Having read some reviews I can see where people are coming from in their descriptions/experiences. Not a bad looking hotel. Nice reception area as you would expect for a 5*. The rooms are average; the room we were given was shoddy, enamel peeling off the bath, old brown furnicher and threadbare dirty carpets. We had paid for a sea view room, which this room didn't have. When we explained this we were given a different room which was much nicer, same layout etc but more pleasing to the eye and a sea view. This was a common theme as others experienced the same issues with shoddy rooms. Pool is nice and big but there were not many umbrella shaded areas. Beach was very nice with plenty of shaded areas. Water sports available nearby but not on top of us. Food was good overall. Breakfast continental not English. Plenty of salad for lunch and dinner, with a hot selection also. It's a bit repetitive but we didn't find it an issue. Deserts were very nice. Staff were very good, polite and helpful. Room was cleaned everyday and tidied up, no issues here. Drinks were OK, not a massive selection and no premium brands (lager was not that nice but that's personal taste). I can see why people question the 5* status but overall we had a nice holiday there and would go back. There is a nice shopping mall a short taxi ride away; the marina is nice with restaurants etc. In conclusion, the hotel looks tired in places and you could gamble on having a decent room, we may have been lucky to have been moved rooms as it was not busy . It's a popular hotel with quite a few people going there regularly. Other hotels may have similar issues. If you have been to Egypt all inclusive you may be disappointed in this hotel, its easy to compare places you have been; just bare in mind this is a cheap place to go and as a result there is a compromise. Service was overall good although poor on a few occasions Oh, and there is entertainment during the day and evening which is good. I have given it 3 out of 5 as the rooms were not really reflective of a 5* hotel and there were places that need refreshing. But as I said, I would go back.…
The worst hotel in the world, dirty, old and with terrible service. I do not recommend it to anyone. The rooms are dirty, the beds are dirty, the towels are dirty, the furniture is old, the bathroom is from the 60s. There are cockroaches and other insects all around. Outside doors are old, the door locks are very old and difficult to open with a metal key. They say that the hotel is 5 stars, but it is very far from 5 star hotel. I will give only 1 star.
The staff is excelent, bartenders, animators and the reception staff are amazing.. They give 100%. Great for the familys👍 The rooms are ok, But not for 5* hotel. Food is good. I revomend it for the vacation.... We Will Come back for sure🤗🤗
People are very very nice. :) Food is good but every day it's the same, mini cakes it's very delicious. Animations it's the best in the world Bathroom is nice but we need a big television In Slovenia a hotel like this have just 3 stars but it's OK!
very good hotel with a good and helpful staff (worker) a good pool and nice beach. and good mood for all day. boys from animation team they are my new best friends great jobthe beach is clean and beautiful nice animation during the night just a really good holiday
Amazing hotel with nice beach a great animation team and good worker staff, the food is very good and the cookies are the best. The pool and the water in the sea is very clear and beautiful, the programs are veey good, and if you dont like it you can even play tennis or petang or anyithing you like.
After finding my original hotel shut, this was my option for three nights. The hotel had a grand lobby, all stone and polished granite floors. Going upstairs to the rooms by lift and the corridors had carpets definitely past their life. The room was clean but carpets dirty with cigarette burns. Bathroom ok but the toilet seat was not fixed properly and was annoying. The huge balcony showed its age and was run down with cracked tiles and sun-beds were varnished which was peeling off. A few ants in the bed which looked as though they could bite but I didn’t get one. The pool was large and inviting. However, from my room on the 4th floor you could see it had a big dark patch in the middle which was algae on the bottom. Not a pool to swim in, I thought. Food was plenty but local style. Children would have no choice so beware. Staff very friendly and for the price, acceptable to me on my own.…
It's not that good but it's not that bad i like the pool and i like disco the food not that good they to work on themselves but it's worth visiting and the rescpition you need change they not that good
I was staying here during Covid times. The hotel had not a lot of guests en still they did not managed to give attention to the staying guests. Listening out loud to videos at the reception, never wear a smile etc. I put 3 stars because the room lady was so nice, but when the room lady is more hospitable than the receptionist, you are doing something terribly wrong.
First day I got the worst room in this hotel - 172, everything was broken. Toilet didn't work good, very old furniture and broken wardrobe. Receptionist -Lamya, when she realised, that I am from Czech, she gave me the worst room ever! After she didn't want to change my room, even before her colleague promised me to change, for better room in upper floor. But this madam, said NO! I am here alone, so she was really rude and didn't want to help. After some calls, she changed my room, but in same floor - 163, this room was little bit better. So be ready, if you are not from France, Germany or Great Britain - but from Czech, Poland or Russia and those countries - you will get horrible rooms! Or if you don't give tips! Housekeeping is working really badly, always I found a mess which was there from beginning. Not 4* hotel at all! Restaurant- the food was untasty and served by waiters - those were kind and nice, not like others (reception or bar). But, choosing the food was really hard, because there weren't any names tag! So you didn't know what is what. Fruit wasn't fresh at all and not big choices. Bar - unbelievable! Waiters asked for tips, and when you didn't give them, you should go to bar to ask for coffee or whatever you want to drink. Tables weren't clean too often. But if you gave them tips, they will bring it to you to your table. Firstly they will care about those who give tips or are from France, Germany or Britain. Pool - never saw them to clean it! And you can't check the chlorine, because it's not written there. Sea and beach - it's really far, but not that bad. This hotel is maximum 3*!!!! If you don't want to spend your money for nothing, don't go here! In Port El Kantaoui are better hotels than this one. Nothing was positive, anything! I visited this hotel in date 13.10.-27.10.2020…
