Somewhat walkable

The swimming pool is great. The rooms are very comfortable and maintained thanks to the cleaning staff, WiFi is missing too bad.
The restaurant is ok. Drink machines are not working.
The entertainers are at the top throughout the day!...the best and thank you miss the entertainer.
Only the DJ's music leaves something to be desired, very repetitive over several days. Many recent rboukh tounsi songs are missing. Little reminder, we are in Tunisia, we are customers, we must not be punished for a few people who stay on their chairs, it is not my role to motivate people, and very important, we must never denigrate our community, its origins no matter where we live Mr. DJ without disrespect. All the best.
Thank you to all the staff for this stay. Good luck to them.

The hotel has a new owner and has changed its name from Isis to Iris.
The hotel has been given a very positive makeover with the change. A lot has been renovated and renewed.
This hotel even has rooms for disabled people.
And ramps. Which I think is great, as I am in a wheelchair myself.
We always had clean rooms, beautifully decorated.
The entire complex was clean.
The food was varied and tasted very good.
The service at the meal was top-notch. Courteous and helpful.
There is an ATM in the hotel and an elevator.
A great animation team who really spread a lot of fun.
Big thanks to Maximilian, Mano, Mario and Potchi.
The service at the lobby bar is great, Zaid and his team give you a good feeling of being at ease all around.
There is also Hamza in the hotel who plans activities with you, we booked three excursions and were very satisfied with the service and the service during the tours, especially the Jeep Safari Tour, highly recommended.
The Spar area is also very nice and relaxing.
The complex also has a hairdresser just for women.
There is also a photographer based in the hotel who does a good job. (He was there on excursions and took photos)
The hotel is very careful to make guests feel comfortable.

Good hotel's staff, food, and animation team(Iman, Poutchi, Mario, Pablo, Tchitcho) . The Iris hotel is located in good location, I mean there are many shops, restaurants, 10/15 minutes route to the beach, exchange services. It is located directly to main road.

This hotel is not a 4 star!! The infrastructure shows that the hotel must have earned its 4 stars in the past. But in addition to the fact that several old buildings are dilapidated, the hotel is dirty: cleaning not done daily and done in a hurry: I left a wire on the floor in the middle of the bathroom it did not not moved in 1 week… First evening we arrive the bed is full of hairs on the cushion and the sheet, I ask to change the sheets and I had to insist so that finally I was offered to change rooms, I was given 2 other keys and they let me choose between 1 room located in a corridor without light whose tiles are broken, 1 room where I cannot close the glass door to the terrace and the initial room which is not clean… the bathroom towels were changed once a week despite demand. Toilet paper was not automatically provided even though it was obvious we were out of it. Many ask the reception who makes us special: “give me your room number we will bring it to you”, just a way to make sure you stop disturbing them. Nothing ever happens despite the request, toilet paper repeatedly, we were forced to take the one from the common toilets several times due to the lack of reaction. Bath towels even though we didn't have any at the start of our stay. We had asked for a room for 3 we only had 2 sheets, we had to force to get it we had 1 double bed and a hard armchair without sheets or cushions. Still on the dirt the swimming pool is disgusting, the water is cloudy and at the bottom deposits of clumped dirt which have not moved all week. I put my feet down and the ground slides, with glasses you can see the yellowish deposit at the bottom as well as balls of hair... The all inclusive only allows you to take small glasses and no bottles in the room or fridge, so in the evening no bottle of water and they sell it to you 4x more expensive than the grocery store opposite (1 minute walk) The buffet is not good and not at all varied, the same dishes at each meal... mostly starchy foods and the drinks machines don't work. The staff, especially at reception, are unpleasant, do nothing to help you or inform you when you have a problem (wifi outage, no water for 1 morning, cold water throughout the stay, etc.). We arrived at 11 p.m. on the first day following our flight, on the phone the receptionist told me to put food aside for us, when we arrived we were told that the hotel does not do that and has nothing to give. And don't expect a television, it's a cube dating from the 90s for a 4-star hotel in 2023.. The hotel is abandoned… on site the other guests complained to us after their disillusionment on arrival.

Oh dear ! What was this hotel? Seriously, the Iris, a four-star hotel? Let me tell you, December and the rooms as cold as a freezer, it's impossible to relax even when dressed to the teeth. The floors of the rooms without covering, a real walking fridge.
The TV, of rare antiquity, with only four channels which have nothing to do with the rest of the world and an image quality that is to cry. Wi-Fi in the rooms? A joke, there's not even a connection. The bathrooms are entitled to soap and shampoo on the first day, according to the cleaning ladies.
The hotel spa? Still closed. As a result, we found ourselves taking showers outside during our entire week-long stay. The music plays loudly until 2 a.m., and in the courtyard of the hotel, no one, apart from two or three individuals from time to time.
And the sound of the doors? Intolerable. Keys from another age that have no place in a four-star hotel. Let's not even talk about the restaurant. Stale bread, cold coffee and milk, and even the water in the carafe is ice cold. Food choices? Restricted to the extreme.
The hotel manager saved us with a portable electric heater in one of our rooms. Honestly, a stay to forget as quickly as possible!

