Reviews Summary
This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.

Twinpalms Phuket garners high marks for its cleanliness and well-maintained environment, with travelers often commenting on the pristine condition of both rooms and grounds. Many visitors appreciate its prime location near a picturesque beach, yet some guests feel the evening atmosphere could benefit from more vibrancy. While the spacious and well-appointed rooms receive accolades, concerns over maintenance and additional charges have surfaced. Pisit's exceptional hospitality stands out in reviews, with many guests commending the attentive service. However, the perception of value is tarnished by extra costs for amenities, despite their variety and quality.

This is third time to stay at Twin Palms. Never disappointed by their excellent service, outstanding breakfast, wonderful environment, etc. also convenient that they’ve other venues such as catch beach club, Lazy coconut, all easily reachable by free shuttle minibus. This remains the favourite place in Phuket

Our wedding at the Twin Palms Resort in Phuket was a dream come true. We stayed there for two nights and booked the "Just the Two of Us" package. It was ideal for us. The room, the flowers, the venue and the food were all superb. We want to express our heartfelt thanks to our wedding organizers MJ and Kmo, and our attendant Yah, who went above and beyond to make our day special. They were kind, helpful and professional, and took care of everything we asked for. We loved every moment of our stay at this resort.

Just had 6 nights here at Surin Twinpalms . Classed as 5 stars and I suppose it is although a few things that lower the result. We booked the basic double delux but were upgraded upon checking (very nice) we arrived early and had to wait a couple of hours but that was ok. The room was huge as was the bathroom and balcony , just a bit bland in colour, black ,beige and Brown. Aircon,tv,shower ,big bed with pillow choice. However you have to pay for beach bag, mozzi spray etc, this should be included. Turndown and housekeeping perfekt. Breakfast ok couldn't say anything was missing but a little waiting time at weekend. Our biggest concern is lack of seating around the pool area. Only about 20 parasoll and 40 chairs ,People roaming around looking for places to sunbath and just not enough ,it is so hot here you need shade, this should be adresserded as urgent . The management said they remove towels after 30mins but in 6 days it only happened once- when I complained. Dinner at Wagu has to be remembered as some of the best Meat and service. On the website says no shorts but at least 4 men all had shorts on. The hotel is not directly on the beach but about 200m. Alternatively you can use the beach clubs at Bangtao, free shuttle but you have you pay for sunbeds at 50% off plus a food credit of 1000 thb. Very nice but a lot of jellyfish. Trendy place. Lots of good restaurants within 400m especially the one at the outrigger next door, brilliant food. You actually need a large wallet in Thailand today, not how it used to be . All in all 8/10 . And shower floor slippy , ask for a mat.

Just finished our stay with Twinpalms Phuket, we stayed at the penthouse suit. The hotel is amazing, the staff is friendly, everything is perfect. Our host is Jason, he is very professional and give us great suggestions on restaurants and sightseeing places during our stay. The hotel is very thoughtful to prepare a breakfast box for us as we need to head out early one morning for our diving tour. I will definitely recommend this hotel during your visit to Phuket.

It was amazing! I felt safe as a solo traveler. I went to the beach club during one day and took a day yacht trip to an island - both were through the hotel. I went to the spa for one massage, wish I had time to go back. The swim up room with private patio was luxurious.

If there was a good rating I would give it good The positives - good welcome and asked what pillows you wanted App that you can book everything through and see what’s available Good 50 meter swimming pool Nice gardens Good housekeeping room was spotless Breakfast a good choice Downside As people have mentioned you get charged for everything even tooth brush . When we were being shown around our room my face must have looked puzzled she did say she could get me a free one . I explained I didn’t need one ( my face must have just looked surprised ) There is only one restaurant on site which lacks atmosphere on an evening It’s not clear when you read about the hotel but the catch club and lazy coconut have a charge to go to them We wanted tranquility but ended up near a large family group who decided to let there children jump around the lagoon rooms until 10 most nights we where there . We did feed it through the second night got a message saying sorry for inconvenience they would pass it to the manager but we didn’t hear anything . Appreciate they can’t control families and it’s give and take but when we were there we found quite a few large groups We had a premium lagoon room don’t have room 61 , great room but the outside pool area once in first have a seat others do . If you went to the next one along you were sat in front of someone else’s room so felt intrusive We’ve been away for 5 weeks and had 3 stays in different hotels this felt more like a 4 star than 5 star it’s just missing the attention to detail Kalido restaurant superb and would suggest trying

