We stayed at 9D for 4 nights and thought it was great. We booked the larger room and it was big and had space for extra beds on the floor. The main bed was huge and comfortable enough and the room had a good shower. The facilities are great. One of the best gyms I have seen in Thailand and a good sized waterpark packed in to the available space. It is open to the public so it does get busy on weekend evenings but otherwise it was uncrowded during the week. There were a few small things like a broken toilet seat and they cleaned our room and took our towels without replacing, but otherwise a pleasant stay and we would stay again.

Let’s start with why l went here in the 1st place and that was because of the GYM. I was on a mission to work on my health and fitness. Was the GYM worth going too? This GYM at 9D Hotel is exceptionally good with excellent, well maintained equipment. There are 3 Floors to this gym with scheduled workout activities on the top floor along with a basketball court which was a real bonus as it’s been years since lve shot some hoops. To access the gym you will have to get an arm band at reception. The pool area is adequate and your kids will love it. Now onto the rooms = my room was on the 3rd floor with pool views. Extremely spacious,clean, with a huge comfortable bed and the bathroom was of excellent size also which had large shower gels, shampoos and conditioners. Buffet breakfast l found to be sufficient with a decent selection and staff were great. On saying this the buffet seemed to be the same everyday during my stay which wasn’t a deal breaker. So all in all and the above was fantastic.
Now to the negatives = Cafe downstairs was never open once during my stay. This hotel is quite a distance from the centre of town so l hired a motorbike for my stay from happy motorbike & Car Rental which is situated opposite Central Udon. Cafe downstairs was never open once during my stay.

Clearly a new hotel and has a ton of amenities. Rooms are large and clean. Breakfast was good with a really nice selection of food which was regularly refreshed. Pool was good. My only concern was the WiFi was really poor and slow. I would definitely stay here again. I really liked the adjoining rooms for families

Check in with my family around 4pm, we arrived from dinner from Udon center around 9pm in the same afternoon, the hotel room started to freeze at 22 degrees at full power, and we realized that the air conditioning The room could not be controlled independently, it could only be controlled by master control for the entire hotel, that was the explanation received. We have a baby with health problems who cannot sleep with the air at such a low temperature, but this was not enough for anyone to assist us at the hotel, the only response we had was "it is not possible and it is not possible", and The person in charge has finished his shift, apart from the two people at the reception that night, I didn't see anyone else. The customer service of this place is very bad, not to mention how dirty the facilities were, and a clogged shower, and an uncomfortable room and a hard bed, a terrible experience that I do not recommend to any family, especially with children. This place was recommended to us as family recreation and good service, but our experience was the opposite. Finally we had to check out at 9:30 pm, and they didn't even give us a discount for the poor service received, and they kept the money, and hopefully they reimbursed us for the second day that was already paid for.

Brilliant hotel. We had a family room. Big ,clean and very modern. Staff very good. The owner is always around and very helpful. Superb swimming pool and waterpark for the children. The gym is absolutely amazing, modern and well run. Great breakfast room, fresh food and extremely clean. Fully recommended.

Well did not stay at the place. Called in to book a couple of nights and the right miserable guy behind the counter did nothing for his company. He needs to treat customers with a smile and some respect. Well done to him for losing business. We went elsewhere..

I stayed here with my family for a couple of nights. We were impressed by the room size which is much bigger than any other hotels' we had stayed and I'm not talking about the rate! During the stay, we used the gym which made my jaw dropped again. All included with the room price and I'm not kidding! The facilities are excellent. The gym equipment is even more modern than in Germany where I live. The hotel is newly built. Very modern and clean.
We did not notice any stinky smell and had a very pleasant stay.
Definitely going back!

The hotel itself is of good standard, clean spacious rooms with good functional aircondition. Staff is welcoming and service minded.
Swimmimg pool area is a bit small, not many places to sit. The swimming playground is great for the kids, they enjoy.
All above is thumbs up and great, except should have more seatings.
Now to the not so good part.
Restaurant Breakfast is ok, but not more. This is a buffet that has not changed yet. From what we can see the same buffet runs from 06.00 - 21.00 everyday. Price is cheap, I rather pay more for better quality.
Restaurant advertise for ice-coffee etc. They do not offer this, even if they have the advertisement on the outside tables. Coffe offered is just from a Nescafe machine, really not good coffe.
Hotel minimart/coffeeshop advertises for smoothies, various coffees, ice-tea etc. Nothing is offered. Just basics from the fridge and some snacks and instant noodles.
So, hotel is nice but they do not have a lot from what they advertise on the website - just basics.
For me on a holiday I want not only a nice room, but also good food and refreshments. This is annoying since they advertise they have this, and when arriving they actually do not have this.
One of our reasons to choose this hotel was because of the total package with smoothiebar, good coffee etc.
If that is not important the hotel is a great choice, if you want proper refreshments and a good restaurant - choose somewhere else. We will next time.

My family and I stayed in this hotel recently. Overall it was good hotel nice and clean. The water playground was just good size for my kids - enough to play, suitable for my kid's ages and easy to keep an eyes on them. Swimming pool needs a bit more attention in term of water cleaning.

We were so thankful to find this haven for our family of four. We stayed 4 nights and the service was consistent. The staff were courteous and helpful. The facility was extremely clean both in the rooms and the pool. The slide area was especially good for young children because it was shallow. Our boys enjoyed hours of fun on the slides. They also enjoyed going to the gym area where there are basketballs. Sometimes it is challenging to find fun and safe entertainment for young children in SE Asia so this place felt like a bit of an oasis.
