The hotel is nice and clean, compared with other hotels in Djerba. However, if you pay attention to details, I would say 3stars level clean. Staff is nice and they do their best to fulfill any requests, but the resources are limited . Rooms are big and nice! I had two different cleaning ladies during my stay. First one, I had to go in town to buy some all surfaces désinfectant ( while you are shopping, please buy your own shampoo and anything else you need for personal hygiene). Second cleaning lady, nothing to complain! So, I guess is about luck. The food…. OMG! Breakfast: please eat well , is the only decent meal you will get. In one week I had twice a decent piece of lamb with fresh vegetables. Rest of the time, cheese and tomatoes. Nothing can go wrong with a piece of cheese…… Most of the food was recycled and transformed from one meal to another. I could understand that till the point they recycled leftovers from the guests plates. ( check the picture with rolled ham filled with cheese. Someone had a bite from the piece of ham, before. Not to mention, the plate was presented in the evening, made from ham cut in the morning.) I’ve been solo in this holiday and my husband told me I’m spoiled, is impossible to not find something to eat in a 5 stars hotel . So I went to buffet and start to send him pictures. He said to me:”please stop , I will vomit!” Last time I checked, Djerba is an island in the middle of the ocean. Buffet should be full of seafood. Well, it was: caned sardines, fish nuggets, some 10-15 cm whole fish and once , some shrimps cooked in a big fry pan with some sauce. Last picture bonus: in restaurant , on the chair in front of me, while I was eating! Never ever in my life!!!!!…
Bad stuff especially the hotel manager is the worst, and the others aren’t friendly. I never 👎 recommend this bad hotel for anyone. Bad smell in the room and when I asked to change it they told that the only thing can they do is refreshing the room. The staff were the worst hotel staff I ever seen.
Hello, from the beggining this is not 5 star hotel at all, the beach is dirty, the rooms are cleaned but old like in 2000s, the bathroom is horrible, if u want drinks and other stuff to glass u need to give them a tip(i have them 10€ for each) without tip no one will help you, people here doesnt speak english, only a little bit :), icing on the cake one day my girlfriend left wallet on the table and 30€ in 10€ bills dissapeared
We arrived at 2:30 am to the hotel “Fasting” because it’s ramadan and the reservation Employee told us that “suhur meal” will be in our room because we’re tired and wants to have rest because we travelled over land in 12 hours trip, But we found nothing .. we asked the receptionist if there is room services but his answer was “No , There’s no room services “ we asked him again is there any thing we can eat because we have been fasting all day long and it’s about 2:30 am he told us that he can give us a pizza restaurant number and order a delivery, is this welcoming a new client method? He told us that is “suhur will be at around 3:30 am .. but we’re tired we slept without eating any thing.. only a piece of bread we bought after this long trip. Second day we were setting in lobby chatting with each other and there is no one except us after a disturbing & terrible music band and the receptionist told the man working in the hotel with very loud voice “TURN THE LIGHT OFF” like they are telling us go to your rooms in a rude way. They are not welcoming people The people working at the restaurant are much better than the receptionist.. They didn’t even gave us the welcoming juice but other tourists they gave them the welcoming juice i don’t know why they didn’t do the same thing with us. I hope you take this review with respect because the receptionists have no attitude.…
After that we booked on Ija app, as a group of 4 the security prevented us from getting to the Maya Beach Bar for no reason. Horrible security at entrance. The reception was really bad as well, they told us simply even booked we don't like you to get in. Avoid if possible.
Beautiful hotel with amazing pool and garden. Everything is clean and perfectly prepared. But the best part is the entertainment. The best animators I have met, especially Souhail. Archery, boules, mini golf, ping-pong, dance evenings, live music, aqua aerobics and karaoke evening :) I would highly recommend !
In these days of Covid-19, there were very few customers, so the activites had dropped significant. This was disappointing. But overall the experience was good. The room.was comfortable. The cleaning excellent. The pool is huge. Clean and marvelous to swim in, with floor-tiles of different colours The beach was infested by algae so not the nicest time. Personnel was pleasant and accommodating, with bar serving free cakes in the afternoon.agree with all reviews that the food is better than you usually find in these five-star buffets in resorts in Tunisia. So kudos to the cuisine. Good preventive efforts are made for Covid-19 times. Prices are reasonable. I would recommend for customers from all over the world.
Very nice hotel in a well-kept garden. The smiling staff very kind to the small care. Our spacious, clean room, the towels changed every day, the varied food well cooked. Take the time to get a massage, it's good quality service
We spent 1 week in this breathtaking hotel back in September and couldn't be happier with our choice of accomodation. Our room was spacious and clean with extremely comfy bed, the food was various, drinks and snacks were served during the whole day and the outdoor facilities were easily accessible (hotel's private beach is only 5 min walk from the hotel). The whole staff is very genuine, our special thanks goes to Mr. Seifeddine, the night receptionist, whose hopitality made our whole stay very special. We could rely on him anytime and based on his recommendations we got to know this beautiful island outside of the hotel as well. All in all this hotel is one of the tops in Djerba offering outstanding value for the money. Highly recommended.
First time in Tunisia and Djerba. The choice was made on the advice of our travel agent. If you describe everything in one word - PARADISE! A giant hotel looking like a marble palace! The area is strewn with palm trees, a huge pool. The sea is above all praise! Own beach with white fine sand - a paradise for children! Water in the sea is like in a heated pool. The hotel staff treats guests as distinguished guests. Never met a sad disgruntled hotel worker. From a cleaning lady to a chef - everyone is always welcomed and escorted with a smile. Special thanks to the guys from the reception - Russian-speaking, smiling, ready to come to the rescue for any questions. A big hello to administrator Saifutdin. For these 10 days this guy became for me a brother from another mother. He helped our family make the right trip around the island, advised how best to use the currency, how to use a taxi, where to visit and could just chat on any topic - we are very interested in how local people live on another continent, and it’s not so easy to find out, being inside the hotel. I watched him solve the problem of the French guest in the late night - it was very noisy from the storm. The woman came to the reception in a rage, and left with a smile :) If you read it, brother Seif, I'm glad! We will definitely meet in a year! As for the food in the hotel ... I can compare with neighboring Turkey - a huge amount of any kind of meat EVERY day! Fish, shrimp, tongue, lamb, veal, beef, turkey, chicken! The desserts are delicious! Fruits! And this is at the end of the season (rested in early October). In general, Djerba met and escorted us so that we have no right not to return there next year!…
