Neptunia Beach Hotel seems to be a hit for its lively atmosphere and friendly vibe, with entertainment that keeps the mood upbeat until midnight, as highlighted by guests. While the staff earns compliments for their helpfulness, especially in entertainment and housekeeping, some visitors have experienced service inconsistencies. The rooms are described as basic but generally clean, though noise, air conditioning issues, and pests have been points of concern for some. Guests appreciate the clean pool and beach access, but opinions on the hotel's value and dining options are mixed, with mentions of unexpected costs and the need for updates.

I spent a week at Neptunia with three friends and we had a really lovely week. We took part in some day time activities like aquarobics and darts and were sold on an additional massage which was well worth the money.
The highlights of the trip were definitely the staff working at Neptunia. The receptionist ‘TJ’ was welcoming and soon become one of our favourite faces around the hotel, always very helpful, friendly and funny.
The animation team were enthusiastic and friendly throughout the day and night.
‘Ziad’ worked on the beach with the water sports, which was all priced very fairly, he became another friendly face around the beach and pool.
The improvement points would be the food. It was good but not great, especially if you are a fussy eater or vegetarian etc. The chips were always yummy though and there is always pizza freshly made.
We made the most of the all inclusive bar and enjoyed many many alcohol beverages which were nice but you do need to buy your own diet drinks as they do not have this.
Pool and slides are maintained and manned all day and we enjoyed lots of time on our inflatables tanning.
The room was basic but clean and we had a fantastic balcony! No hair dryer.
The complex itself was safe and we had a great day out to the colosseum in El Jem. The entry ticket to this included a nearby museum which was enjoyable. It was no more than an hour in our taxi who pointed out local sights and for a small extra took us to a supermarket and waited for us at each stop. This was booked through the excursion man on-site, prices were very similar to those online.
All in all, I really enjoyed the week at Neptunia where my intentions were to simply spend a week relaxing.
Thank you to all the staff who were always so funny and kind!!

The hotel is ok. It could be so much better with some small improvements. The rooms are very tired but the cleaners did a perfectly good job. The beds are rock hard and my back hurt in the morning, although I improved that by piling the blankets and duvet onto the bed and slept on top. Sea view rooms can hear the 'entertainment' and the music is loud until midnight. These rooms also face the rising sun and the curtains don't keep out the light. We reported the little knob came off the shower thing 4 times but noone did anything about it, luckily we could make it work anyway. Shower, although a bit awkwardly positioned in the bath, was always perfectly good and warm. We all had stomach trouble but I was dreadful all week, which made it difficult to leave the hotel. (I did tho!) The air con in our room was absolutely lovely. It's a pity the dining room and communal areas (indoor bar) rarely turned any air con on so everyone is sweating into their food. The food is perfectly fine. We could always find something to eat. Some people's waste was utterly appalling! They keep running out of things which was irritating... Cutlery, never any glasses.. cups... Tea bags (take some). The swilling of used glasses at the pool bar was inadequate in my view. Local alcohol consists of vodka and 2 other horrible unidentified substances. No gin. The beer is perfectly drinkable (light pilsner type lager) but served in glasses so small (and not filled) that a trek up from the beach didn't feel worth the effort. The outside bar is extremely unattractive, just covered in wasps and about 2 bottles on a shelf. The hut by the beach would be awesome if it was a bar (just used for yoga and darts as far as I could see). The evening entertainment (which we only ventured near once and was very amateur) was right down by this hut so another trek to the indoor bar for each small drink. The beach is lovely, as are the guys who look after the sun beds. I had no issue ever getting one and I spent a perfectly pleasant holiday lying there in the shade, taking dips in the sea. We visited Monastir one evening and enjoyed haggling in the Medina and had a fantastic meal in the marina The Captain. The teens enjoyed the slides and pool, although the pool was way too packed with bodies for me. The weather was amazing.

