We are here on family vacation. The hotel is nicely located and we have connecting rooms for our family of five. The Pool is very nice and the beach is also nice and sand you with a soft slope. It is a little bit hard to find something good to eat at the buffet at all the meals. The indoor and one of the outside pools is filled with"thermal"water, which honestly just looks dirty. The spa has fair prices and is decent. It is next to impossible to get cool here, since the fridges in the rooms don't function well and the AC is not very strong. There are almost only broken salt and pepper shakers, and almost all are broken. The usable don't get cleaned fat enough and there aren't enough glasses and silverware... Not a single teaspoon as a matter of fact. Werbefilme is friendly, but the working moral isn't what it should be. Everything takes for ever, or doesn't get taken care of. Several lights in our room and throughout the hotel haven't been functioning for the past art two weeks. Today some kid must have defaecated on the pool side. For more than two hours nobody from staff took care of this, even after it had been pointed out by guests. In the end it was a guest, who cleaned it up (not a parent, or someone related to the incident). All in all I could be giving less than a 3/5.

The hotel is superb. The spacious connecting rooms. Bathroom clean and large enough. The swimming pool is 1m35 at the largest point which allows children to swim in complete safety and the size is great. The catering is varied if you can't find something to eat it means you are difficult. The exterior of the hotel is magnificent and very well maintained. The entertainment team is really superb, they are available for any questions and very close to the children. For a stay in September at the end of the summer season we were delighted with our stay. Thanks to all the staff.

Fifth visit to Zarzis. This time we chose the Zephir hotel. It is a smaller resort. At first, the hotel seemed to us like a maze to find a room, in the end we found the shortest way. The room was always clean, there was enough food in the dining room, there was always ice cream for lunch and dinner, after a week we had lunch at the bar, where there were always fries, grilled meat patties, or liver, meatballs and spaghetti and of course excellent pizza, in the evening they were already weaker animation programs. Otherwise, I recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a quiet vacation.

I was in Zephir&Spa with a group of friends in August 2021. Terrible food (they said it was because of the covid situation- they wanted to save money). Barmans were extremely rude. Some of them didn’t want to sell us some alkohol even though we weren’t drunk and we have all inclusive. (The problem was about our nationality, sad but true. European people are not welcomed). Sorry, but if we paid all inclusive this never should happen. Lots of trashes in the beach. The beach is private so they supposed to clean it but they didn’t. But the worst situation I’ve ever seen in this type of hotel- Tunisian people can buy ‘one day ticket’ for swimming pool for about 2 euro. People from all inclusive don’t have space near the pool and they can’t get snack near the pool because Tunesian people have the same service for 2 euros and there is no place for hotel guests. There was one day we couldn’t be near the people ever for one minute because there was such a crowd. None of hotel guest could!!!! Reception people didn’t help us in this situation. Lots of cockroaches in the hotel space. The only positive here is animation stuff. Guys are doing amazing job. Even though animation were amazing, I do not recommend this hotel. Worst holidays ever.

Mr Director,
We have just stayed 2 weeks in this hotel.
On arrival we were treated to a very cold welcome, not even asking us for our identities, only our reservation document, the slapping of a bottle of water at room temperature with the room key without any accompaniment to it.
The restaurant is mediocre in the dishes offered with a repetitive menu (pasta, rice, vegetables, beef liver 1 day 2 which will make you sick) the repetitive breakfast not much choice, the bread is fresh but we are entitled to that with the traditional Tunisian baguette. If you want to drink a real coffee or have a bottle of sparkling water you have to go up to the 1st floor.
At snack time you are only entitled to pancakes.
The fruits offered are of very poor quality, rotten, very soft, we have the right to the bottom of the hiding place or to the fruits to give to the pigs....
Mr. Director, should we make savings or is this stingy.....
The attitude of some waiters for a 4 star hotel leaves something to be desired...if you are a single woman or with friends you are entitled to a magnificent reserved table with drinks and flowers for decoration...if you give a small ticket it This is the best: your table is reserved for your stay with the added bonus of a kiss every morning...if you are a couple who have gone your way looking for a table, going to get a drink alone and no decoration as a bonus.
The positive point is the setting of this hotel facing the sea with a beautiful swimming pool. The atmosphere of the animators who do a magnificent job but with more than ridiculous means (playing musical chairs at our ages.... or basketball with a trash can as a basket... or downright pétanque balls rusty.... we must stop mistreating the staff like this... What a shame.... if the entertainment team would not be present your hotel would be defunct and abandoned...
Mr. Director, we must react, for us it is certain that we will not return to your hotel, such a bad experience... I will let you think but you must not believe that we are here to shoot you down because really the real points blacks from our vacation we keep them so as not to create discomfort for your next customers..... we just talked about some details of our stay.
Sincerely.

The worst Pension I ever made.
It was the long awaited stay for my family (two children 3 years and 18 months) and unfortunately was the worst
No hygiene, no cleanliness, catering more than none, absolutely unqualified staff to work. A waiter went after our daughter and asked us to pick up on the floor because she put cake crumbs!!
No chef or waiter uses gloves.
Melon kernels are removed by hand without gloves.
Hair in the food.
The coffee maker is often broken down, so nothing to even breakfast except coffee served in a pot and which is horrible.

