We were so happy and impressed here for our mini getaway. Everyone was helpful and polite. The grounds were well cared for and the overall scene was so beautiful. We were able to rent a boat and fish for the day. Campfire at night and a lot od relaxing after long walks. Just a great little getaway!

This is a seasonal park. The camping, swimming pool, and boat docks are only open for the short summer camping season. The bark is beautifully with several picnic areas and waterfront gazebos. You can still visit the park during the off season, but the main activities are not available.

Great playground, awesome pool, walk along the river, small, quaint, great personnel, lots of law enforcement patrol, great bathhouse...absolutely loved it and reasonably priced!!! Can't wait to go back, very hard to find available slots because it is so popular and only 1 mile from the Village of Alexandria Bay.

For a state campground there is plenty to do. Nice new clean bathhouse along with an I ground pool for the kids. Plenty of walking trails with awesome water views. Wish it had power for our trailer but a generator fixes that. Would come back in a heart beat

Nice place to camp and launch the boat. The bath house on the dock is newly updated and clean. The boat launch is easy and usually not backed up. lots of room to get in and out. There are lots of trails that lead to the water and and always nice people around.

Not bad if you choose sites 17-23 View of water no beach Pool not open. Yearly maintenance. Should have been noted at time of reservation If you brought kids with the expectation of spending time at the Olympic sized pool you would be in for a disappointment

We visited the park in March, no entry fee, and not very crowded as you might expect. We walked along the water, and looked at the scenery. The water was just beautiful, clear, with an aqua tint. Was glad we visited the park, even though there was not much to do on a blustery March day.

The boat docks are beautiful there! John is the best!!! We absolutely love it there. The most beautiful place. There is a new bath house also, although the engineers didn't plan the drainage for the showers too well.

We didn't stay at the campground but spent a couple hours in the park. It's a beautifully maintained park. Say what you will about all our problems in New York, but our park system is wonderful. We fished near the marina during our visit and had a lot of fun. We hope to spend more time here during a future... More
