So me and my partner stayed here for two weeks, everything seemed “okay” on the first few nights but as the holiday went on you start to notice how bad it actually is, the animation team do nothing but drink all night, hungover all day and only interact with Russian or German people. Reception man constantly asking if he could buy my Versace trainers off me for 100Dinar! You take a table in the restaurant and a member of staff moves your things without telling you, not to mention he was asking if I was gay and if me and my partner would go to a club with him! One of them went as far as asking if we had sex together! Disgusting!! flys and mosquitoes EVERYWHERE, my legs are an absolute mess. There is nothing they do about it other than spray some cheap insect repellent that just moves them to the ceilings of the rooms, I could really go on and on!! I do not recommend this hotel and I definitely won’t be returning! NOT UNDERRATED AT ALL!!

We are the type of people that get annoyed when people review a hotel 1 star for a dirty sheet. We are not fussy or high maintenance and this is the first review I have ever made on here. I feel like I seriously need to warn people of this hotel. Checked in at 2am,no food was saved for us and no water given either. Considering we were all inclusive we feel it’s not hard to save a few sandwiches and a bottle of water. We were shown to our room and it was covered in mould(Room 109) we went right back down to reception and said we wanted to move, receptionist told us the room is fine and lovely and refused to move us. Tired from a long day we went to bed. 8am the next morning we went to reception and demanded to be moved,we were told to come back at 10,then 12, then 2. We were told we need to pay for our room change. We pointed out that we didn’t pay for a family room or a filthy room infested with mould they eventually agreed to change us. The hotel shop keeper Adel was friendly at first. We spent a lot of money in his shop. He offered to take us to sousse for free to stop the locals hassling us. He gave us a ticket for a mini bus and told us to meet him at 10am the next morning. We met him and he shown us to his car(admittedly we shouldn’t have got in!!) he drove like a psycho to sousse and even crashed his car with us in it. When we got to the markets he would only let us go into his friends shops and refused to let us go anywhere else. We didn’t want to get back in the car with him and was planning on eating in sousse so we politely told him we would meet him back at the hotel as we wanted to have food. He shook our hands and left. Later that evening, infront of a very busy reception Adel come to us screaming at us saying “you are not f**king English!! You are Russian, you have cost me money and upset my family and friends not buying in there shops,I have an accident in car and it’s all your fault” amongst other revolting insults. I told Adel he didn’t need to be rude and he was not getting anywhere speaking to people like that. He stormed off screaming in his language and pointing at us to other hotel staff and no one stopped him. He made every effort to make me especially uncomfortable for the rest of our holiday. Jimmy sells the excisions for the hotel, when we said it was our first day and we were very tired,he also told us we were not English and must be Russian,so he lost out on money from us as we refused to give him our money. There was a power cut(we presume!) in the hotel we along with the only other English people(a couple) were in reception alone. Everything went black and silent and then out of nowhere people started running into reception shouting in their language with torches. The lady we were with asked “is this a power cut?!” Not a single person stopped to reassure us or make sure we were ok. Given what happened in Tunisia years ago, this was terrifying. We were robbed. 70 dinar, 2 pairs of sunglasses and 2 Ralph Lauren polos. I bought a pair of sunglasses off the shop keeper Adel, after he verbally attacked us,my sunglasses suddenly disappear from our room and end up back on his shelf(remember he was also saying we owed him money). I told reception and they couldn’t care less. I caught this conversation on camera. He told me I must have lost it all outside the hotel. When I asked who else has access to the rooms other that cleaners he snapped at me saying “don’t ever think that,we have had no trouble with house keeping here” The food is revolting. It’s covered in flies. Not suitable for English unless you like sloppy rice for breakfast, fly infested pizza for lunch and mysterious meat for dinner because nothing was hardly ever labelled and when we asked what things were we were just shrugged at. The plates are dirty, the tables are disgusting, you have to hunt for your own cutlery too. Breakfast 7-9 lunch 12.30-2 and dinner 7-9 there is an offer of pizzas at 4 in the shack near the beach but the chef cooks pizzas in the most disgusting kitchen, goes outside for a fag then picks your pizza up with his bare hands to give it to you. Your constantly waiting around for food even though it was disgusting. We ate out 5 nights. The surroundings of the hotel are abandoned, you can’t get to anything without a taxi. Don’t get reception o call you a taxi, they get commission from the taxis, just walk outside and one will eventually drive past. No English music, everything is German or french. None of the animation team spoke in English over the mic so we had no idea what was going on. They are friendly and nice enough but weren’t interested in the English. The only night time show was a fire breathing show and they spoke in other languages throughout. Until, they asked one woman to get on her knees on stage and asked if she could speak English, the woman said not too well. He insisted on speaking in English for this part so “english Can understand” he then pretended to cut this woman’s head off infront of a crowd. Again..considering what happened here this was soooo distasteful and we left because we were so so uncomfortable. So inappropriate and insulting. All posters in the rep area is in different languages not a single one in English. The drinks are vile, all spirits taste like petrol and there is hardly ever anyone in the bars. Beach bar was shut too. Grass by pool is sooo overgrown and riddled with ants. The beds are broken and old and the younger lifeguards are so lazy. The older lifeguard couldn’t do enough for his he was honestly so lovely and amazing!! He is a credit to the hotel and deserves to work somewhere else. When FINALLY checking out we weren’t even asked if we enjoyed our stay it was like they couldn’t wait to get rid of us. We sat in reception fighting off flies and mosquitoes for 40mins. Please please don’t come here! I never listen to fussy people but this hotel was beyond a joke and would hate for anyone to experience what we did.

