The hotel is more like guesthouse, the location is good, facing the sea. Room is spacious and clean, reasonable and value for money. Easy access to beach and they provide beach mats or chairs if you would like to go to beach. water is provided for your to rinse off the sands before entering the guesthouse. Suitable for all.

We stayed here five nights. Room was big and clean. The bed was very hard and the pillows were too big. AC did not work well, when it was on, the air was freezing! At first the owner( man) was a little bit rude to us, but then we ate on his restaurant and his attitude changed. His wife is a...

I have to agree with many of the previous reviews - simple, basic rooms, clean and well maintained and for US$20+ you can't go wrong. This includes breakfast of toast, tea, coffee and a generous fruit plate. The beach is right across the road and bamboo beds and hammocks are still there. Unfortunately so is much of the trash and...

Very nice, affordable guest house, with acompanying restaurant that serves excellent food. Rooms are very comfortable, clean, and with everything you need. Beach is right across the road (less than 10 meters), and owner has placed some bamboo beds under the trees with a view to the ocean but in the shade. He also has beach chairs available. Excellent breakfast,...

This beachhouse is actually a small hotel with only 5 rooms. The owner is American and is always present, so if you need anything, he is there. The food was really great (Thai and also Western food), his girlfriend is a cook and makes all the dishes. Breakfast is included and is great (coffee/tea, fresh fruit plate and toast with...

Marae Beach House is a great place to stay for the budget minded traveller. The food is excellent and the location is perfect for spending those lazy days at the beach without being hassled by locals touting their wares. The beach is extremely safe and Kiril has cleared an area just for his guests to use. I recommend the Banana...

It is simple, cheap, clean and peaceful. We stayed here from mid November to mid December in 2011, and that in itself says a lot about how much we liked it. Cleaning and breakfast is included in the price and we were very happy with everything. The location is also good, there is just a local road between the Maera...

Very friendly stuff and owner. Nice and clean guesthouse. Stayed at low season as I remember was only guests at hotel. We left place with very positive feelings. Second floor room had a very spacious seaview balcony, nice place to spent a time after sunset. Big bathroom, fridge, a/c, tv..so we felt very comfortable there.

I came with a group of friends and nothing was too much effort. The rooms were cheap, clean, comfortable and included an amazing breakfast. The owners are a very cute couple, who went over and above their responsibility to help us out. They have great internet, beach equpiment and a pool table. The thai lady was a chef, with a...
