The beach was the cleanest and most beautiful beach we have seen here in Djerba.
The overall package suited both of us.
the animation was well planned for the day, something for everyone.
We also wanted to do activities outside of the hotel, unfortunately we fell for the sale here, dealers kept coming to us and wanted to sell us tours, they literally pushed it on, especially with the sentence that they from
hotels are. They are not! Please be careful here, so that you don't pay three times as much, book tours directly through reception, not through dealers on the beach or who say they belong to the hotel.
Great experience: first days our WC was leaking, we reported it to a receptionist and almost immediatelly came the plumber and fix it.
Food and services were perfect, we really enjoyed a traditional Tunisian dinner in the a la carte restaurant.
We stayed in a Bungalow. House 1 overlooking the sea.
On arrival we were warmly welcomed, the check in was straightforward, no waiting times to move into the room.
The only drop of contempt.... Help center with luggage towing upon arrival from the bus to the hotel would have been nice.
Our room was very clean, sanitary facilities top cleaned.
That was the case the entire stay. The staff member in charge of our room always had a kind word on their lips, our beds were lovingly decorated with towel figures, decorated with flowers.
It is worth noting that the entire staff no matter if restaurants, pool, reception or gardeners were always very friendly and accommodating.
The food offer, morning, lunch and evening was very varied, there was a choice for every taste. Often fish or meat was freshly grilled.
Of course, there were short waiting times during peak hours, but since many foods were freshly prepared , this explains itself.
In the afternoon pizza, crepes or cakes were offered.
Again, pizza and crepes were freshly prepared.
Madi, our pearl by the pool (relax pool), has conscientiously and reliably made sure that the sunbeds were clean and with his calm fine nature allows guests a very relaxing stay.
Madi, we have taken you very much into our hearts. At this point many greetings to you from Philip and his mom.
Even the young man at the pool bar, always with a smile on his lips, knew our drink wishes after a short time. Even before we reached the bar, they were ready.
The pool with animation we cannot rate because we did not stay here.
The beach is a dream. Very well maintained, always enough loungers available.
Sure, the hotel is getting old. But that's exactly what makes the hotel so charming.
The vegetation is well maintained, the gardeners of the complex work tirelessly on it.
It is possible to book carriage rides, quad bike tours, motorboat trips to the dolphins jet ski, banana boat or parasailing on site.
The dolphin ride was great and we also saw a lot of dolphins, very, very close.
Our quad tours were also very impressive.
Nearby there is the possibility to visit the crocodile farm.
A loving, very well maintained park that is worth visiting.
In the morning is the reptile show, with possibility to hold a small crocodile. (don't worry, the mouth is tied).
In the afternoon is the feeding of the crocodiles.
It is recommended to take a taxi as the park is nearby.
By taxi you are quickly in Midoun or in Houmt Souk.
In summary, we once again had a wonderful time in Vincci Helios.
Many thanks to all the staff of the hotel.
Inshallah, see you next year.
NEGATIVE: Essentially the quality of drinks (no fruit juice or powder mixtures or orange juice at 2€ at the PDJ) and meals as well as the replenishment of the buffet far too slow! No organization on this point.
Reservation restaurants are interest-free.
The beach deckchairs are bordering on the unusable... guaranteed backache!
Umbrellas around the pool are in insufficient quantity.
I imagine the galley in the middle of the season because all the infrastructures and equipment cannot satisfy all the customers when the establishment sells out. The main terrace among others is really too small!
Public toilet too often dirty with 1x smell to vomit up in the hallway: the cart in front of the door without the staff is useless! Twice urinating in elevators! The correction of a good part of the clientele leaves much to be desired!
The friendliness of the reception is not always at the rendezvous.
On the other hand special mention to Naim at the beach bar for his kindness and service always with a smile (unfortunately his contract is not renewed, to believe that the Pension prefers to keep the bad elements!) and to Mohammed Rubai who was always very efficient and very friendly at the terrace of the main restaurant. Thank you both, friends!
The manager of the restaurant is, however, execrable!
Chambers: Old but spacious and clean. Lack of grip and brightness. Only one outlet can be used at night because the second one works with the lighting of a small lamp!
Tablet-sized TV, but there are many French channels.
The wi-fi is good.
The SDB is also in its juice but clean and there is pressure and hot water at all times.
We booked a "sea view" which we did not enjoy because we had the noise (hellish blower) of the restaurant facilities located under our balcony.
Too bad that the music of some evenings is exclusively reserved for people from the eastern countries both on the terrace and at the disco.
In summary I do not recommend this Pension there is much better in Djerba for not much more!
The + that must still be left to them is the accommodation for people with reduced mobility.
no evening animations in the hotel amphitheater, I think instead they played music on the terrace by the pool, which was loud and lasted every day until 11-11 pm, which made it difficult for us to fall asleep peacefully, also no air conditioning in the reception, cafe, lobby bar. In the photo you can't enter because you didn't pay enough!!!!
The gardens and swimming pools are well maintained but the hotel is more than aging.
The beach chairs are ready to break.
The rooms are very old with mattresses and furniture more than worn. Cleanliness is far from perfect (thrown towels, bed to be done again, waste under the bed, yellow bathtub, dirty and sticky furniture handles,...)
To wash, only once a week a sample of soap.
As far as food is concerned, it is equally catastrophic. Very little choice, no taste, dirty plates, ...
To have a table in the restaurant you have to give a tip to reserve it or you have to take what is left. Snack at the pool very rarely opened.
We talk about 2 swimming pools including a relax but once there, to have access, we ask you to pay an extra because you need premium access.
We really recommend against this hotel which does not deserve its 4 stars ...
Food delicious, varied and plenty, friendly service👍
The rooms are pleasantly furnished, spacious and always perfectly tidy.
On the balconies I would welcome hangers for drying laundry..
On beach chairs, there could be pads.
The hotel is my heart's desire💖, I will be happy to return here🤗
In the room (bungalow), cleaning is done daily. No missteps.
In terms of infrastructure, the only downside concerns the so-called relaxation swimming pool, supposed to be reserved for bungalows and taken over by other tourists. The security service does not manage this problem and the lifeguard is blocked at the indoor swimming pool so..... Too bad, this is the real downside of our stay.
The location of the complex allows a stroll along the Mediterranean for several kilometers....
To leave the hotel, taxis are available almost constantly and the price of fares is more than reasonable.
The animators are present without being "heavy". A special congratulations to Sam. On the other hand, it would be good to offer a management course to Paola who should not take the tourists as witnesses when she makes a remark to one of these animation collaborators.
The nightly shows are of quality with a big congratulations to the saxophonist for his performance.
The entire staff takes great care of you and you accept to wait a bit whether at the bar or in the restaurant.
Being out of season, there are structures that were not yet open.
I recommend this establishment in Djerba.
