I was at the hotel in June 2024 and will make a summary

Among several hypotheses we chose this hotel for the typical decor and I was very happy for the choice, I loved the hotel.

Room - good beds and pillows, curtains exclude all daylight, which rises at 5 am in the morning, very acceptable bathroom, mini bar is empty, very good cleaning, with air conditioning (our had a problem but technicians quickly solve, in the friends' room was working MT well), the safe tbm lacked battery but was solved.

Staff - The reception staff is excellent always available to help, exchange for dinars can be done at reception without any fee, speak French well and scratch enough English to give information.
The animation is excellent 😃 undoubtedly the hotel's best bet are more than a dozen animators who from 9:30 a.m. to 00:00 a.m. do not stop a second, the night shows are made by themselves who strive a lot to please the children and adults.

All inclusive - you can eat something for breakfast from 3am to 6am and from 6am to 10am full breakfast, coffee is good, there is always fresh bottled water available in boxes to take.
Lunch in the main restaurant and the beach restaurant with a lot of salads, pizzas and pasta and for those who like cuscuz and the like will not have any problem (the food has no salt but can add to taste).
Dinner in the main restaurant and the 2 thematic (these with prior booking at the reception).
Alcohol is not their strength ⁇ red, rosé and white wine always available but very weak. Beer is not bad and white drinks are drunk... I recommend bringing a glass of stainless steel to keep the drink fresh (the ice is not abundant, and the glasses are plastic only passed by water).
Some confusion in the meal time, if it is late hours, sometimes lacks dishes and cutlery but I think it was due to the start of the seasonal season, I arrived on June 15 at the end of the week already see better organization.

At the beach and rooftop disco the drinks are paid.

I always felt safe and loved the holidays 😃 I recommend the hotel for those who go with an open mind, it is not a 5 stars but I have nothing to complain about.

Personally, I would never recommend the island of Djerba if you are a fan of tours or beautiful lush landscapes.... Arrival at the airport, it is desert , ugly and especially very dirty everywhere outside. To think that people throw their garbage out the windows, it's sad and it's scary... The slogan "Djerba the Dirty" would work better , there is a lot of garbage and old rubble everywhere. On the other hand, if you want sunshine and a beautiful beach, stay at the Pension with beautiful facilities in family relaxation mode. Pension Meridiana is nice. We are talking about a Family Inn with entertainment for families, beautiful pools. Forget if you are a certain age or you do not like children or music by the pool... the Pension s highlights: the sun, everyone speaks French, beautiful (hot) pools, beautiful beach directly linked to the Pension , Pension clean inside, basic and functional room with a very large bed but mattress a little hard for us, varied food there is something for all tastes, very pleasant staff and who does his job. Many activities for young people (darts, ping pong, yoga,...with animators) the animators are there but do not force to participate. Points to improve: Reserve the restaurant à la carte as soon as you arrive because you need a waiting period of at least 5 days in high season! Cocktails are passable but not ouff... Sellers at the beach and for Things to do in the Pension are harassing. Things to do very touristy jet Sky style or quad biking around the island but frankly not want to see the dilapidated scenery and filth everywhere and excursions to midoun people continually push to buy and it is drunk... The deckchairs are taken early in the morning so you have to land where there are still seats. Children’s ice cream is paid for in the afternoon. A lot of seaweed on the beach and in the sea at times (it is not very nice but we know nothing to do). We had a location away from the pool and it was better time... Things to do and music can be a little loud at times near some rooms (this was not our case). No service between 10h30 and 12h and from 14h30 to 16h contrary to what was sold to us in the all in announcement but we did not die and we ate well. The snack buffet from 4 to 6 pm is average. The pool closes quite early I find 18:30 max. Apart from that, we had a great family stay in the Inn.

Very clean hotel (common and external premises) and well managed. The rooms, although having insufficient lighting, are welcoming, clean and spacious. The bathrooms are also very clean but lack lighting as well. Daily change of towels and change of sheets at least once a week.
The buffet is varied and of good quality.
The staff is overwhelmingly friendly (thanks to Foued at the reception bar who always has a smile and a friendly note).
The All inclusive is correct (of course fruit juices are medium and alcohols are local but sodas are brand). You can have branded alcohol for a small fee.
The beach was cleaned up just after a strong gale that had brought a lot of algae, which was not the case with neighboring hotels.
Be careful, in addition to the deposit, beach towels are charged (5 €/ week).
In conclusion, I will come back!

The Inn itself is fine and so is the infrastructure but the service is deplorable and the amenities of the all inclusive too. The staff is overwhelmed and they have no organization, we had the Impression of arriving at the opening of the season and not mid-August. I list below the negative elements noted:

It is not a true all inclusive: to pay the safe of the room, beach/pool linens + deposit request, pressed orange juice (undrinkable juices offered).
Deposits have to be paid cash and the ATM was broken down on arrival so it was not possible to have our linens on the first day while we arrived at the Pension very early in the morning.
Only one room card offered
The drinks included are served in mini cardboard glasses which are thrown on the floor and which you will find throughout the Pension.
No zero coca for example, no "sympathetic" cocktails, only mixed fruit juices.
The waiters were completely outdated, tables not undefeated or ready at the time of service, we made our table ourselves by picking up our cutlery and changing the tablecloth. They were busy serving the liters of drinks they offered and it was a big mess because if you wanted a glass of coca they would drop a liter of coca on the table.
Lack of glasses, cups, coffee machines still out of order.
Very little shade on the terrace of the restaurant and not at all on the terrace of the pool snack which had no umbrella.
The perimeter of the pool very dirty, the straws lying around, the cardboard glasses on the floor, the disgusting deck chairs that deserve a good shot of karcher.
Several times we mentioned that there was poop in the paddling pool while there are guards and no "big" cleaning was done after removing it. The last few days, we have forbidden our 3-year-old son to go because not convinced of the hygiene of this basin.
The kitchen was really not worthy of a 4 star, very monotonous and not good. No description of the dishes was offered so we did not know what dishes were offered, everything was in sauce and fat with lots of frying. For example, pizza was made without tomato sauce.
At 11:30 a tractor was combing the sand of the beach while the beach was crowded. Everywhere we went, the beach was made in the morning very early before tourists arrived.
Reception people not very friendly and accommodating.