I loved this hotel, the staff were very friendly and always asking how I was as I was on my own. I made some new friends in staff members and other guests from the UK, France, Germany and Hungary.. The food for me was very good, a variety and I love trying new cuisine's, I was never hungry. The rooms are basic but comfortable and the bed was great for my arthritic back.
The sunrises an sunset's are amazing and I loved blow-drying my hair in the wind watching the sunset. Loved the pool and beach too, the pool lifeguard wasn't too thrilled to clean it as it is very cold, I did offer to help clean the deep end with my snorkel as I've vacuumed a pool before and found it very therapeutic. I found having a cold shower first made it easier to get in the pool as I can't dive . You can apparently use the sister Liberty hotel facilities too but have to pay to eat there.
The manager was always checking on the guests and is willing to make changes to accommodate guests needs.

It you’re looking for a hotel that provides good entertainment, kind and always smiling staff, food that isn’t the same every day this is the hotel for you. Me and my family went in July and this has been the best hotel we have stayed in when going on holiday and this was mainly by how welcoming and entertaining all the staff were especially the animation team which always made sure that the children were entertained while also making sure adults had entertainment each night after a kids disco and by the pool there was all sorts of entertainment each day like darts, dancing and stretching. The pool was also clean, a good size and the children were even allowed to jump in and bring inflatables into the pool which most hotels don’t allow. The rooms in the hotel were okay and the cleaners are amazing at their job. The reception staff and the manager were also very helpful and nice when we arrived and throughout our stay so I highly recommend this hotel if anyone is looking to visit Tunisia with friends, family or even just solo because you will 100% feel welcomed by everyone.

The hotel location and surroundings are beautiful. The hotel food is good and every meal of the day can be enjoyed. Most of the restaurant staff are very attentive helpful and polite, what let's this restaurant down is the poor labelling of the food and the unnecessary questioning of the restaurant staff of what is what. This can be extremely difficult if you have allergies like myself and the language barriers can make things harder. I am allergic to peanuts and reactions can be severe in some cases potentially life threatening. I informed the hotel of my allergy and they still did not label properly and I had to continously check. Half way through our ten day trip I ended up having a reaction and was sick for two days. The second biggest problem with the restaurant is there is no air con and its difficult to eat in 40 degrees heat. The bar is a let down for spirits they water them down, and the ice is made with their tap water. The other problem in the hotel was a few staff members in front of house and reception. Especially one reception staff who is Tijemi he is rude and a scammer and will try to make money on you, he tried to pocket our towel deposit, gave us notes we can't use outside of the hotel, send a couple of young lads to a different city and charged them extortionate rates with a taxi he organised??? Another family gave him money they owed to the hotel shop, not realising they are a separate business. Tijemi did not give the money until three days later when the family who gave it him asked the shop keeper if he had got his money. He behaved as it had slipped his mind??? Although there are some serious issues, what really makes this hotel brilliant is the entertainment team. The leader T pac and his team Rico, Anis, Pika and Rio are absolutely brilliant. If it was not for them bringing guests energy and entertainment I'm sure guests would realise more of the flaws of this hotel. The hotel is lucky they have got one thing 100% right which is the entrainment team and they deserve most of the credit. The Neptunia shop owners also deserve gratitude from the hotel as they are so helpful to guests and you feel you can ask them anything they helped us with proper alcoholic spirits as the hotels were rubbish. And got us medicine when we had upset stomachs most likely caused by the ice. There prices are good and they are genuine people. The second business who deserves gratitude from the hotel is the water sports team directly on the hotel beach. They are helpful, cheapest around and will make sure you have the safest enjoyable experience. Zied speaks brilliant English and is kind and genuine.

