Beware of tourist tax scam at reception
Several friends paid the tourist tax and when they checked out they said that they did not receive the tourist tax. Fortunately, they kept the receipt that they requested on the day of payment otherwise they would have had to pay the tourist tax twice. One of their employees keeps the guests' tourist taxes and he mentions to the hotel that you have not paid so be careful to demand a receipt for the payment of the tourist taxes and above all keep this receipt until the end of the stay because at check out they will ask you for the tourist tax a second time. Instead of claiming the tourist tax on the last day, it would be better to claim it on the 1st day or during the stay and not at the end of the stay.
Agent not attentive enough, they want to get rid of you as quickly as possible without providing any solution to your problem.
Restaurant
In the morning, a thin young man with glasses, in his twenties, is very unpleasant, rude and disrespectful. He removed his number with his name so as not to be identified but with the description, his identification is made. In addition, her apron is dirty, hygiene needs to be reviewed. In addition, he throws the eggs at you on the plate, which breaks the egg yolk not to mention that it breaks the egg yolk during cooking. No respect for the egg and the customer.
The food is not good: very bad taste and poor cooking, vegetables and meat are not cooked.
Hot dishes are cold and cold dishes are hot.
Room cleaning
Very poorly cleaned room, a certain BOUCHRA, she operates in building 3, is very unpleasant in addition to being noisy, rude and disrespectful to the customer.
Bar
WAEL is very unpleasant with customers, he hides as soon as he sees a customer. He is only concerned about tips and looks down on and discriminates against customers.
Animation
No animation, the animators do nothing, the male animators spend their time flirting with young girls and old women.
They don't do their job and are paid to do nothing. They benefit from the hotel by providing no added value.
Cold outdoor pool, slightly heated indoor pool but always occupied by Tunisian women's associations.

Catastrophic chamber configuration!
Our room communicates with the neighbor’s room, a simple locked door separates guests from the inside.
The room is not at all soundproof it is unbearable we hear all discretion.
In the floors impossible to rest, in the corridors the passage of the maids begins very early
(advice: remember to put the sign on the door “do not disturb” otherwise they will go into your rooms of 8am)
The maids do a difficult job , yet they always smile a kind word, special attention , they are very meticulous and the rooms are cleaned every day with care but not at all discreet .
The condition of the rooms is to be reviewed wear , complicated drainage of water.
The pool is top and very spacious.
Unfortunately, it is necessary to get up at dawn to have a deckchair , some customers have already “booked” them at 6am! But obviously this is the rule...
The pool bar and restaurant offer drinks all day , I advise against “coca” cut with water .
The waiters are all very smiling and very nice.
The pool restaurant offers a small choice of food but the friendliness of the waiters is largely compared to the second restaurant.
Jasmine restaurant (correct dress required)
Very little diversified food, in 10 days we are offered every day the same thing , not enough choices, no theme night no originality , no fruits except plums and grapes. Always the same fish (undercooked) and always the same vegetables.
Or it'll be pasta, rice, pizza.
The room is way too big and way too noisy.
In the morning take your wallet to have a glass of pressed orange juice you will be charged even on an all-inclusive formula! (A shame)
Animation team with little care for the customers lucky they are there! Too bad they have very little means for shows the level is really low.
The beach is far from the one sold on the site , located about 800 meters from the hotel , you can also go there with the small train.
Dirty beach with an unpleasant smell not far from garbage cans and parking.
Broken deckchairs, aging mattresses...
Overall quite disappointed for a 4 star hotel that surely deserves only 3.
This hotel deserves a 3 or even 2 star but probably not 4. The facilities are aging, not maintained and sometimes even dirty
- the bedroom: bathroom seal coming off against a backdrop of mold.
When I arrived the shower head was leaking I had to ask to have it changed
The rooms are not made before 2/3 p.m., however a team comes to remove the bathroom towels without putting others back immediately. You can therefore go several hours without a clean towel if you have not brought your own.
The same team does not provide bath mats (nice for wet tiles and the risk of slipping with children)
There is no fridge or kettle in the room (which is surprising for a hotel of so-called 4* standard)
- the services: the salespeople who roam the hotel to sell excursions are far too insistent, even aggressive. Sometimes people just need to rest without wanting to be bumped into for a 2.5 to 50 hour carriage ride. I will of course spare you the fact that the service announced is not at all that experienced.
