We arrived here to stay overnight but we loved it so much we stayed another night and my partner's parents who were staying in Patong came to join us.

Baan Mai cottages is so magnificent for lovers of lots of green and peace & call. If thats what you want, it is second to none. Has a very original pool surrounded with Palm trees and you will constantly hear tropical birds tweets.

The free transfer is great if you fit in with the owners' ever changing boat schedule. If not, you are charged THB 500 per person for a one way trip from the island to the pier. In terms of drinks, a large Chang beer cost THB 200. Other hotels in Thailand charge around THB 100.
