Stay here quite a while ago. Really great staff. They make the place very special indeed. The only negative was the air conditioning. We had to have someone in to fix it twice. But other than that it was an excellent stay at a deceproperty.
This is a 3-star hotel so don't expect 5-star installations. But what you'll get is worth spending the money for relaxed beach holidays. Friendly staff, simple but convenient and well maintained rooms, excellent food (no lobster or angus steak though in that category) with plenty of dishes, lots of them local. Many russian tourists but various from western countries too. Mostly families - so lots of children. Music from 10 till 24, in times too loud. Animateurs trying to entertain you - in a nice way - but will leave you alone if you want. Great beach, just foodsteps away. Go for it! We will again soon...
Very bad animation Very bad AC Very bad Parking Very bad launch I think this hotel is bad choose for holiday . I think this hotel we can give it only 2 starts. The most thinking is the bad lunches . Bad hotel
I spent a week at Cedriana Hotel at the end of April 2019. This hotel is a proper 3 star, but most facilities are in need of repairs. It looks as if there were no proper refurbishments since the ’90s. The bathroom we had in our room really wasn’t looking good (broken tiles, rusty water taps, some water dripping from the toilet, etc.), but it was clean and everything was working ok. I enjoyed the beds as they have very firm materaces. The bed linen and towels were clean and smelled nice. Forget about watching TV in the room. They have only a few channels (a couple of Russian, German, French, and Arabic). The quality of the picture is below any reasonable standards. Just forget about TV! The staff is very nice and helpful. I could easily communicate with most staff using English or German (I heard them speaking Russian as well, I assume they all speak French as well... and Arabic of course). The animation crew is always there to entertain the guests. The hotel is being kept clean to an OK standard. There is some dust in the storage in the room, nobody picks up cigarette butts left near the pool for a couple of days, occasional stains on the napkins in the restaurant… you know… that kind of stuff, but nothing major. The food at the restaurant (the all-inclusive option) was just fine. I think there was something for every taste. I especially enjoyed the beef stew and turkey. The beer they serve is OK. You can also buy Heineken, Becks and one local brand called Celtia in cans and bottles. They also serve some drinks and spirits, but I didn’t try them. Right next to the hotel is a shop, where you can buy water and soft drinks, snacks, clothes, and souvenirs (no alcohol). The beach is approx. 300m away from the hotel. You need to cross the road and follow a path to get there. The path is only open between 8am and 6pm! The beach itself is crap… there is no bar at the beach. I believe it has been demolished (I never asked). They have approximately 10 umbrellas there and it looks like they are borrowed/rented from the nearby hotel. They serve some drinks from a shed at the beach. So… technically they have a beach belonging to Cedriana hotel, but it does not look as nice as on the photos. I think they may be planning to rebuild the bar next season… just guessing here. There are public bars at the beach not far away, if you are interested. There are two pools at the hotel. One outdoor and one indoor (not counting the pool for the water slides). The pool inside was particularly interesting in April as the water there was warm. Water in the pool outside was refreshing, to put it gently… lol. The deepest point in the outside pool is 1.70m. Water in both pools was clean. If you are into sports, you can play tennis there - they have two courts - surface is concrete. Bring your own rackets and balls - their's are not good at all. You can also play pétanque... there are also fields to play football, beach volleyball, archery... there is also minigolf. Internet is available only in the bar area and it isn’t very good. I’d recommend buying a SIM card (available in many local shops) and using mobile internet instead. I myself purchased an Orange card with 25GB of data to use for 45 dinars (there are cheaper options too – fewer data/other operators). It was working just fine for me. I was getting speeds of approx. 60Mb/s in my room! Check out the photos I attached. They should give you a good idea of what to expect from this hotel. As you can imagine the price for a vacation at this hotel wasn’t high, so overall I enjoyed staying there and I wouldn’t mind at all to visit Cedriana Hotel again in the future!…
Very nice hotel with nice people at your service. At the lobby educated people that speaks different languages. The cleaning lady surprises us every day by making up the bed.in a spevial way. Good and different kind of food at every meal with good waiters that remembers the guest and their preferences. The most remarkable was the animation team. The will delight you with music, dances and also individual conversation
Good hotel, all the employees are very friendly and the animation team is very fun. Food is good too. Only problem is April-May Djerba is very windy still though. But that's not there fault. And Lorenzo is the best dancer
I booked on line for 5 persons of my family. I arrived at time of check in, the reception told that he has no any booking on my name. when i showed him the code confirmation on line he tried to contact his boss, he said that his mobile is off and we have to wait untill his boss answer. after hours of wait the boss also rejected our booking and we spent a long night looking for another hotel. the more painfull thing that the hotel has taken the money, i complained and untill now i am waiting my bank to refund my money back. this was a very bad memories for me. this is a garbige and dirty and unconfortable hotel, even i found a better hotel with too much less price .
A great 3 stars hotel especially if you are with family and wanna have fun and enjoy a relaxing stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful all smiley, the rooms are not luxurious but still clean and very practical for the essential things, sleeping, showering and all ... The animators are very resourceful and will do whatever they can to put you in the mood to have tons of fun, from water games to archery tournaments, the kids will also love the toboggan and the kids club. The food is great as well, you just feel like welcomed everywhere you go in the hotel. I would recommend it for families singles and couples. A very enjoyable stay.
Grabbed some cheap flights so took a chance on this hotel. Kids loved it. Genuine friendly staff made my kids holiday one to remember . No hassle grabbing a taxi to town n sufferred none of the usual harrassment u get as a white female in arab countries. Felt so safe even took my daughter into town whilst dad went back to the hotel in taxi. Mega friendly island all round and u feel like u have gone back in time..to how tunisia was before tourists arrived. Hate to see it change. Hotel food was always tasty n kids didnt complain which was a first..they would always offer to throw some nuggets in the fryer for kids but tbh my children enjoyed trying out the buffet and became more independant. Normally i watch my kids like a hawk but in this hotel it felt safe watching them go off to the kids club to paint and staff always guarding them well despite language barrier. Excellent hotel.…
Stayed here for 7 nights... welcomed with a drink and lots of smiles.. food was lovely..clean rooms.. staff were brilliant .. weather fantastic.. tunisia is a beautiful place.. i would go back here tomorrow.. thankyou to everyone at this hotel.. made some lovely friends.. claire - uk