We're here for the new year. Arriving at the reception, we are told that we are given the most beautiful room in the hotel just above the reception. Effectively beautiful room clean and beautiful view of the pool. But we were not informed of the noise of the evenings (music in depth until the first night 1:30 and the second the day before December 31 4:30) it is only the animators who dance. We were offered to change rooms, but based on feedback from the local holidaymakers, we preferred to keep ours and buy earplugs. Among other things, this hotel is a commercial hotel that complements with buses from Algeria and Libya that only come to eat and sleep 1 night. We had the worst Christmas Eve of our lives. People threw themselves on the food, there was not even a plate or tray. Our meal was for us a bit fries and with paid drinks. Great for an exclusive all.. While on some tables the food was spoiled (their habits do not justify everything) we went outside to finish our New Year s Eve. The restaurant, we are really tolerant people and not difficult, but there from the 1st day to the last day of our holiday it was always the same, it was good without more, not too many choices and the tablecloths are dirty. Do not hesitate to put a little more expensive and but a tip avoid this hotel..

We chose this Pension because of the multiple options we had seen and ultimately disappointment... Pros: - close to cities - Beautiful Pension from the Outside - pleasant staff - highly motivated facilitators
Cons: - many things noted not available, wifi that picks up that in one floor, has the beach no snack available only drinks. Food is not child friendly, there is no fruit or yogurt available to snack, meals are often spicy. - the lunch hour is variable, sometimes at 4:30 pm and see at 5 pm even if we queue they stop everything...
- meals are not necessarily representative of the country - high chairs are rarely washed and on request...
-the towels are not always changed nor the sheets. Forced to ask for an extra towel every time for baby.
- the pool closes at 6pm, we force you out, and when we try to go to the indoor pool there were swimming lessons so no place for us...
- the beach is not the most beautiful... not maintained enough....
I find it a shame not to guarantee all the services offered in all inclusive when people save to travel and they are disappointed with their hotel...

The only positives I could find at this Pension: the huge pool and the welcoming and helpful front desk staff who seem to suffer everything else.
The Pension is on the whole obsolete, the furniture seems to be the same for about forty years, and the comfort is felt: the air conditioning does not work and when this is the case it is often the flood given the echoes we have had, the old-fashioned mattresses are spring very hard and not comfortable at all, if you are looking for modern you will look long..
The all inclusive is not one, to our surprise we were told that the water from the fountain (and therefore not even bottled) was limited and paid for (great for my pregnant wife who was refused a glass of water), the cuisine is horrible, and the chef of the service seems airtight at any remark (he clearly lowers the rolls to make it simple).
As for the rest, we're sure of a contradiction. The Inn is dead during the day, the bar is empty, no activity possible (1 pool table and 1 obsolete table football unusable, a ping pong table with torn net) while from 9pm to midnight the entertainers have their solo evenings with the music to the bottom of the balloons (if you have to go to bed early for an outing the next day, forget).
The "FREE WIFI" marked in bulk is unavailable in the rooms and is only available at reception.
The private "beach" is a huge joke. Before you get there you will have to walk 400m (apparently a free carriage is available but if no one tells us we are not supposed to guess) to get to a kind of open air public dump.
In short, the Award may seem attractive. But when you read most of my reviews, you know why.
Don't get fooled and run away, following to pay a little more.

Uncomfortable hotel No wifi No TV Zero animation No elevator Very dirty All inclusive is a scam because you have to pay for bottled water The windows don't close!! Towels do not wipe In the restaurant, there is a company-style coffee machine at the back of the room and a mini water fountain, all for all customers. We drink from plastic cups In short, it's anything but a hotel and even less a 4 star Save your money

RUN AWAY! The only positives of this hotel are the entertainment team, the food for a so-called restaurant is closer to a school canteen, a swimming pool where every day a child does his needs in unevacuated pool the holidaymakers continue to swim inside, a very cold and audacious manager with her employees, the staff is not bad but especially not trained many sadnesses for these staff that you can see at 7am at breakfast serve you and see the same at 10pm rid the “canteen” these staff who are always smiling and welcoming despite everything that I pity. For an inclusive formula, in the middle of our stay we learn that the bottle of water is now paid for while we pay for an “all inclusive” so that we do not have to pay for it. On our arrival, the bed full of hair, the hole in the bathtub full of hair, no fridge in the rooms in a country where the temperature is close to 40, a cleaning lady who knocks at 8am and especially if you do not open the door she enters the room, a TV that even my grandmother does not have. Especially do not trust the photos of the hotel which I think is several years old because it does not look like reality. Really it’s a shame it’s a hotel that is very well placed that has the bases to excel but unfortunately we are not there at all. I don't even recommend to my enemy. What saves this stay are the excursions that we were able to make and the activities, the meeting of Hamza that you can meet in the hotel which knows all the good deals on Djerba and Mehdi and his team who takes care of the Spa who are really very charming people.
