➡️ Very problematic reception. I had check in in night and there was no light and guy who doesn't speak English. He went with us to the room and tried to show how he is tired with our luggage and said I should to give him 20usd. Another woman at the reception was two times in pajama and she was not nice person. After check out when I waited for my bus she said I should to pay something. ➡️ WiFi is not working good and sometimes is no internet ➡️ all hotel stuff talk in french no English so is super problematic. Only one barman speak well in English and one entertainment guy speak good English other speak 50/50. Other stuff talk in English only few words or nothing. ➡️ hotel is dirty. In my room bathroom was dirty. In reception they have dirty sofas. In restaurant dirty chairs. ➡️ animators looks like tired persons. They tried to do animation but with no energy. ➡️ in the bar still lacking some alcohol and machine for coffee is broken ➡️ pool inside is not working ➡️ breakfast is super poor. And for fresh orange juice you need to pay extra. At lunch and dinner is only one or two fruits. Waiters don't see you don't have water on you table. And is no normal water in a bottle just only gas water. ➡️ cleaning stuff enter to my room when I'm inside changing clothes. 👍dj during the day is playing good music 👍party in the pool with foam was great …
Was my first visit to Tunisia. Had no idea about the place or the hotel. Animator team Titi, Chicoo, Rio, Blacky, chef Aymen, ddj kimo all great guys with great energy. They made the whole trip very fun!
Beautiful place and great group of animators, wonderful young people 😎 We especially liked Jiji and Mario - they create a very nice, friendly atmosphere. They play with you, talk to you, joke with you, thanks to them you have a good mood and beautiful memories! 😊 We miss you both already 😌
Thank you to all the staff, especially the animation team who worked so hard every day to help make our stay at this hotel very special from ensuring a varied selection of entertainment all provided with a great sense of humour and smiles. The food was always very very tasty with a lot of variety of choice. Room was very clean and comfortable and the trip organiser helped ensure all our plans ran smoothly. A perfect mix for a memorable holiday.
Thank you for amazing vacation in October 2020!!! The hotel is very clean, food tasty and all staff kind and friendly. Animators really take care about guests and every member of hotel crew always smiles and do their best to make guests happy. I look forward to come back in 2021!!!
First of all, I would refer to all negative remarks about the hotel - you don’t pay 5k euro per week at this hotel so lower your requirements. For this price you pay this hotel serves all the best. I would pay even more for a such hotel somewhere else. And when it comes to english...Remember that the second language in Tunisian school is French, not English so they speak Arabic and English and if you want to visit any country, adjust yourself instead of demanding the knowledge of your language. There were Animators who spoke English (and some of them speak also Italian or German) and those who didn’t, tried to communicate with gestures and face expressions (so I was amazed with the fact that people really tried their best Because I don’t speak French). How many languages do you speak, huh? The best adventage of this hotel? People (staff)! Everyone literally everyone is kind and helpful. I wanted to play tennis (tennis courts are free - darndest at other hotels) and there were No balls, one of the animators went to the shop and bought it! I fell in love with an animatorom group - Simoo, Skander, Toto, Tito, Shawlin, Picasso, Ninou, Caramel and Naoime! They were all amazing, charmful and hard-working. I have never been a type of a person who liked animations but this time I couldn’t stop myself from watching night shows! The best animators in my life who talk with guests, help with spending time in an active way and had a vivid and creative plan of animations during your stay. Congratulations to the boss of the animation group — Riva. The hotel is clean, the beach is better and cleaner than at other hotels there. By the way, you should try a horse riding on a beach, great experiances. I am Polish and tbh I was so happy that there are only few Russians and Polish (they can’t escape their drinking habits). Germans and French people created nice and cultural atmosphere, people were classy, gentle and joyfull. There was a mini club for kids and animators took care of children responsibly. Every evening there was live music (a man playing piano) with dancing (Animators were dancing with those, who didnt have partners so no one felt lonely). When it comes to food, delicious! I am a vegeterian so I found many meals for me, for fish-lovers - fresh fish served everyday. Fruits, vegetables, meat, dessert — anything you want. You can meet a chef during dinners which is also cool. I should also mention waiters, bartenders (they speak English), cleaning personnel, reception workers (they also speak English). Those people are also kind, smiling and friendly. Greetings from Poland…
By far Eden Star didn't match up to my expectations and those of many others who were residing in the hotel. Wat was REALLY negative: 1) old-fashioned and dirty room (espescially the bathroom was horrible) 2) the evening shows were unbelievably dull for a young-adult as myself. The animators didn't put a lot of effort in it. Only 21/7 (Belgian holiday) was super well done! 3) the main spoken language was French. As this place attracts an international audiance, this is a big let down. How is this possible in 2019. Most workers didn't even know one letter of English. 4) the main restaurant is way too small if the hotel is full of guests (like in my stay) & the breakfast was always poor & the choice was limited for a 4*-hotel. 5) limited times to switch towels & a lot of umbrellas were broken and there were not enough of them. POSITIVE notes: 1) almost all workers were very friendly (espescially the waiters) 2) the air-conditioning in the room was superb! 3) clean swimming pools Key note: the hotel has got a lot of potential! It is located beautifully near the beach and the architecture of the hotel itself looks good. I hope the Belgian boss invests in renovation and does something with the animation shows. For me at the moment not worth 4 stars, at all. In comparison to other hotels in the same category I expected much more.…
