First three days we were in the wrong hotel then we finally got to the right hotel . The food is simple and ok . It's the same foods day in day out . Tunisian foods only . So if you love your chips etc , then this place is for you . You have to pay for bottled water as you can't drink out of the tap . The staff are friendly and helpful . The beach is nice but if you want water sports they're further down the beach in other hotel areas . The beach men are lovely and helpful who look after this beach hotel . This beach area doesn't get cleaned everyday . Rubbish scattered everywhere and dangerous . Health and safety is not a priority . You also get pestered by sellers and when you say " No " , they don't like and they keep trying . The rooms are basic , no kettles . There is a flat screen tv and you have to ask for a control . There is two inside shops . Very useful . The cleaners are lovely and clean ever day . Entertainment is a joke ! Same rubbish music day in day out . They don't listen to you when you ask for varied music for all cultures . The swimming is great . Large pool , infinity pool , two toddlers pools . Cleaned everyday . Two water slides as well . There is a local guide and asks if you want to go on excursions . I believe they are very good according to my 28 year old son .

After being sent to Palmyra Golden Beach because Palmyra Resort and Spa hadn't opened for the season yet, we were nervous. We didn't need to be. The staff made this holiday, from the fantastic reception team where nothing was too much trouble, the bar staff, particularly Bussy, the waiters in the restaurant and we can't leave out the brilliant animation team of Walid, Enzo and Nammy who did a fantastic job in ensuring we did different activities, kept us entertained and made us feel so welcome. The beach is beautiful and the sea is so shallow, warm and is just perfect. Yes, the hotel needs some tlc, but they've not had tourists for three years bringing in revenue due to Covid, so I didn't expect perfect. What I didn't expect is such a great team. So a massive thank you to all the people who made us welcome, you made our holiday.

Friendly, pleasant, amenable staff. Smoking in all areas (except dining), especially by management and their cronies. So your children will soon be nicotine addicts. Lift door closes (and is difficult to re-open) as soon as any button is pressed, so do mind your young children. Wi-fi only available in the smokers area, often slow and poor connection. The lobby is hot and airless unless there is a breeze, and this is very more noticeable for the rooms that surround on the encircling floors overlooking it. I complained about the incessant dog yapping and barking day and night (often), so got moved on the 2nd day. TV in the first was unwatchable (not even a remote until requested twice), TV in the 2nd poor signal but BBC (europe) News, CNN, MTV and 2 or 3 local ones. My 2nd room:- Broken air conditioning switch unit heated the room up. 1 power point. Almost every day little or no water at some point - eg 0700 030 0900 1100-1330 1750, and often only cold available. (Yet the occupancy of the hotel was definitely very low compared to neighbouring ones if beach numbers was evidence.) No plugs in bathroom. The food was limited, and repetitive. NO disabled access. (2 flights of steps). Breakfast - boiled egg, local cereal, rice pudding, 1 veg dish, factory pre-made salad, baguette. Some days pancakes made. 2 MRM cold meat, 2 pre-cut/made hard cheese. (Seemed like, stale) croissants. Tea, coffee, (concentrate watered down) squash-like cold drinks, water. Lunch - factory pre-made salads, 3 or 4 main dishes inc 1 fish, potato/chips dish, puddings. Concentrate watered down) squash-like cold drinks, water. Dinner - factory pre-made salads and puddings (as at lunch), 3 or 4 main dishes (inc/+1 fish). potato/rice option. (Concentrate watered down) squash-like cold drinks, water. But the flies loved it, (evident by their constant presence). Don't forget your Imodium, glad I didn't. No real evening entertainment unlike neighbouring hotels (unless you like repeated playing of the Bee Gees, smooth jazz or rap, every week.) Plus beer pong or pass the football (like pass the parcel). Little daytime entertainment on offer (not even the slides (again unlike neighbouring hotels). £150 for an hour on a jet-ski (nearby). ALL neighbouring hotels had very visible buoys in the sea in front of the hotel area. This was to protect bathers from motor water machines. THIS hotel finally put one out on my last few days (almost invisible in comparison) and ignored repeatedly by the vehicles on at least 2 occasions that I saw. No local shops. (shop on site for holiday stuff). Bus stop to Monastir over road but non for Sousse (hotel side). Train to both 1km away at airport. Both good services but expect it to be of a low standard compared to Europe (but still perfectly useable). Beach numbers were about 1 to 10 compared to neighbouring hotels. I think this indicates the level of their patronage in comparison. There was a water leak into the lounge/lobby area that lasted over a 2 day period so the marbled floor became dangerously slippery, and I had to report it, at which point a runner carpet was laid over.

Where to start every bad review of this hotel is worse than you can ever imagine. Upon check in we where charge for checking in an hour early and they wanted euro or sterling. Got to room it was filthy every part of it. We asked to get moved each room that was offered was worse than the first so we had to put up with it. The hotel is totally for Eastern Europeans. Food was un edible catered for Russians drinks/alcohol was brutal could not drink it was like paint stripper. We where the only two Irish people in the hotel. The staff even asked why we where here it’s a Russian hotel. They had no manners about them they would take the ladle out of your hand at dinner push u out of the way. They would fight with their finger nails. Everything this hotel says it has is complete lies no fridge in room mini bar indoor pool gym etc all lies. It’s bn sold under false pretenses. The best thing about this hotel was walking out the front door to get bus to airport. It was the longest 7 days never thought we’d both lose weight after a week all inclusive it’s awful please don’t go. Not one part of hotel/staff I could recommend just the front door home. I could go on and say a lot more but I hope someone gets and takes my advice. Save your money 😡😡😡

I was with my friends on my trip to Tunisia. We were very tired from traveling and staying away from more than -13 degrees below zero to 40 degrees. The weather was beautiful, the place where we stayed was wonderful and the architectural style of the hotel was beautiful. The swimming pool was very pure and the sea was very good. The food we ate was A great grandfather and a wonderful friend, I used to share the room and it was our room, and now the animations that our friends had for a whole week made a thousand ways to make us happy with comedy shows and different dances. I loved them from Mimi to Ali Baba, Napa, Timo, Ali El Din, Simo and Nina. Mira, we will meet again
