I was in Tunis for the first time, I couldn't imagine it. The first impression was strange, misery, dirt. I even had mixed feelings about the hotel. The non-participation of our delegate also contributed a lot to this. That was probably the biggest problem, but the hotel was not to blame. There was plenty of food, both fresh vegetables and meat and various sauces. It is true that on the first days, everything was very hot and only baguette could be chosen for the children. Later it got better and even the spaghetti was not hot. Right after our arrival, we got 1 less bed, but everything was fixed the very next day. The room was clean and new towels every day. It is true that some dinar was needed. And the animators? They were great, they tried to make us have fun every day. But it's true that if you don't get involved and you don't want to make it pleasant or you're negative, then nobody will do anything to you. And the overall impression... beauty, I enjoyed it to the fullest, I found out how they live elsewhere and I have a lot of beautiful experiences. After all, vacation should be enjoyed. When you are nice to others, they will reciprocate 😉❤️.

I really enjoyed it there. The first look was shocking to me, I mean the room and the dining room. We got 2 rooms with 2 beds even though we are a family of 5. The very next day everything was resolved and everything was in perfect order. What I would definitely add stars to this hotel were the animators. Everyone was nice and always attended to us. One was nicer than the other. I mainly mean Mane, Fifi, Toto and I'm not sure about the last name Dali. I really liked Mane there. But I don't want to offend anyone with this.

I do not recommend!
This hotel is not so pricey and good for a family holiday but of course it has its ups downs.
Starting with ups, reception was very nice. We didn’t wait much in the check in and our rooms were almost already ready before 12pm. The pool was very clean and somehow warm and some of the stuff were fun and friendly. The shower water was warm so that’s an up too! The beach was so clean and warm! IT’S SO GOOOD~
The downs are much more lol. The rooms were awful, we found a lot of insects ( we didn’t take pictures but there sure was and trust me it can be terrifying and disgusting!!!). The toilets didn’t have toilet hose (flexible/touyo) and my parents’ room toilet had an issue where it doesn’t work well so it always smells bad. We told the reception and it took them more than a day to send a plumber, so they had to stick with us until it got fixed. The food was ok but not varied enough, some was just tasteless. Soft drinks machine in the canteen wouldn’t work most of the time and sometimes there was no cups for water or drinks. Most of the stuff only care of the tourists. I understand that they want better tips but don’t treat those who are not from France or Germany badly, at some point one of them wouldn’t allow us to sit next to the window claiming it’s for a tourist? GIVE ME A BREAK LOL! Another issue that no one m would tell until you already pay, it’s true that there was no direct access to the beach, but the hotel has its own private beach ( even tho it’s shared with another hotel). Why would it open at 8am and close at 6pm?! I mean come on, with this temperature and humidity it’s so hot during the day so you can only swim by sunrise or sunset, right? It just makes no sense to me !
Other downs, there was no fridge in the room, not enough towels, you can only get water in cups and buy bottles (expensive)
Overall, i wouldn’t recommend!

I really do not recommend this place. It was dirty, I was afraid of a weird cleaner, who did not respect my privacy and red sign on hotel room door "do not enter". He forgot his charging phone in my room and did not refill the toilet paper, although he was changing my towels every day (every towel, even if I had my swimming suit on it). Everywhere was dirty (dishes, tables) and the restaurant did not work properly (some days they didn´t make snacks etc. and nobody knew why). The receptionist did not inform themselves - my door did not work to open because of the bad batteries and during 24 hours there was not any repair. I was really disappointed but met a great tourists there at least! :)

Returned yesterday from Djerba, stayed at the cedriana resort hotel for one week all inclusive. We have rated the hotel very good but if it wasn't for the lack of entertainment ( as hotel had only just opened it's doors for the season ) and the very poor English the staff spoke it would have been excellent! Food was fantastic, something different everyday. We basked in 35-40C sunshine everyday, very tanned! maid service was good, free kayak on beach, water slides and numerous activities for cheap if you want to take part. Sand buggy / quads is a must if you get a chance, but always haggle the price! Cheers!

