My wife and I rented two rooms and a poolside villa. The rooms were small but nice. The villa was large, had a whirlpool tub just big enough for two and was clean (too many mosquitos). Some idiots jumped I. The pool at 0100 (pool closes at 8PM), and the front desk people did nothing until I had to complain about the noise! The included breakfast was good and the wait staff were very nice. Daytime front desk staff were also very good. Price was ok and Resort is close to the beach.

Pros: The most beautiful gardens yet in the middle of Patong - how surprising is that? The family rooms are in traditional rustic Thai and outstanding in that they are on 2 floors with a large balcony and you feel like you are in house not a hotel. Cons: Limited parking but the porter does his best to take care of that. There are noises and smells sometimes in the outside air, but this is Patong with a lot going on. The breakfast food is foreign tasting to we Brits, to some people would be an issue.

Great staff, wonderful room, awesome pool, so close to the beach, and great food! This was the perfect place to stay during Songkran. Made use of the gym, and in room jet tub! Would for sure stay here again next time we come to Thailand!

In a first glance it may be impressing with the different Thai buildings that confirm the hotel in a way similar to a Thai village. There are simple rooms as well as single bungalows. But the hotel and the services are a little bit old and run down, needed for a renovation.

Great welcome upon arrival, bags taken and welcome drinks. Arrived at our spacious garden Villa , right near the pool, bonus!! Until I realized we where right next to the open boxing ring and gym from the neighboring hotel. The noise of kicking pad and gym and music classes went well into the night. But that is not the Royal Phawadee Village fault. The safe didn't work, so they swapped it very a tiny safe. Couldn't fit everything in. The maintenance guy did come and swap it again for a larger 2 days later. The shower was a hand held and cold. Sprayed water everywhere. Probably the worst thing besides getting eat by mosquito was the bed. I have never woken up so sore. It was like sleeping on a slab of cement. The hotel really need to invest in mattress toppers or better mattresses. The next worst thing was the breakfast. Guaranteed the same things for breakfast every morning - chicken sausage, bacon, pancake etc. Variety would be nice. I did get a basic omelette made from the chef, but someone forgot to tell her "Thailand's the Land of Smiles". Most of the staff where friendly but a there were a few that had communication issues or just rather not help. It is a beautiful traditional Thai hotel with great gardens. Excellent location. Beach at the end of the road and Bangla Rd and Jungceylon within walking distance. I would probably recommend it for a very short stay away.