We had amazing holiday in Neptunia last week~~many thanks to everyone in the hotel, especially thanks to Ala ghozzi who works in the restaurant, he tried best to help us when we been bullied by the horrible reception staff Aref in the first day; many thanks to the amazing animation team-Gany, Pikatcho, Rico, Wayoo, Blaaky, Jecoub, Willy-all of them working very hard to make sure everyone been involved and be happy, they even greeting us everyday in Chinese! Room is amazing too, we booked a seaview room which prooved worthwhile as we can watch sun raising every morning in our bicony. the restaurant staff are very hard working. there are 3 days we need meals out of the normal hours-simply talk to the staff, it never be a problem, they are just friendly, flexible and very helpful. Here is only one horrible story in the first day when we check in: A reception staff named Aref, simply refused to let us check in when we arrive at 12:30 midday, said check in time is 14:00, we need wait. when we ask for check in at 14:10, he then said he is busy we need wait till he got time. So I ask when is the latest time we can check in? because my mum is 72 years old she need rest after long journey, and we need room to change as we still ware the thick clothes when we set off from Newcastle in England! He replyed so rude and arrogant said the check in is FROM 14:00 and not exactly 14:00! if you are not satisfied go to call police! this is my first time visit Tunisia, I thought it was a huge mistake to chose this hotel, I will never come back again. during the 3 hours waiting in the reception area, I literary saw at least 3 customers quarrel with him one of them almost end up with fighting. 2 days afer, this guy was caught for stealing a customer's phone and been immediately fired. which is Justice had been done👍

I was 2 times in Tunezja. 1 time in Sousse and second in Monastir. I met very nice man its chef of animator. His name is Gani and I asked were his works. He told me on hotel Neptunia so I went There with my family. I like so much this hotel and the beach and room and food were very very nice. People from hotel were good and friendly too. We were 2 weeks for this holidays,we liked animation program and we had so much fun and so much relax. We liked animation team and because we knew Gani before we knew that our holidays were very satisfaction for our children. Everybody smiled all The time.I had just a litte big problem with security because when we wanted to go to the beach they said a lot times no. And no smiled to us and didnt speak with us. But the rest of crew like barmans, parachuting and the reception guys were very nice and professional and helpfull. I want to say I know Sousse but when I went in Monastir I can say the Monastir and Hotel Neptunia are the best. I want to say thank Gani for his work-you are The best;)!The rest of the animation and crew of hotel too. Our children were very happy and We will come here again. I recommend this place- You will be happy, You rest and have A really nice Time here:)

Just returned from a family holiday with friends, 5 adults and 4 children. First impressions of the hotel were good, reception staff very accommodating upon arrival. My family of 3 Was taken to our room which upon we thought was a little cramped, over looking the rear courtyard but could see the sea. The air on did not work and seemed to be blowing hot air. We asked for a room change to be told to come back tomorrow. We never got the room changed nor did the air con get fixed for a full 2 weeks hence we had little sleep as the temp was above 32 at night. The all inclusive drinks are limited its either beer, vodka or soft drinks. Some of the bar staff are quite miserable especially on an evening. We took our own pint glasses with us as I had read they only serve in small plastic beakers. Bar is open from 10 till midnight. The wifi is very limited and not strong enough for the people that use it. No air conditioning either in the reception area and the restraunt. The food is mainly very good, served hot, breakfast is eggs or eggs doing fried or omelettes every other day, no toaster which is a shame. The pool area is fantastic, nice pool with slides leading onto the beach, beach is mainly clean with a good range of cheap water sports. Animation team especially Mike,Pikachu and Jacob are fantastic and a credit to the hotel even tho the animation chef seems to be a bit of a bully and there is a large turn over of animation staff. The security on the beach are total creeps watching young girls including my daughter and my mates daughter and asking them for sex. We lost our cool and stopped them going to the beach. From the minute you arrive you are pestered for trips by Jimmy, don't get me wrong Jimmy is a lovely bloke just trying to make a living. The trips were very good value when we decided to book. Adele from the shop is a really nice guy also, he will take you shopping into Sousse but will only take you to his family shops, better I think to get a taxi if you want to explore more. We as a group really enjoyed the hotel overall, Skanes is not a great place to stay as there is nothing there and you need a taxi to get anywhere. Not a lot of English, mainly Russian and German.
