In an idyllic position overlooking the ocean, Crest Resort & Pool Villas is a 5-star resort The guest who stayed here were very impressed by the beautiful hotel atmosphere and warm hospitality from professional Thai staff.Another reason why many guest came to stay here is because of crystal clear sea water.I think if anyone gets to see below pictures, they will appreciate it. Hotel's Favorite
We just returned from Crest, we spent 8 nights there. From Day 1, we arrived to breathtaking views at the lobby and first impression was great. We were served by Kwan, who was the best staff to us for the entire trip. They prepared the room for me with decoration for wedding anniversary as I requested in advance. But the downside came when I opened up our balcony of our pool access room and realised we were not facing a seaview, not even any view. It was the back of their lobby and it was so noisy because of people talking at the lobby and music playing. Kwan then nicely told me I could change room for a full seaview pool access room but it would only be for our last 3 days. We took it. But it wasnt that too big a deal because views all around the resort and when you go to the main pool, it was breathtaking. Sitting there by the deck chairs waiting for sunset was my favourite pastime..see the pics. What we loved about this resort - it is quite new only 3 years plus old? So it's still quite well-maintained and modern. - Cleanliness was fantastic that's very important. - Views of course, best in Phuket. - Pool, while it was well-designed with Jaccuzis and a cool pool bar, the water was way too cold!!! How can it be like ice? Did they melt ice in there? The sun was so hot but it couldnt even warm up their water slightly. They have to consider people who are sensitive to the extreme cold, young kids n people with pain in the bones etc...use salt water rather than chlorine. Come on, many high end resorts are now doing that. If they did and the water was slightly warmer, I would stay in there all day... Otherwise, the pool bar staff were awesome. Kind friendly and very attentive. Food was pretty good but pick the thai food. French fries are pretty good too. How can you run out of coconuts though?? Pool views and the pool itself is Crest's main attraction. So make it perfect by setting the right water temperature. The service - this is a hit and miss so it will fall under what we love, and what we didn't love. Kwan, Sek, Phon, the pool bar manager (sorry didnt get his name) and their Caucasian Owner(GM) were the best staff in whole resort. I had a fall at Freedom beach and Kwan and the owner (Caucasian guy) came to me with first aid immediately. They even left the medicine for me to use in my room. Thank you for the help.❤ Keep it up and you will be exceptional. Food - also a hit and miss. Their thai food was lovely, well done not stale and rancid ingredients but quality stuff. But their western dishes...oh dear. Needs alot of improvement. Meat steak sandwich was chewy. And how can the resort run out of coconuts??!!@ Breakfast - wasnt great. Very ordinary. Only coffee was good. What we didnt love about Crest - Sadly, we had an unpleasant encounter with a night staff who drove the buggy to pick us at the bottom of the hill. The problem with this resort is, it is perched on a hill. And going up to the lobby is a very very steep and long hike! Not kidding! That's why they have many buggys. However, if that's a major downside, then Crest better pick up on their speed and service for sending and picking people up and down especially those who drive and park at the bottom of the resort! Because they dont have parking at the lobby level! One night, the night staff who drove the buggy took forever to pick us up from the bottom, 15mins, and it was very late at night 1am! Then when we walked up half way, he found us and asked us for our room number. What the hell?? And then when my husband asked what took him so long at 1am, he muttered something and said the F word. We were extremely offended. Some staff here need deeper training on how to talk to guests. Improve on their sincerity as well. Other than that, I would like to say generally a beautiful resort with 90% good staff. Things like housekeeping, buggy rides and food they need to improve on. But with all the downside, I still give Crest 5 stars review because of their beauty and heart. …

Great location, easy check in process , staff were very helpful specially Tati, Stamp and Kwap. We came before the check in time and they help us with an earlier check in to make it easier for us. Beautiful views. I recommend this resort.
