meals (included in the offer) at the à la carte restaurant. And there the customer manager, also very unpleasant who looks down on us, informs us that there is no more room knowing that the restaurant is closed on weekends!!!!!! We're not difficult or the type to play princesses, but we're still hallucinating.
What can we say about the swimming pool where all deckchairs are reserved from 7 a.m. with the approval of the hotel staff.
In the end, we adapt to the way it works and we give a few tips to manage to get deckchairs... thanks to some of the pool staff who are working hard.
To conclude, a hotel which has everything to be at the top but where the organization and management must be completely revised. With the exception of a few people (notably the waiters at the bar), we feel that they are being taken away.... We have to change jobs. Of course they are poorly paid, of course this trip is not very expensive but there is still a minimum (cheap does not mean free).
In short, try another hotel because, in my opinion, it will take time for this hotel to understand the meaning of customer service (and serious questions, which does not seem to be the case given the responses to various comments here or on other sites).
Message to the hotel (in preparation for their copy/paste response, probably made by the unpleasant customer manager who doesn't seem to be a hard worker): no need to tell me that you had to say it when we were present at the hotel since as soon as we came to see you with a problem, you didn't resolve anything and you obviously didn't care.

Accustomed to 5-star stays in Tunisia, (more than 10 stays) this Pension is far from worthy of wearing 5 stars or it carries shooting stars...

Architecture, swimming pool okay that's nice, but elevators broke down every other day and everything else is really not great.

Room: dirty, bed not made every day, poorly equipped, fridge (mini bar All inclusive, only a bottle of water point bar) with mushrooms (and yes it is all inclusive) , safe does not work, shower = tiny bathtub.

Service: If you give tips you will be served properly, otherwise it is to the delight of the little chance... We even had the experience of a waiter pecking at our plate just before serving us at the pool snack bar (served on plate) with questionable hygiene. You will have little chance of finding a place around the pool. Seats that are booked against tips naturally.

Catering: very decent buffet, positive, but then the restaurant room looks like the restaurant room of a flunch, super noisy, no privacy, no room according to your arrival time, no dining outside, you queue to serve yourself, up to 30 minutes waiting at the buffet plancha, 45 minutes to 1 hour for the snack of 4 pm (pancakes, donuts)...

Administration: You arrive, you fill out a questionnaire, you pay the tourist tax, we give you the key to your room and there you go, no explanation about the Pension. At Check-out you return the key, pay your extras and here you go... Not a question, not a word...

All inclusive: paid sports access, paid SPA access, menu outside of local wine, 3 cocktails to choose from, a few sodas or coca all pay at Awards set for wealthy Americans.

Atmosphere: if you are looking for the tranquility of a 5 star hotel with a little charm, run away! Music from 9am to 11pm, animators who gather you all day for Things to do... If you say no, you won't even be allowed a hello.

Beach: Ten minutes ago, you're on top of each other, sea nothing exceptional.

You can be sure that we will not set foot in this fake 5 stars! We advise you to go to the Pension Oranger Garden in Hammamet, much more stylish, with impeccable service, calm with an all inclusive menu filled with liquors, spirits, quality wines, champagne, drinks of all kinds 24 hours a day unlike this Pension.

A real disappointment reinforced by a Pension attendance by populations without any know-how to be, without any know-how to live... And I'm not saying everything...

Have a nice holiday!

The worst experience of my life, the rooms were very dirty and smelly, not renovated, with an old-fashioned TV and very poor lighting. The elevator was out of order near rooms 340 - 347. Our complaints were not addressed (everyone keeps telling you to come back later) with a blatant neglect of our requests for service improvement. A serious lack of professionalism from the staff, who only serve European nationals, neglecting the needs of people of other nationalities. We thank Khaled from the room staff, who served us well and cleaned our room, taking our complaints into account with full professionalism (changing the smelly blankets, etc.)

Me and my husband were very excited to go for holiday. Looking at the pictures on website and up on arrival all went down hill the reality was completely different. We got there at midnight did tell them we don’t eat meat and fish and they bought us fish to eat. Then went to the room all the corridor was filthy carpet and full of stain. Entering to the room bedsheet had hairs room dirty doors and cabinet full of dust. Patio to the balcony so stiff couldn’t even able to open had to use all the energy to push door to open. No kettle in the room (no tea coffee facilities in room ) hotel that saying they 5 star. It’s just misleading customers, it’s all lies. Bathroom was filthy all bath tub dirty. Bathroom curtain full of stain, shower didn’t work properly. Sink was broken and stains all round had broken hair dryer just went to use and all come apart it was tapped inside black tape. Toilet sit was broken. Reception staff rude. Saw guy washing plastic glasses with just water and by hand then serve us drink on it. Plus they advertise few drinks and couple of drinks were never there. When go for breakfast one coffee machine alway out of order and when u take hot drink from bar 60% is cold. Lift to the rooms works one day and 2 day out of order. Advertised snack for 4-6pm but all u get is pan cake and doughnuts same thing u get for breakfast they should put clear saying they serve them two things not to say snanks.
Never again there,

Bar too small, bar waiters even shoe like the every service with money despite you are booked in all inclusive and full board
In conclusion This hotel , very serious
And never recommended