The food from the day before is served the next day.
The restaurant is not air conditioned. So imagine eating under 35 degrees, just not possible.
No single drop in the dishes.
In short a week that the children do not eat much, sleep in beds that hurt headaches.

The cleanliness of the rooms is not even mentioned. Non-existent!! Ants and bedding with back pain.
Anyway, I'm never coming back to this establishment again, not to say Pension.

I can write pages of it but I prefer to stop there and hope you don’t waste your money on it.

My stay was for 4 days only. The reception and handling upon arrival was quite good.
My reservation was online for a room on the lower floor with a view of the garden. But upon receiving the room, I was surprised by a room on the upper floor that I had not wanted. I discussed this with the man in charge of booking the hotel and he tried to change the room according to what I had in the reservation.
The hotel is quite big but very quiet. As for the room, it was very simple, the furniture was simple, and the room had an unpleasant smell. I contacted the person in charge of the rooms, but he did not find a solution.
As for the food, it was quite good and varied, and the staff inside the restaurant was sure to deal with tourists. Also, the animation group was good.

As a family of four from the Czech Republic, we spent a week at the **** Zephir Hôtel & Spa on July 28. – August 3. 2024. It is rather a hotel complex consisting of several connected two-story buildings, some of which have a view of the sea. Inside the complex there is a very nice articulated outdoor pool with a lot of surrounding palm trees, which are constantly taken care of. The hotel grounds adjoin a beautiful sandy beach with plenty of umbrellas and sunbeds, which are provided free of charge.
We used two double rooms about 80 m apart. Each room is equipped with a balcony, where there is a table with chairs and a small dryer for swimwear. The beds are quite comfortable. We had small, outdated, partially moldy absorption refrigerators in the rooms. Upon arrival, we discovered that one of the refrigerators could not be closed. Since even after 2 days it was not possible to get the reception staff to take any action, I removed the reason why the fridge would not close, myself. The hotel has central air conditioning which was turned off every morning around 5:30am and didn't turn on until after noon. I confess that if we had known that we were going to a hotel that turned off the air conditioning in the high season, when temperatures reached 35-41 °C in the shade, we certainly would not have chosen it. Due to the heated building, we woke up early with heat and sweat. I don't understand, if the hotel was already turning off the air conditioning, why it couldn't leave it running at least until the time breakfast starts at 6:30, when it is absolutely clear that all the guests are in the rooms. It should be noted that neither the hotel reception with the adjacent extensive lobby is air-conditioned. In the restaurant, the air conditioning only worked on some days and only very weakly. In the rooms for the first two days, the air conditioning, when it was switched on centrally, cooled well. After the remaining 5 days, however, the hotel reduced the cooling intensity, so the rooms could be around 27 °C (plus ubiquitous humidity). Basically, the hotel didn't offer any space where you could rest from the heat. The reception staff did not help us in the case of air conditioning either, referring to the fact that the timing of starting the air conditioning is the decision of the hotel manager.
But I would definitely like to highlight the excellent variety of meals and drinks. The hotel operates on the principle of All inclusive, that is, all guests could eat and drink as they pleased. Many types of warm vegetables, various meats and all kinds of side dishes were always available. Also desserts, sliced watermelons and ice cream. In terms of catering, the hotel was absolutely great.

This new 4-week stay at the Zéphyr for a very reasonable price once again delighted us from the first to the last minute! This resort has become a must for us over the years, our second home... this is also the case for many friends of all nationalities whom we meet with pleasure every year. This undeniably testifies to the quality and stability in continuity... What more can we say about this haven of peace whose quality of service, catering, entertainment as well as the privileged location on the beach make this resort a place where many take pleasure in coming back with their eyes closed... Tunisia fully deserves its label as a warm country when you frequent this type of well-kept establishment because each member of the staff takes pride in bringing you joy and satisfaction. Congratulations to everyone and in particular Ismael, Momo, Ben, Tchicho, Bilel, James etc... Looking forward to seeing you again for three weeks in June!

I don’t recommend the hotel. On arrival the reception staff were kept us waiting for an hour. There were three of the reception staff and four guests to check in! One of the staff didn’t want to change my money into Tunisian dinars. He said the exchange rate is bad now, but will be better in the evening. It was not true.
The room is very basic. The air conditioning doesn’t work in the mornings until around 12.
The bathroom is dirty, nobody cleans the mirrors or shower. Old towels that have changed colour from white to greyish.
The food is ok, but nothing special. Small selection of fruit, practically only watermelons and melons. Baguettes fresh only in the morning. Plates and cutlery dirty, the same applies to tablecloths. No fresh juices, no diet versions of soft drinks. Very poor quality coffee in the main restaurant. Better coffee in bars.
Bar and restaurant staff are quite nice and helpful. Reception staff slow and ignore you as long as possible.
No free internet and the one you can pay for is only available in the lobby and it’s very slow.
It is definitely NOT a four-star hotel. I have been in much better three-star hotels so I would give it two stars.
