It is understood, that this environment is not easy to run a quality hotel. There are lots of very friendly staff but do not expect any standards in service. Reception has a very arrogant attitude, Houskeeping was great but why we have seen no hoover to clean the carpets? Service at the restaurant needs training if this hotel wants to have a good rating. Individual waiters know to take care, but that may be stimulated with the right tip on a daily base. Food was excellent, knowing the difficulties to get the right products in Tunisia. Maintanance is far behind and the beach must be taken care of much better. This is the main reason why the overall rating is poor, instead of average.
The best Hotel in Djerba. All you can expect from an Hotel: Confort, welcome, kindness, food and full equipment. A special award to Kais and his team in charge of the Radisson Thalasso. "Deams become reality"
Frankly, the accommodation is above excellent, but there is a difference in treatment between Libyans and foreigners, especially the people who work in the hotel restaurants, especially the individuals supervising food, and the food was not first class, and the same menu is repeated every day. I was honored to visit you. I wish you progress and a change in mentality
4 days off to rest solo with thalasso sessions & gym. very nice hotel with perfectible topics: - bathroom which is quite old => should be refreshed - variety of meals => could be improved - but globally is ok
We were with my Wife. Staying was very nice. All Staf very helpfull and smiling. All requests were done. Especialy thanking for Khollula from reception. Very clean Good food and weather😊. For birthday of my Wife we took voucher to the restaurant a’la carte ond cake and wishes. All was perfect . Thank You.
Absolute disappointment. 3 stars hotel max. Two types of rooms. Renewed vs old ones (the new has LED light strip on the door number). The old ones are really bad with disgusting bathroom. Two types of service too - if you are Arab, the stuff is very helpful, but if you are non-Arab like we, you have to ask for everything. Non-existing snack between lunch and dinner. No animation program in the evening. Dirty pool. Dirty sea - maybe it was just September period, but it was full of algae. Overall, one of the worst holidays we ever had. :(((
At first glance and as you walk in, the hotel is beautiful. However, thats when the 5 star feel ends. - Check in/Reception was such a mess, and took much longer than needed (waited over an hour to get out rooms, and they couldnt find our reservation until we forwarded them the email). They were also not communicative at the time. - Breakfast was also mediocre, as was room service (we ordered a burger and got 2 extremely burnt buns with a still raw burnt burger) - Access to the beach was pleasant, but be aware, swim shirts + burkinis + more modest pool wear is banned from the pools for nonsensical "hygiene" reasons. - Room service took an exorbitant amount of time (an hour and 2 calls to get bath towels) - Parking was a nightmare - Our stay overlapped with the summer music festival that was happening at the Radisson, which resulted in very limited amounts of sleep for the nights we were there. No sound insulation, no ear plugs, just music blaring till 5 am. NOT a comfortable nights sleep. The Radisson Blue is not worth the stay in Djerba. Find another resort, or a cheaper hotel, youll have a better time.…
So, the staff try their best, but they all seem a bit lost/underqualified. The barber of the hotel messed up my hair, the food is below average and no vegetarian options. The rooms are not clean and would need to be redone. I know tattoos are not the norm in Tunisia but the staff stared at them quite overtly and lacked overall respect at times. Hotel looks quite messy, everybody smokes inside, which makes for an unpleasant smell. Overall, would not recommend for the price, rather a 3 star hotel.
Severe cleaning issues all over the hotel. Room is dated but worse than that is dirty. Lack of management regarding the staff. Staff is friendly but they don’t know what to do. Five star standard requirements are far from being achieved.
Nice building with beautiful beach and friendly staff (except reception). Unfortunately the hotel is very poorly managed. Rooms are renovated, but already dirty and smelly. Very bad WiFi. The techno music of the hotel night club blares through the corridors all night long. A hotel where you can't sleep undisturbed during the night is, in our opinion, unacceptable!
