Detailed Reviews
Paid reasonable price 700bt incl tax with breakfast
Good value for money but not as good as appeared in advertising. Room very spacious good working Aircon but dated old CRT box TV, WiFi slow, Didn't think the noise would bother me as got in at 3am each night but Saturday loud music below til about 4am.
Breakfast basic buffet -chicken sausage & fried eggs and Thai option with rice /noodles +toast tea coffee. Had pancakes one day (better option in restaurant in the soi ( fresh cooked breakfast 160bt)
Free water fridge and kettle
Good situation easy walking distance for Bangla or Paradise depending on your preference

The hotel is located stone throw away from Bangla road which is famous for night life in Phuket. Being close proximity of Bangla Road, anybody can visit Bangla road even after late night / early morning. Also small bar / restaurants are located just hotel premises and hence anybody can enjoy the spirit of bars/ restaurant after stepping out from his / her room. Also the Pa-tong beach is just less than a kilometer from this hotel and hence beach goers can walk to the beach anytime. The room is specious and clean. Breakfast is provided by the hotel and breakfast menus are reasonable. Although the hotel has a swimming pool at the top floor, it is not well maintained. Apart from this, everything is good.

There were noisy bars nearby blasting out music past midnight. On top of that, there was a gap in the wall between our room and the next room over, and of course we had noisy neighbors who enjoyed singing early in the morning (but thankfully they were there only on the last day). One of the doors of the cabinet creaked every time we opened it, adding more noise to the whole experience at the hotel. The breakfast buffet was a dud. The only thing we enjoyed there was the fast internet, and the fact that we were close to the router that we could get the signal in our room. Otherwise, there was no in-room wifi.

This is an affordable hotel but clean and the rooms are big enough for families. The staff are also friendly especially Mr.Thammarat The breakfast is good too. I definitely will stay here next time in Phuket. The location is perfect as well. I had a 6night visit here. We were guided to our room as soon as we arrived

At the very first, i was looking for budget hotel to stay which close to Patong beach then i found this hotel. This hotel is very cheap and the location just 5 mins from the beach and shopping center. The hotel room is very big with clean thai-style decoration. However, beware of the noise during the night from hotel area.

With cockroaches creeping around the hotel lobby, inconsiderate and unapproachable staff, hygiene issues and a market place for a view, this place should not even be open for trading.
we paid more than 2000 Baht to stay at this hotel for a night. Now that is the equivalent of just over Ā£50.00 to stay in absolute squalor where you will be feast to the mozzies and insects lingering around for the next fresh foreign blood in this neglected excuse of a hotel.
Upon arrival to this hotel, i was just gob smacked.... we kept looking at the leaflet and drawing comparisons between the picture and what we were seeing in front of us. we had already made the payment to stay at this place. we were taken to our room, which smelt of mould...i wouldnt be suprised if werent exposed to asbestos. The bathroom looked dirtier than a public toilet and the matress on the bed felt like a log.
We made desperate attempts to find another hotel by walking around the Patong area but everything affordable was fully booked. we ate at the Impiana hotel ( this was done at a very slow pace to try and waste as much time as possible).
we eventually had to go back to the hotel where attempted to look for other places to stay. Internet access was only avaible in the lobby area, which came with an extra charge of 100 baht for every two hours used on each device.
The security guard at the hotel was also evidently disturbed by the cockroaches...so he decided to step on them and kill them. Me and my friend were very shocked by this act but no one else in the lobby was bothered by dead bugs near the entrance of what is meant to be a '3 star hotel that is value for money'
After spending hours looking for somwhere to stay in patong, we were now sceptical of everything advertised due to our daunting experience. we decided to spend the last two hours in the bedroom as the insect bites in the lobby were becoming intolerable.
we left first thing in the morning to look for another hotel by walking in and asking staff to show us bedrooms and bathrooms just to make sure we got a nicer place to stay in for our last few days in Thailand. In our desperate attempts, we contacted Boomerang village resort, a place we had stayed at before...they were fully booked.
we finally agreed on the Novotel, who were so helpful and allowed us to check in early so we can freshen up as we had boycotted showering in the public toilet style showeroom at the Bel Aire..
This hotel is a no! no! no! It doesnt even deserve half a star.... just closure!!!!!!

The hotel has great location in the heart of Patong. It's very close to the Patong beach and the main street.
The rooms and beds are surprisingly big and were cleaned every day. We spent 8 nights and the towels were changed every day. Also there are free bottles of water in the mini bar.

The Bel Aire Star grading should be reviewed the Property needs upgrading in all areas. At present there room and Facilities are below Par from other Hotels I have stayed in at Patong.Whilst the location is right it is very noisy at night at there are about 15+ bars located at the foot of the Hotel. In saying all this the Hotel upgraded me to a very large room when I highlighted that my bed was very hard and there staff in general where alright .If you book stay on the top floor 6 to reduced the noise

Good and helpful staff and this is why I have given rating of 1. Food in restaurant was average. Needed to ask staff for hot water each time we wanted tea as they would not provide us with a kettle. Noisy bars below - did not feel safe. The pictures on the website don't match the actual room. Someone has written that there is a shower above the toilet. Sadly, this is true. I wish the review was posted before I visited. Non-smoking rooms smell of cigarette smoke. Families beware. OK for singles.

Been to Phuket twice and stayed at Bel Aire resort on both times. The hotel look average from the outside but its well maintained in the inside. First of all, I really have to comment on the size of the rooms!! its HUGE! most importantly, it's clean and comfortable. Staffs are friendly and helpful. There was one incident that i misplaced my bike key and i was looking around for it in the morning when one of the security officer of the hotel handed me my keys. Was told that his colleague from the night shift found it and kept it for me. WOW! that is one hell of a service! LOcation is good, in the middle of everything! Easy Access! Room Service is great. served good food. Strongly recommended for young couples or a group of friends. Not suitable for older couples with kids due to the noise of the bars nearby.

Yes indeed, they keep your pasport intil you pay, before you see the room. It was the first hotel that do this in my entire life. Please do not go there