I honestly feel like some of the reviews of this place are quite harsh. I booked this hotel on a whim with a friend after randomly deciding to go away and this place was in our price range and the pictures advertised made it look amazing. Just like any place, the pictures always make a place look better than what it is. However, my room was clean, up to standard and had everything we needed, toilet facilities were good though the air con in the room could have been better but still was okay. The people at the hotel were absolutely amazing and couldn’t praise them enough. They were friendly, funny, helpful and would do anything for you. The all inclusive drinks included the some alcohol but not a big list, think it was 4 different spirits, beer, wine and a few fizzy drinks and juice. No sugar free drinks available at the bar but you could buy from the shop they have on site which was a reasonable price in my opinion as some people have critiqued the price. Anything that would be imported like Pringles, bags of haribo would be slightly more money than their crisps but that’s what it is like when you try and buy American products in the UK. The food was good, always something I could eat and for fussy eaters there is ALWAYS freshly made pizza and chips every lunch and dinner time. I did have slight bowel problems but nothing that effected my holiday, it was just simply due to eating so much, drinking alcohol everyday, fizzy drinks everyday and a different style of cooking. So I do not think it was poorly cooked food at all as all staff eat the same and they are fine. People complained about the slides only being on between certain times but with the pool not being massive, I think it’s good as it allows people to play games in the pool, swim and just relax and not be splashed by people coming down the slides and then there’s time for people who want to go down the slide and have a laugh. There was always sun beds available no matter what time we came down, whether it was 10am or 1pm. We could always find one. The beach is literally on the hotels front door and you need to take advantage of this. The water is a nice blue and the sand soft and with the weather you could spend all day there. They have things like banana boats, paragliding (think that’s what it is) and camel rides all available there too. I really think some of these reviews are quite harsh. Yes the hallway carpet could of probably done with more hoovering but it wasn’t that bad. I only went for 5 days and I honestly had no issues. Would I go again? Probably, yes. My room was clean and I had a great time. If you’re considering this hotel then I say go for it. The people are lovely and you will enjoy yourself.

The hotel wasn't too bad. The bathrooms seriously need a make over. Beds were pretty comfy. Staff were all amazing, especially the animation team, Rico had more energy than a toddler full of e numbers lol. Pool and beach were lovely. Only downfall was myself, my mum and my partner all had upset stomachs along with most of the other English people staying there. We were unable to eat for several days or leave the hotel due to needing the toilet every ½ hr or so. The manager was very helpful in getting us medication for our upset stomachs. Adel from the shop was absolutely amazing and helped me throughout my stay with whatever I needed. AVOID JIMMY who does the trips at all cost he is very rude and a con artist, he'll over charge you for everything and try and bug you into booking trips. Drinks are watered down.

The hotel itself was stunning, very clean, everyone who worked there was lovely. The entertainment staff are amazing so welcoming and made our holiday, it wouldn’t of been as good a holiday if it weren’t for them, it would be good tho if the cocktails were included in the all inclusive and if the air conditioning was better in the room. But I will say watch out when leaving the hotel as we had issues were the cleaner was hiding our belongings around the room (under the bed, back of wardrobe and under the sofa) if me and my partner never noticed then we would of left the holiday without half our wardrobe, and further to that my AirPods were never found in the room so the cleaner has took them out the room. I was very disappointed when I found out she had been going into our suitcases and taking clothes out and hiding them so she can take them once we left the hotel, thankfully We found the clothes that were hidden around our room however I never found my AirPods and therefore am having to go through my insurance to get the money for them back as they were really expensive. It could have been a coincidence if it was just a few socks under the bed but u can’t get anything u see the bed and there was four layers of covers on the bed so the fact when we lifted the beds uo which are heavy btw and found one rangers top, two pairs of Hollister boxers, two pairs of boohoo man shorts and my hairbrush it was very unlikely they happend to squeeze into the bed, the fact my blue plt top was at the back of the wardrobe underneath heavy blankets and we hadn’t even used the wardrobe and further to that the sofa that we hadn’t touched and our suitcases had been sitting on every day was where I found my jumpsuit and two tops it was out there on purpose so we would not find them and therefore the cleaner put them there, there was also a point where we did see a man come out of one of the rooms the cleaner was in which seemed a bit suspicious as he didn’t work there, he could of been a guest but it didn’t seem likely, so be careful and double check EVERYWHERE when leaving your room. Apart from that all the staff where lovely apart from that one cleaner and the hotel is up to a high standard.

This was great value for money it is a 3star Hotel so don't expect 5star experience for a three star budget think a lot of these bad reviews wanted that. Hotel is in need of a bit of tlc but can't fault it for location if you are after a beach . The reception staff are very helpful yes you do have to pay a tax but it's only £5 so cheap compared to some places . The animation lads are brilliant working really hard to get everyone involved that wants to and are really friendly definitely made our holiday fun and enjoyable working really hard. The manager was always on hand to look after everyone and nothing was ever too much for him he went above and beyond lovely man. Bar staff, waiters , lifeguards and security again very friendly and helpful. All in all a great holiday not a lot around the hotel but taxis, local bus and train just outside and make it easy to get to different places Souse and Monastir aren't far and only 1dinar on the bus
