Bad experience. When arriving the woman at the reception wasn't very nice. 2 days later my Thai girlfriend came and they were very difficult letting her in. She was vaccinated, but somehow they wanted a PCR test. Eventually she was allowed, since I booked for 2 people and the requirement of a PCR test didn't exist. On day 3, I wanted to invite a friend over for a drink, but my friend wasn't allowed either. The other staff members were much kinder and flexible, but I was happy I only booked for 4 days. Also, the hotel feels very old, 75% of the fitness machines for training muscles were broken. The swimming pool is nice though.
Rawai Palm hotel is a clean, spacious, comfortable place to stay. The pool is amazing with a pool bar. In which the bartender is super friendly and went out of his way to satisfy the guests. The room is spacious and elegant. My room, however, has a full mirror facing in front of The toilet. But it had a separate soaker tub and shower. They breakfast buffet that was delicious and a great way to start the day. Travelers here may have to consider renting transportation; since Rawai is a big town. You can rent a boat to take you to the islands close to the hotel. I recommend taking a boat to banana beach. I absolutely recommend this place. For the price, it’s a steal.
Stunning spotless hotel with huge rooms and lovely views, taken to our room in a tuk tuk, this was a lovely unexpected treat. Breakfast was varied and of a good standard, pool area was amazing, peaceful and spotless, no problems getting sun beds and umbrellas. Can not recommend this hotel enough, go you will not regret it. Stayed June 2018 ( sorry could not change drop down dates ) weather was amazing
We loved our stay at Rawai Palms Beach Resort. The hotel is well away from all the craziness of Patong and that's exactly what we were looking for. The area is not very walkable and taxis/grab are incredibly expensive compared to Bangkok and Chiang Mai. There are still plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, but be prepared to put on your walking shoes. We recommend Wan's for coffee and Gigs, Paradise Beach Bar and Baan Rimlay for dinner. There is a free shuttle service available every day to Yanui Beach and Na Hairn Beach. We took advantage of this most days. Our room was spotless, spacious and peaceful. Staff were always friendly, smiling and quick to sort out any issues. We were given two bottles of water a day and the mini-bar prices were very reasonable. The centrally located pool is enormous and absolutely fantastic! The pool bar cocktails were below average, maybe stick to the beer. We came back mid-afternoon everyday for a refreshing swim and a cool down. The complementary breakfast was very good and the staff were amazing. Wi-fi speed is excellent. The Thai massage service is highly recommended. We will certainly come back to Rawai Palm Beach Resort on our next visit to Phuket.…
From the moment we walked into the hotel we felt happy safe and welcomed. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly and helped us in any way we needed. The hotel grounds are beautiful and the areas for kids such as the shallow beach area and play area are perfect. The pool is large with plenty of space. Pool bar is great too! We had a pool access room and it was great - very spacious with a separate living area and HUGE bath tub. The mini pool outside our room was great for privacy and for my kid to have a splash in. Downsides: the area isn’t that interesting nearby but with such a lovely hotel there isn’t much need to go out, although the hotel food isn’t great so you will probably get tired of it after a while.
