i took a road trip with my brother to the south of Tunisia to discover our roots. we arrived at Dar Hi after 8 hours of (me) driving (as he had just broken his foot) We were the only guests in the whole hotel and felt like kings. the staff was brilliant, without being over-bearing. All local people, which ads...

We had a wonderful time in the hotel. It was a welcome change from the usual mass tourism in Tunisia, very small and individual with e.g. the meals being prepared just for us. The design and the view from the hotel was wonderful and the staff very friendly.

I went to this piece of art with 5 colleagues. We stayed for 2 nights and our experience was just amazing. The service is excellent and people working there are really friendly and trying with all tools to meet our expectations and requests. We felt as at home and the welcome was the warmest and nicest ever. The room is...

Before reserving this hotel you need to understand that the south of Tunisia is completely different than the capital or the cost, this hotel designed for people who are looking for a new experience, it has a wonderful oasis view and the small room has a window box when you can enjoy this view. I booked two nights at this well-located hotel. The atmosphere is really great and luxurious but the service is horrible and unprofessional. There was no reception service. When we arrived, we waited around 30 minutes then the director came to us announcing that the hotel is overbooked. I was with 5 other couples who have the same problem. I cannot...

Having decided to travel through Tunisia I decided as I knew nothing of the country to spend a week in neat small city of Nefta. The hotel did not disappoint me and I found the hotel staff from the manager on arrival, through the staff who bring our luggage in our room and the ladies who serviced the room daily...

This was a very trendy place, with great decor and views. It's definitely for relaxing. There is dinner provided (if you reserve). Our experience of this was average. The service was impeccable. When paying there was initially a problem using a credit card. You may need to pay by cash in the end. They did manage to sort out the...

Dar Hi in Nefta is a wonderful hotel from which to live the desert experience. Close to the border with Algeria, in a valley all along the salt lakes such as Chot el Jerid, and surrounded by thousands of palm trees. Close to wonderful mountain oasis. The design of the hotel is impressive, modern, ecologic and absolutely pleasant. The food...

This is a gem of a little hotel, with fabulous views, a general atmosphere of serenity, and the architecture and staff both exude hospitality and openness. Their kindness is disarming and the hotel's manager will be happy to help organize trips into the surroundings. Another wonderful thing about Dar Hi is how time slows down: we staid a week and...

Though the staff are helpful, they often fall helpless and short of your expectations. Food is terribly oily, and not well presented, often given in large portions dumped in your dish in lumps. No one has asked whether we have any food restrictions. The first night we had a sardine paste lump, then an oily green salad lump, then a...
