Driving up the hill to reception, we were worried we were too far away from anything and would be bored…. WRONG! This place is stunning. The lobby, the views, the pool, everything. We were given the best villa on the resort too with completely uninterrupted views of the sea. Perfect welcome from the staff too. The food was adequate and portions tiny but we didn’t mind too much as we were only there a couple of days before flying home and had a full day jet-skiing booked which included meals. The only hiccup we faced was when we finished the jet ski day. We were told to call them and we would get collected. We had to continuously call and the lady didn’t understand what we were asking for (a lift as agreed that morning). After hanging up on us a few times, in the end she just stopped answering the phone entirely. After being stranded in a monsoon shower we finally managed to get a car to take us back. When we got back, the lady told us the phone wasn’t working. My partner took out his mobile and called the hotel, and the phone rang. She just stood there and looked at it ringing. We said “what’s the problem with the phone?”. She literally turned around and walked away into the office and never returned. I had injured my foot during the day so not only was I hurt but we were completely drenched and VERY unhappy. We mentioned it to one of the team that evening and the following morning when checking out, the Hotel Manager was there to apologise and he provided us with a free taxi to the airport which was much appreciated. The staff were lovely (apart from the one lady) and everything other than that was perfect. Would definitely recommend and if we return to this area in the future, we will definitely stay again.…

This hotel is situated away from the mainstream tourist resorts and is beautifully quiet and restful place. The staff were very polite and helpful, the hotel was very clean and the food very well prepared. The staff did everything possible to help guests on the sandbox scheme.
I stayed here for a couple nights on my way to Koh Yao Noi & am so glad I did! The staff were so attentive & helpful. Arranging transportation from the airport & to the pier was seamless. The massage from the spa was wonderful. It rained while I was there so was very grateful for the partially covered balcony with a beautiful view of the bay ❤️
Our stay at Supalai Resort has been our best vacation so far! We would absolutely recommend it to anyone travelling to Phuket island! Contrary to the noise and and the crowds in the resorts at the west coast, Supalai felt like a piece of heaven - super quiet, peaceful and beautiful! The rooms are spacious and super clean, the staff treated us with a lot of personal attention, care and wonderful attitude, the gardens and the pool were kept in impeccable condition, the restaurant was super classy and the food - really tasty! Because of the location of the resort on the top of a hill, the view from the pool and from the rooms is stunning! The beach is close and easily accessible by foot, but for the convenience of the guests the hotel provides free transport to the seaside and back. We spent our honeymoon at the resort and on this occasion one of the evenings the team arranged for us a very special private romantic dinner at the beach. The table and the whole area around it were decorated with roses, white orchids and candles and the food was exquisite. Dear Supalai team, many thanks again for making our honeymoon unforgettable!!!…
At times it felt like there were too many staff and that we were being watched a lot of the time. However, the hotel itself is really lovely and very peaceful. We had fancy petals on the bed on arrival and the site is beautiful. Staff were very helpful and polite and always happy to help us, and carried our bags to our room. Customer service was great as we were given a drink and wet towel on arrival. One staff member in particular, Eed (duty manager) was extremely helpful and friendly. He gave us tips on what activities to do and was proactive in helping us to arrange them.
Sale manager, Ms. Marisa and other receptionists were very helpful. Highly appreciate Marisa's support during our booking step, she was willing work with us even on her days off. Staff at restaurants were also very kind and friendly. Cleaners and bellboys worked very hard and efficiently.
We enjoyed the hotel style, the pool and the view. The room was very big with large windows and beautiful scenery. However the quality of the food was not to expectations. The menu was huge with lots of dishes and meat which you can suppose are mostly frozen. The worst point to me was that there were not fresh=natural fruit juices for breakfast. For the price we paid, I think we could have expected some.
The pictures are deceiving, as this is NOT a beach resort! The walkways (steps) down to the villas are extremely dangerous with large gaps and sharp bits sticking out. The gym consists of 2 small box rooms with 2 treadmills in each (for a hotel that accommodates over 200+ guests?) The water pressure for the bathtub was so low and slow, it took over an hour to fill and was cold by the time it had filled up. The shampoo and conditioner dispensers were empty! The wifi NEVER worked! Not enough sunbeds at the swimming pool. Maybe enough for 10 people? Also, the location is so remote and in the middle of nowhere, you would expect some activities or live music to be available, but nothing! Also never saw a single manager onsite! No wonder the place is so badly run. What kind of Management is allowed to be invisible or not even available during peak season on a weekend? The restaurant was by far the worst part of this experience. We had to ask for menus twice and had to then ask for our order to be taken. The restaurant wasn't even busy, yet there were over 6 staff working on the floor. Other tables that cane after us got served before us! After ordering food, only 10 minutes later we were then told that they didn't have what we wanted. So we changed the order. Then 20 minutes later the waitress returns once again, to say that they are out of that dish! The cocktails we ordered also took 30 minutes to arrive. So one of us decided to just not eat and that we would go down to the beach restaurant by the same company instead. Of course, the beach restaurant was closed! (During peak season?!!). Later that evening, we decide to give the restaurant a 2nd chance. What a bad idea! This time we only ordered 2 desserts. One crepe and one ice-cream. Also note, there were over 5 or 6 staff working and only 3 tables in the restaurant (all of which had been served already). 30 minutes go by and we said enough is enough and we told the staff we aren't waiting any longer. Then we went to explain our problems to the Reception. Again around 5 staff standing there (so many staff seem to work but very little appears to happen here). Whilst trying to explain the problem, 2 of the staff begin laughing! I was shocked and just got up and said, nevermind, thanks. Then there was the breakfast experience. Terrible selection, most dishes ran out of food, no glasses for drinks, ants in the jam bowls, absolutely terrible coffee and of course, not one staff member said hello, good morning, thank you or good bye. This hotel is not cheap and I expect a lot better quality service and food for this kind of place. Never again! …
The beautiful and quiet place. The staff was attentive to anything and everything! Shout out to Khun Marisa who went above and beyond to make my stay absolutely perfect! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Phuket!