Another 2 days left of our holiday the room is great, the hotel is great the food is great, the staff are great but the night time entertainment is the poorest we've come across. Day time is great, club for kids loads of the staff entertaining in and out of the pool. Very friendly people but again I'm sorry night time entertainment is utter rubbish! Private beach is great, security great sea turquoise blue... would come back if they sort out the entertainment for us British. Sort the entertainment out and it'd get a good from me.

Had a wonderful 1 week holiday here with my partner and his parents, food was amazing something different to try everyday and something for every palate loved the beach and expecially the all inclusive bar on it, plenty of activities to do like quad biking, paragliding, jet skiing, camel riding ect ect for an extremely cheap price I spent £85 the whole holiday and did 7 activities. Everything was clean the pool was lovely and big they also had some great slides at the hotel. You could book in for spa treatments for cheap prices full body massage was about £15 but you can haggle them down. Only a few things that let it down was their was no evening entertainment when we went as they had just opened for the summer so they were in the middle of sorting it all out but we didn't mind to much as it we were so tierd from all the day time activities
All staff were lovely apart from the bar manager who was extremely rude and seemed very annoyed everytime you went to order drinks and made you feel uncomfortable but luckily he wasn't always serving. And one more thing if you do go here buy your own big beer glass or mug as their glasses are far too small so your constantly going up for drinks. But don't let that put you of as we had one of the best holidays we have ever had! Would definitely return

We read the reviews before booking and decided it was a calculated risk, in fact most package holidays are. However we had visited Djerba twice before (x refer Vinci Hellios Beach) and had thoroughly enjoyed the island. So we went ahead with this aware of the adverse comments, including those highlighting cleanliness, or the lack of.
The hotel is not dirty, and is cleaned every day, but it looks dirty because it is such a run down, tatty, worn out, even decrepit in parts, building. Whoever carried out the original painting and tiling should be horse whipped, but they have probably died of shame long ago.
I am advised the place will close at the end of October for refurbishment, long overdue, it needs gutting, and given a total overhaul, including new furniture, fixtures and fittings.

The food is generally pretty good, except breakfast where choice is limited, but no real cause for alarm. The bar staff can go from being very good to being very bad, to the point of insulting within 5 minutes, dependent on their mood at the time.

The beer is served in egg cup sized glasses, often not even filled up, and loses its head within a millisecond of pouring, and has the kick of fortified water, I did discover that indeed this is the case because it is diluted, not just at Cedriana, but all over Djerba. You have to pay 3.50dt, about £1.45 for the bottled stuff but it is worth doing so towards the end of the evening just so you actually know you have consumed alcohol. A quick word about the local whisky which looks like, and has the texture of watery treacle, tastes like cough medicine, and seems to have a kick like a geriatric earwig, do not be fooled, as it can, taken to excess do horrible things to your head and digestive system! So far not too good.

BUT, the place as The X Factor, an ambience, a fantastic atmosphere, a camaraderie among the guests.

We where the only British passport holders there, and for me this is always a bonus, the other guests were primarily French with some Germans, Russians, Libyans, Tunisians and Italians thrown in. It would appear the occupancy was only about 50% whilst we were there so everyone got to know everyone quickly and one made a lot of friends, excellent!

Then the animation team, as previously reviewed are superlative, friendly (and genuinely so) funny (sidesplittingly so) professional and just damn good company. They make this place very special.

So as a hotel it is two dots tops, as a holiday experience it is 5+ dots. When re-opened in May it will be one of Djerba's best hotels, if the management can sort out the surly barmen and instigate the serving of undiluted draught beer in half litre glasses, improve breakfast to include some sausage and or bacon, keep the food a tad hotter, and maintain the quality of clientele.

Overall a god trip!

Hi no there are no beach/pool towels provided at the hotel. But theres a shop in the hotel and one next door that you can buy some from for cheap enough if you don't have a lot of luggage space.