We paid $500+/night for the most basic room but were constantly disappointed throughout our stay. Rooms are old and dated, hotel has next to no facilities and basic amenities are not provided (eg, they charge for dental kits as part of the minibar). There is only one small restaurant on the property, but not enough seats for guests and you’ll have to queue for breakfast tables. The breakfast is mediocre at best and food is depleted very quickly whilst staff are visibly overwhelmed. There is only one small gym and one small pool - both of which are operating at capacity so you’d have to queue for gym machines and daybeds at the pool. The hotel claims it has various partner restaurants on Kamala and Bangtao beach but in reality these are only accessible via the shuttle bus which comes at a fixed time every hour (miss it and you’re stranded or you’ll have to call a cab). This hotel is definitely not ideal if you are looking for a full-serviced resort stay. We also experienced my husband’s toothbrush and tongue cleaner being thrown out by housekeeping - but the hotel vehemently denied and refused to admit it. Instead, the front desk manager hinted that we misplaced the items ourselves. Why would we lie about something like this? The toothbrush and tongue cleaner had always been kept at the same place, ie in a cup by the sink. It needs to be used every morning and night by my husband so why would we place it anywhere else? It’s ludicrous that the hotel would have disposed of our items and then failed to even provide a satisfactory explanation. This raises huge SECURITY CONCERNS if staff can just misappropriate your items freely. In addition, the pool bar also served us a rotten coconut. It was sour and inedible and we had to get it replaced. Sigh. Avoid this hotel if you can, there are far better options in Phuket (which also cost less) - we certainly won’t be back!

As an expensive 5 star hotel, it is the stingiest hotel ever. In the room they give you a beach bag, but you have to pay for it. They give you insect repellent, but you have to pay for it. Even a shaving kit, but you have to pay. They even want to charge you for drinking water at the pool. They won’t serve water at the pool unless you buy a big bottle. It is unacceptable that a hotel that charges so much for accommodation but then makes you pay for everything on top. There is zero value for the money you are spending.

My wife chose this hotel and she hit the bullseye. Great attentive staff. A full and varied breakfast, of virtually anything you want. Really good comfortable room. We chose the Lagoon Premium, because we like the swim up pool. Beds were changed with fresh bed sheets every day. A very special place that I would totally recommend. Oh and I forgot to mention the free local fruit available in the wine room in the afternoon. The hotel is linked to catch beach club and various other venues and excursions. All can be booked via their app or at reception with regular courtesy buses from the hotel. We stayed for eight days but just did not have enough time to do everything

We stayed for a week in December 2023 in what is called "the presidential loft", which we understood to be the best room in the hotel (and was perfect for our party of 4 people and one toddler, as it had two bedrooms). The room itself was great, very spacious. However, the room is directly on a main road, which meant that the road noise was constant (and caused many sleepless nights). When we raised this we were told "its worse in the morning", but truly all we could hear was extremely noisy motorbikes/vehicles which meant that what was meant to be a relaxing week away meant that we craved our own beds! This also meant, the outdoor area was useless to us. We may as well have been sunbathing on a busy motorway in the UK, we could barely hold a conversation it was that loud and not the relaxing experience we were hoping for. Needless to say, we rarely used this area (which was one of the reasons we chose this room in the first place!!). Further, the room is in need of repair due to general wear and tear - particularly the outdoor area, where the tiles are cracked (and too hot to stand on in any case, which is a serious design flaw!). The pool itself has a very sharp edge which was highly dangerous for our toddler. Additionally, there is a distinct lack of sunbeds around the pool which is never great (people reserving them before breakfast etc) - and also, we frequently were unable to get a table at breakfast that would fit a high chair. We were told the hotel was not at full capacity, therefore this seems extremely strange. To add insult to injury, I have fed these comments back to hotel management (twice) and had no response! We won't be returning.
