The food was cold and there was nothing good for kids, the workers there were really creepy especially one at the water park who put his toes on my daughters toes then winked at her, asked her age, she has only just turned 13 and asked where she was from. The entertainment was quite good very fun nights planned like kareoke. We got our room upgraded for quite cheep wich was so nice, the pool was nice same with the beach. Mosquito bites are bad and there are stray cats running about the resort. I stayed for a week and I have to say it was resonably well would recommend going just be careful. There’s a very close pharmacy for any misquito bites. Staff were my main probelm just because my teens were getting scared of them. Also one member of the water park staff held a grudge against my 12 year old daughter and she was scared to go back so I had to take her up slides just because she was scared of him.…

The hotel grounds are gorgeous. The rooms are clean and spacious. Lots of fun memories made at the Aquapark and around the main pool. Entertainment team 5*. The food was delicious. Only downsides is that the WiFi did not work in the bedrooms so had to approach lobby to use the free Wifi at any time. Also recommend that the hotel disposes of the table cloths as found these very unhygienic at meal times when service was slow and on a couple of occasions, the table cloths were turned over rather than replaced. I recommend disposing of table cloths where the tables can be disinfected with spray and wiped down after every use. Otherwise a lovely stay at Mahdia, happy to return.

I am not very sure where to start, the beach was amazing, we have always found a place and it was really clean. The hotel itself was pretty good too, room was always clean, the only thing we were not satisfied with was service in restaurant, the tables were messy, there was no cutlery, we had to find them on our own such as we had to clean the tables, there was a hundred of employees but no one noticed us. Animation team was good as well, while there is certainly room for improvement. It was a nice holiday but I do not think we would come back in the same hotel.

Upon arrival desk staff spoke no English, we had to fill in hotels paperwork. Family of 5 and was separated to opposite ends of hotel room 2333 and 220. Staff didn't care. Everyday something was uncooked, wasn't told anything about a la carte until I saw some reviews this morning. If you want beds by the pool you need to be up at 5 with ya towels. This hotel is tailored for Germans, the food selection is so bad. With only 2 bays with warm food inside, a bbq serving undercooked meat outside and a salad bar the choice is none existent. For breakfast it's fried egg on bread not toast. There is no facility for toast at all. Unless you're partial to hotdog sausage in cabbage at 8am!! Oh and if you can't find any cutlery don't dare go and find your own, the waiting staff don't like you crossing sections of the restaurant for this and hide them from you because they're for their customers. Tip them enough though and they'll decorate your table and be all over you. Shouldn't have to do this though in my opinion. One of the lifts was broken all week. The bar staff are seriously rude inside. We came away simply thinking the staff don't like The English and that's a horrible impression to have. Our room was modern but dirty, don't look under ya bed!! Couldn't use the safe, balcony door was broke, room was "cleaned" twice. Had to ask for loo roll 3 times. Sockets and wall panelling hanging off. The view was absolutely terrible but we had the sun in the evening. The pool was nice and had a swim up bar. Entertainers were good and tried to engage everyone. The music at the pool was good. The beach area was nice. The pool bar food, don't eat the kebab it's not cooked!! Everyday we had this problem. Don't know who dishes out the ratings for these hotels but we have been put off Tunisia as a whole. …

The hotel's garden and pool are really like the pictures, nicely landscaped, although the water in the pool is a bit cold and the sunbeds must be reserved by 9, because there will be no room. The beach is beautiful, there are a lot of shells washed ashore, so you have to be careful where you step. Many of the hotel's guests are locals with their typical behavior and habitus. Although the selection of food is many, it quickly becomes monotonous. They don't vary much. For 1 type of breakfast cold cuts for 1 week. Lots of flies are extremely annoying, especially at meals. The tablecloths in the restaurant were always dirty. If you go at the beginning of the meal, there will be a crowd, and there is no guarantee that there will be a free table. The rooms can be renovated, there are a total of 2 sockets in the room, only blackout curtains, no mosquito nets. The tiles move in the bathroom. If cleaning staff do their job, they clean nicely.…