The positive points were:
The room well located garden side on the ground floor and of correct size to be 4.
The hosts very friendly.

Hotel does not correspond to the designation, small and dirty beach towels, paid safe, poor cleaning done with a dirty mop that smells of piss, no light in the room, mattress not thick at all, towels not clean, leak water on the ceiling of the toilets, reception not responsive we have the impression of disturbing as soon as we arrive they speak in Tunisian even though they speak French very well, beach chairs you have to give a ticket otherwise no chair, restaurant room is a canteen!!!! no entertainment there are no entertainers, no coca cola no Schweppes for the aperitif no sparkling water no draft beer only in small cans very often not fresh!!! only positive point the sea!! I cried when I arrived and I cried with joy when I left, too bad, great potential to be developed

We are regulars in Djerba and had the choice to spend a week holiday in this hotel following the many positive reviews. The record is mixed. We loved the decor of the hotel and the outdoor pool. On the other hand, in terms of catering, it was beef: poor quality meat, poorly presented dishes (canteen type) without taste and redundant. Paying orange juice in the morning when we were all included. Ditto for aperitifs: there was a menu for guests in all inclusive but if you wanted to have a mojito for example, it was for a fee?At meals, we could have wine (by the bottle) but it was tasteless. On Christmas Eve, we chose a wine but we had to pay for the bottle??? The staff was mostly friendly; the animation team too, except some who never said hello when we met. On the bedroom side, we were restricted on toilet paper (cigarette leaf) and cleanliness not always at the appointment. We do not recommend this hotel and we do not understand that there are so many positive reviews!

with my friends we stayed 7 nights at the meridiana we liked the very well stocked buffet, the pool entertainment during the day, the 30 minutes of ballroom dancing in the evening and less of the boom boom afterwards. on the other hand the rooms from 8175 to 8180 with view of a large pile of rubbish and the garden without grass, my sink was broken and the mechanism failed, the toilet wall was bricked up in a grotesque manner, the paint overflowing on the doors and the safe out of battery (room 8180) the average beach with algae and semi/buried pipes and stones on the edge
the all exclusive drinks are disappointing, tasteless cocktails, the martini and the ricard are not free, the amber rum is nowhere to be found, however the Bacardi rum is available, but not free! look for the mistake? in the evening to have a good table at the edge of the slope, you have to "water" the waiters they put a bottle of wine on the table to spot and you are sure of your table. the entertainment at the theater is zero, since they are the afternoon entertainers. On the other hand, there are lots of deckchairs. Bring your towels, because it costs money.
we will return to DJERBA, but to another hotel a few kilometers away with a fine sand beach as far as the eye can see and a swimming pool of the same style.

We chose Welcome Méridiana to celebrate our daughter's birthday with different activities from the south of France and the least we can say is that the Pension bears her name:) We arrived around 1am at the Pension and the manager was waiting for us! Meal plates had been prepared for us:) Ultra fast check-in and upgrade to a room overlooking the sea (we can say the holidays start well!)
Clean bedding, spacious room and bathroom, and what about the view!!
Breakfast is plentiful with good quality products. The staff is friendly and cheerful. The large animation team, multilingual and very close to customers. Nothing wrong
Meals are of very good quality with a choice (continental or more traditional) and can be enjoyed indoors or on the large terrace.
For the exchange, the Pension welcome is advised, contrary to rumors, there is almost no difference with I don't know which bank downtown 20 minutes by taxi!!!
There are all the time entertainment for young and old, heated pool, private beach and for a modest cost (you can negotiate) you can enjoy activities (horseback, quad .. ) or outings (boat, sahara .. )
The city center is 15/20 minutes by taxi, its church, marina, Spanish fort, its souk where it is good drag (Tunisians talk to you but without aggression)
The Meridian Pension is well located, clean and friendly staff
My daughter gilded her birthday vacation and this is the most important to me:)

Pension is quite large, clean and functional single rooms with good bedding. We were staying in the 1 floor bungalows a bit away from the noise and on the ground floor to have a terrace and direct access to the room especially as the elevators do not work. Breakfast like all meals are quite repetitive but really very varied choices over 8/10 days. I loved the donuts for breakfast and taste!.
The main pool is nice, crowded without more. We need more. Well the deckchairs bah it's all in the title....
The beach with deckchair and umbrellas is nice with its bar and the adjoining lunch restaurant. In the evening there is dinner of the world but it remains nevertheless quite quiet and friendly apart there also everything is in the title.....tails, reou and beaufs!!!. But good with family like us or friends it passes but I think in couple or in unbearable select committee. After the nice but very very average evening shows. 11:00 finitto. The youngest can leave the Pension find a taxi (not easy) and go bowling in a club (there are only guys!!!!) See at the local casino with games and machines from another time....otherwise the room safe is paid 8€/week. Bring his beach towel otherwise loc their towel too small for 5€/week. For excursions a jet ski outing is to do the parasailing c well but too short too fast you see nothing! Too bad. And finally do not make the pirate ship c an outright scam called tourist trap. In detail you take a boat full of tourists to finally take you to a rotten beach accompanied by a simplistic meal of canteen with also an animation and atmosphere at 5pt beauf. Want back we think we're only good at the Pension despite these 4 stars!