The staff is not necessarily warm or welcoming apart from the young people in the entertainment team.
You do not have wifi in your rooms only at the reception
- The catering: correct overall but not very varied.
Lots of queues each time at the stands where there are the most requests: omelettes, pancakes, grilled meats.
Drinks are self-service or served in plastic cups and given the general appearance of the hotel one can doubt the hygiene of these.
An element of the table setting is systematically missing: salt/pepper, glasses or cutlery, so you have to ask for it each time.
The team sees you walking around with a stroller and in almost a week, no member offers to bring you a high chair
I won't go back there. Certainly the price is suitable for 1 adult and 2 children under 12 years old but at the same price I have stayed in better hotels in Tunisia.
I do not recommend this hotel.
Top entertainment, Calou, Djambo, Mario and the others are great. The pool is very clean, although the deckchairs are a little old but who cares, we're in the sun. The staff at the restaurant are very friendly and attentive, however the reception staff are not always smiling but not too important.
The housekeeper who cleaned our room was lovely and very helpful.
Value for money, nothing to complain about.
A little advice to stay quiet, ask for block 3 or 4 on the pool side, the hotel behind is very noisy.
We hope to return there as soon as possible or at least next year for sure.
The food was quite monotonous, mostly tasteless. Very nice waiters opening a bottle of wine for dinner and lunch in front of the guest.
Hotel Wi-Fi available in the entire common area. Beware of rooms facing the street, the smell coming from the cafeteria lingered on all my clothes.
A big plus for the animations - live music and an unforgettable piano party.
I would really like to praise the animator from the Rainbow office - Basia, who kept a smile on my face. He is a very nice and open person who will certainly help with any need.
The rest of the animators also tried to be there for the guests, but you could feel the great control and constant presence of the animation manager.

-the hotel and the rooms are dark and dilapidated
- let's talk about the all-inclusive buffet, it is mediocre, food not varied, and without flavors, presentation which does not make you want anything
- all inclusive formula is registered, only on site we are made to understand that it is limited, people serve ice creams to limit, the same for drinks, pancakes and donuts. Not enough quantities for the number of people, often the answer is (there are more)
-drink, not fresh and undrinkable
- let's talk about the snack: two donuts, three biscuits and a pizza that fight for 200 people, unheard of
- heavy atmosphere, little entertainment and very average hotel atmosphere
- dilapidated rooms, cleaning to be reviewed, a mop and change of papers, no bath towel for baby and on top of that they are collected in the morning then clean ones are only available from 4 p.m. never seen before
-large outdoor swimming pool and beautiful indeed, but not clean at all! No cleaning carried out, unhygienic indoor swimming pool (used by city schools at certain times of the week in high season)
-requesting a bottle of mineral water for the room is complicated, the impression of asking for a bottle of alcohol - incredible!
-uncomfortable bedding and stained sheets
-last point that I almost forgot, the beach! But which beach? Small train to drop us off there, positive point, we still need to find space. Small train: there and back every 30 minutes. Private beach, never seen before, 30 deckchairs wandering on a 300m2 footbridge and an aljeco-type wooden cabin as a break area with a water bottle and a fanta - really a big joke.
The only positive point is the spa and wellness part, massage very well done, clean spaces and serious people.
To conclude, everything needs to be reviewed in this hotel, the 4 star is not deserved. The reseller agencies of this hotel should review the quality charter before offering it. A surprise visit by the agency in charge of tourist hotels is to be carried out urgently.
Dear travelers, don't make the same mistake as us! Do not take this hotel and read the reviews carefully before!
But the worst unpleasantness happened to me at the reception. My fiancé - a Tunisian - was supposed to come to me in order to provide the necessary documents. Due to the full occupancy of the hotel, he could not rent a room. Nevertheless, due to the long journey (about 600 km one way), I wanted him to spend at least a few hours with me in the swimming pool for a fee (so that he could rest a bit before returning). I specifically asked the day before if it was possible. I was informed that there is absolutely no problem with the payment. Imagine my surprise when the next day I wanted to pay for his stay at the swimming pool and I found out that no, because no (I honestly got the impression that the problem was that he was Tunisian and not any other reason for refusal). In the end, we had to move to the beach to be able to spend at least 2 hours together and talk. So, despite many pluses, I was left with a huge distaste after this hotel...
