Hammamet Hotel & SPA garners praise for its dynamic atmosphere and range of activities, with many guests enjoying the engaging entertainment provided by the proactive animation team. However, opinions on the rooms vary, as some travelers find them basic and outdated, with Wi-Fi and cleanliness often falling short of expectations. While the hotel's staff receives accolades for their attentiveness, slow service has been a concern for some. Overall, the value proposition of the hotel is debated, as several reviewers feel the facilities and services do not align with a four-star rating.

Hotel has the potential to be a beautiful hotel, outside exterior is beautiful and pool clean. However some of the back gardens need attention grass is overgrown.

We were initially unhappy with our rooms and staff did eventually give us a better room which wasn’t perfect but much better than what we had but the blanket, pillow covers and bedsheet did smell funky but i don’t blame the housekeepers ladies work really hard . I think it’s safe to say all the rooms need a full renovation and Wifi service as wifi only available in reception so after dinner you will find loads of people sat there.

Food was hit and miss depending on different tastebuds, but overall good, I was surprised there was no chips or beans on the menu at all for fussy eaters, and there was far too much almond flavouring in a lot of the desserts!

Beach is very close by but sea was beautiful and clear sand needs ab bit of a clean upon entrance as people have left rubbish and it’s not pleasant when walking barefoot and you can expect sellers to pester you but I’d say that’s probably expected in most parts of Tunisia if you look like a tourist!

Area lovely but not that much to do, however there’s always taxis outside & prices are reasonable to go local places like the Hammamet Centre or Yasmine Hammamet etc.

Despite the initial room issue, me and my family loved staying at the hotel, it really felt like home away from home and this was because of the staff they were all so friendly & welcoming especially Omran and Simon/Hamdi. The animation team made sure entertainment was enjoyable, I wish we could of stayed a few more days! They made our first time in Tunisia very memorable!

First things first , this is not a four star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. I have stayed in 4 star hotels in Tunisia that were much better than this.
The reception area is nice. No one came to greet us on arrival. Petty but expected. We were not offered a drink arrived at 9.30 and no food available. (Previous hotels serve soup and pizza at night or have sandwiches for late arriving guests .)
We were shown to our room that is basic to say the least. It has a rusty old empty fridge no mini bar, no dressing gown, no slippers. ( Not essential but have been provided at other 4 star hotels in Tunisia.)
The room has a bed and furniture falling apart.
Apparently these were the 2 best rooms they had!
We ventured to the only bar open at night which served, beer, vodka, pastis and whiskey nothing else
The bar staff were really friendly but were not going to be rushed. The bar in the lobby was closed.
The following day we had to ask where the restaurant, beach and bar were .
The beach bar was open but no food being served
The food in the main restaurant was good and plenty of choice.
If you want chicken nuggets and chips this hotel is not for you. It served a variety of food
It is not the end of season but you would think it is with the lack of facilities.
Entertainment was none existent. A disco, tombola and the entertainment team doing karioke.
The room was cleaned daily we were fortunate as the weather was warm we literally only slept in our room.
Would I return definitely not, would I recommend no . There are better hotels available for a similar price.
Internet was hit and miss and NOT available in the rooms.
Beach vendors were a pain and what they were selling is available cheaper in the Media.
Plenty of beds on the beach, the beach is is covered in cigarette ends not the fault of the hotel but the dirty people who can't be bothered to put them in the bins provided
No toilets on beach only one in the main hotel. The smell of petroleum in the restaurant is overpowering.

I went to this hotel with my fiancé and I had the best experience ever!

The biggest reason for my amazing experience in this hotel was the animation team (basically the entertainment team), Dee, Salas, Nanush, Zizu, Manu and Uncle Sam. They put alot of effort to ensure to engage everybody into the several daily events and you could tell they enjoyed spending time with everyone which makes a whole world of difference! They even took us to a good club after their shift finished, not just took us there but actually clubbed with us which put us all closer together. Oh, and they speak many languages, such as English, Arabic, Russian and French.

The reception team were always welcoming and helpful, especially Khawla who was easily approachable to also have conversations with.

Being going to the hotel I said I will go quad biking, camel riding, and other activities. But once there, I only went out once and did not care to leave the hotel because we felt like all our new friends are right there of which we forged a wonderful bond and have created a whatsapp group and still in contact.

Every evening at the pool they have a disco night and fun events such as competitions and fun quizes.

The massage place is also amazing! They have great packages for amazing prizes. I would definitely recommend the full package. You come out feeling so refreshed.

Oh, and a little tip... Give a little tip to receive a more. They truly make you feel special when you show them gratitude for their hard work. The room cleaners started decorating our room with flowers and bed designs, the bar staff started sending over drinks before needing to ask for one, the animation team went above and beyond to ensure you had the best holiday.

A review you ask for, well for someone who never writes reviews, I hope your sitting down, as this is the complete truth.
The coach took just over an hour and a half to arrive at the hotel.
With happy expectations of an all inclusive holiday, so I checked in, three rooms later, as none were clean or had been cleaned, I was told to leave my luggage in the baggage room and return in an hour, whilst the maids were called to get a room ready.
I should say this was about two in the afternoon, room done, fresh petals on the folded towels, nice touch, never to be seen again, infact one of the days the room didn't get touched at all.
So time for a drink, now, if like me you've enjoyed an all inclusive holidays previously, then this holiday is so far from all inclusive. In discussions, actually not really a discussion more a hello with a bar man, he'd been here 30yrs, so the bar. 4 spirit bottles, Vodka,Gin,Rum, and Whisky, a coke dispensing machine and Fanta, a coffee machine, oh and a beer tap. Now, as I said be prepared to queue, if your Arabic or French, you stand a chance.
Rum, well even with half the glass full of rum, I still couldn't taste the rum, I now have a gin, as expected no different, maybe a vodka, yet again, no different. Oh, the coke is warm, as is the fanta.

