I decided to stay an additional month after my Phuket Sandbox was completed. I came to the Unity and asked to see some available apartments. I met Saba, the rental manager, who showed me apartments at the Unity but also The Bliss. She was so helpful as I looked at several units during my visit. I decided on The Bliss and have throughly enjoyed my stay and working with Saba during the decision process. There is one must while staying here….rent a motorbike; the hike up the hill is extreme….make you stay much more enjoyable with a motorbike.🛵👍

Liked · Pros: Pretty much everything tbf. Excellent value for money, I paid less for 8 nights than I do for a weekend in a hotel in the UK. Apartment with balcony, decent air con, free cleaning and bedding change available, lovely, polite staff, especially Joy in the office. I would recommend unity block as oppose to bliss, bliss is further up the hill. Walking distance to restaurants, 24hr grocery stores, perfect distance from Bangla, no noise. Utilities provided for cooking, fresh towels, definitely be back.
Disliked · Cons: few minor teething issues, one of the bedroom remotes needed replacing, cable TV had no signal, shower bracket loose. I arrived in the evening, I managed to sort the lounge cable TV, all other issues sorted by the next day, bed a bit harder than I'm accustomed to but not bad.

I spent 2 nights there, and will definitely revisit the place. The location is just perfect, having located on up on the hill enables residents to enjoy the boundless view of Patong beach. Anyone having a chance to spend a night there should definitely go up the infinity pool on the top floor, i recommend to spend your nice evening enjoying the sea breeze and beautiful sunset! quite romantic thus best for couples. the room is vast and clean, can fit a family of 4-7 in there i guess.

Arrived to these Apartments for 1month stay ended up leaving after 24 days couldn't stand it any longer. What I should have done was walk out first day if I trusted my instinct. Payed 26000 baht for 1 month plus 10000 security deposit averaged out at 867 Thai Baht per day which was good value when looking on their website. The building is about 2 years old but the room they gave me was a 1 bedroom and it was an upgrade from a studio which I thought was nice of them but then after a few nights I find out why they try to please me more. There are an abundance of frogs there that croak all night and if that doesn't keep you awake the Muslims at the Mosque will 5am start singing on the Loud speaker then three times more during the day more during Ramadan. The shower erea was built with a level floor draining away from the drain outlet they supply you with a sqeegee to scrape the floor after your shower during your shower you will be ankle deep in water so if it's hot weather and you shower more per day to keep cool you will get sick of this fast I suspect. Upon arrival the room smell was musty I had to open it up to let the air in then go to Lotus supermarket to buy air freshener to get the smell out plus all the cupboards smelt bad too didn't use the cook top it was dirty and I bought my own plates and cups knives and forks etc. They are finishing the build on Unity 2 next door a lot of noise cutting metal and pavers during the day and loud voices too. I have to say it is the worst place I have stayed in Thailand and I will not return to this apartments again. To the managements credit I talked with them to find a solution and after some discussion I decided to leave and find new accommodation we made a deal on money to be returned to me so that at least was done professionally. For a tourist area like Patong I expect better unfortunately this place is not to the standard they profess on the website.

I stayed there for 8 days and booked through AirBnB, it was on average $36 USD per night. Which was not the cheapest in patong but the view from the infinity pool made it so worth it that I want to invest in a condo like this myself.
It was my first time in phuket and the taxi ride from the airport was around 850 bahts, it can be cheaper if you negotiate. But it was my first time and I didn't negotiate very well. So I just took a random taxi from the airport at 3am in the morning.
I arrived there and I thought I am staying in the UNITY of patong but there's actually another building up on the hill called the BLISS, which is pretty much the same but higher up & newer I believe. I arrived there and there were no concierge to serve me excpet for a friendly security who took the room key from the front desk and brought me to the room.
The room was nice, very spacious, with a city/sea view from the balcony. It doesn't have any room service or any one cleaning the room for you because it was more like a rental, but I m okay with it. First thing I did was go back down the very steep hill to look for a convenient store, which there was a family mart right down the hill but they didn't have any sim card for me to get a data plan, so I walked into the one way Thanon road for 15 mins and I found a 7-11 to buy a sim card. It was a quiet neighborhood. I bought some necessities and walked back up to the hill, quite an exercise if you walk up and down a few times a day.
The next morning, I had to go to the front desk and pay for the WIFI for a week, which I forogt how much it costed. Then I proceed to go to the rooftop and look at the amazing infinity pool view. I visited the pool every single day, going there during sunset is also gorgeous. I also went to the gym on the second floor, but it was quite small with a few machines and a few dumbbells.
The only down side was that I was asked for electricity & water money after my stayed but I refused to pay because it should be included in the rental fee and it does not state it anywhere on the description of the AirBnB page.
I am a fit male in my 20s so It is fine for me to walk up and down the hills everyday. but I am pretty sure girls wouldn't like it at all.
When you take a taxi/tuktuk/motorbike taxi in patong, you can just tell them you are going to "The Unity" then they should know where you are going. It should be no more than 100 bahts from anywhere in patong to get to the unity with a motorcycle taxi.

The place was not ready. Every morning waking up to construction noises. Corridors and lifts were very dirty. There are only 5 sun beds in roof terace. Street noises dont reach your room and the view is very nice if living in a room wich is in upper floor and towards Patong. We lived in 6 floor and at room 8. There were problems with electrisity, showers sewer didnt work, shower water did go inside the wall. The appartment will suffer from water damages. Owner, Yves Guarnalec didnt give discount and didnt answer to my emails.

My family, friends and I have spent two wonderful weeks here.we chose this kind of hotel for some reasons.first of all we planned to cook by ourselves. We were 14 persons,so we wanted to feel free for some activities like gathering during the days, eating and drinking together, etc. Actually The Unity Patong was the best choice we made. It's staff was so inoffensive that during the first days we imagined nobody works there. But that was not true, because everywhere were spotlessly clean and when we need some help or service they were there in a flash. I recommend this hotel to you if you're searching for privacy, different beautiful views, reasonably priced place, etc.

We stayed at the Unity Patong for our Honeymoon and we were not disappointed!
The condo itself is small but functional! The bathroom was a very good size. No bath tub just stand up shower which was fine for us. The livingroom area was basically a nook but that was fine too. There was a flat screen tv and a comfy couch. The bedroom was perfect size with a very comfy king size bed. Large closet for your belongings. The kitchen was a small kitchenette style but again perfect for one or two people. There was a small fridge (small in North American terms). There is a sink and two hot plates to cook on.
The condo would be considered very upscale for Patong. Floors are i think marble, tile and hardwood. The absolute amazing aspect of this condo was the rooftop infinity pool and its breathe taking view of Patong and the ocean. Words cannot describe the beauty of that view!
The price for our stay at Unity Patong was unbelievable!
The condo is about a 5 minute walk from Patong Beach. About 20 minute walk from Bangla Rd.
This place is easily a 10 out of 10! We highly recommend it!)

We stayed here with 7 people in early January. The rooftop pool is the block's best asset, but the rooms were not what we expected. Ours was dirty, with sand swept under a hair-covered rug, musty bedding, a mouldy jug and stained toilet. Our friends discovered a condom wrapper in their shower and the rooms were never serviced, which we didn't realise when we booked. We asked to downgrade one of the rooms as we paid for 3 people to stay there, but the manager expected one to sleep on a couch (whilst paying full price). Staff were friendly, but English was not good. Pretty good location and awesome view, but would stay in a resort next time.

"Use bedroom aircon to cool the whole apartment if main one is too noisey = no noise. Unity 1 is up a small hill with steps (which really help) so may not be for everyone but does keep you fit!"