Never mind, time to eat, still reading .....
Best diet ever, in fact one of the other guests went to the supermarket to buy her own food.
The tables are all laid out, but somehow the staff struggle to clear and relay, so numerous times had to wait for cutlery.
There is a bar in the food hall ( not restaurant) again get queuing.
Now, on the last day, I went in for breakfast, probably first in, actually only wanted a coffee, the previous days food was still under tables and spread across the floor.
Oh, I was also reminded not to walk out of the hall with a coffee mug, pour your coffee into two clear plastic cups, mugs stay in the hall.

Enough, time for the beach, now the temp was 32* feeling like 39*
Beach bar .......... errrrrr NO!!
Whilst I was there it was being built, so you can lie under the parasols, with 20 tradesman, drilling, sawing and generally making a racket.
Another guest asked for water to be available at the beach, completely ignored.

I won't even discuss the evening entertainment, if you can say there was any.

So overall, a four star hotel ....... to be fair, I struggle to give it two stars, the staff have clearly been of the same mindset for too long.
The condition of the hotel, requires a complete refurbishment, a lack of training in all areas.
Cleanliness is diabolical

So, with all of the above in mind, I completely feel that love holidays has totally decieved me with regard to an all inclusive holiday. There is nothing about this holiday which reflects the marketing of this destination.

The decor of the rooms does not align with the images on the website however they are comfortable and clean but some do have a slight odour. The spa experience is a must and was a highlight of the trip. The hotel staff are very friendly and willing to help. I must also give a recommendation to the animation team ecsp Mario, Dee dee & Salas zizu who made our trip that bit more special with there wonderful energy and willing to show us the local town and amenities. I would recommend you bring your own alcohol though because it is clearly watered down. The food is also very good and covers a wide range pallets

Hi, I am Kevin Hoffman, from Birmingham, England, and I have always been keen on visiting Tunisia, but unfortunately never got the chance to, until I did this summer. Visiting such a dream destination through "Le Hamamet Hotel & SPA", was like entering heaven through one of its finest portals. Getting started with the structure of the building itself first, it is huge, giving that aesthetic vibe, my personal favorite to be honest. Luxury equipment, rooms and halls equipped with all facilities, air conditioners, TVs, comfy sofas and beds ...
In terms of services, I found it really good, tasty food as everything's available (traditional dishes and a variety of other dishes), lovely staff members, cheerful and helpful. Also talking about the inner ambiance, the animation crew is on point. Making sure the fun is never absent. Moving now to the pool which is just perfect, spacious with areas for every age range (kids, youngsters, and even elderly). Last but not least, the beach. First of all, it is not far from the hotel, like you do not have to go for long exhausting walks to get there, it is near, accessible, safe and well maintained as it is so clean giving you the feeling of "instant attraction" to the place.
To sum up, I highly recommend "Le Hamamet Hotel & SPA" as the perfect accommodation when planning a trip to Hamamet in particular and Tunisia in general. Absolutely incredible.

Hello everyone,

Very poor rooms and service, below i Will explain why.

Restaurant the worst exp possible, nothing and i repeat nothing is in the minimum standards.
You can search for a spoon 30 minutes and the staffs there will turne their face to help you.

Rooms first one was not clean to à level you will not believe and second one the bathroom was not Working one day.

The manager Mahdi is someone that dont listen and after 2 minutes becomes arrogant.

All in soft you get a botle of water like a favor and all drinks are the worst sickness possible.

The only good part is someone called Simo in the animation team, he is really exeptional.

I do not recommend and if you book for the low price you will regret.

Be aware this hotel is advertised as a 4* but definitely more like a 2* . The hotel is dilapidated and in desperate need of updating and modernisation. We had to move rooms 3 times during our stay due to the pungent smell of damp, doors that wouldn’t open and close and a bathroom that looked as though it hadn’t been used or updated for years. The food is poor and always cold. The sun beds on the beach are virtually non existent, with an empty building they advertise as a beach bar. I can only assume that the photos that accompany the advertisements for this hotel are years old and definitely do not reflect the hotel in its current state. The only plus side to this hotel are the helpful and friendly bar staff and animation team who are a credit to this accommodation.

Still currently here on holiday, sadly leaving tomorrow. We swapped hotels as the last one was dreadful and decided to come here. This hotel is everything we wanted. All inclusive, plenty of evening entertainment, excellent staff and a friendly manager. Everyone just wants to make your holiday worthwhile and enjoyable.

The entertainment crew get to know you, and are always offering fun activities to do throughout the day with a smile. Full of energy, and dedicated to make your time here enjoyable.

Food is varied too and of good quality, I have no issues with it at all. The restaurant is very spaced out which makes you feel comfortable whilst eating as you’re not all crammed in together.

Great pool and sun beds, staff wait on you hand and foot with drinks.

Only cons I would have are the air conditioning didn’t work, but it’s not the end of the world. Also, WiFi is quite poor unless you’re at the pool, or in the lobby.

Loved my time here so far and will happily come again.

Having stayed with family in this hotel and I was very disappointed with my stay because the buffet was very weak and salads were not fresh.
As for accommodation, there are a lot of insects in the rooms such as ants and cockroaches. The mattresses are catastrophic and bathroom linen torn.
I do not recommend this hotel because tourism officials informed us that it is a 3 star and not 4!!!!
