Bodega was an amazing time. All the staff were super helpful and nice. Angel showed me around and helped me find all the unique spots close by. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone traveling. They have pubcrawls everyother night and plenty of other activities throughout the week to keep one occupied.

Had a great time here. Stayed at a Bodega before and all their hostels are real good fun. As soon as we walked in here Angel made us feel so welcome and told us about the bar crawl to the crazy strip on Bangla Road which is always worth doing! Our room was big, plenty of room and a big en suite bathroom. The bar and restaurant was really good as was the pool. Would definitely re visit!

super cool hostel with an awesome pool and a good bar. It’s an absolute party place so if you’re looking for that - this is your location. They give out free shots several times of the day, they have heaps of fun activities and the staff is absolutely friendly, fun to party with and they all really care about their guests. BIGGEST shoutout to the manager DOEL who stood right at the front door welcoming us all when we arrived. He is the loveliest and funniest person, remembers the name of every single guest and brings this whole stay to another level. Also this hostel is great to meet people, I met some of the best travelmates at this hostel! bodega bodega bodegaaaa!

By far the best quality service I’ve had at a hostel. The staff treated us as mates but knew how to ensure everyone had fun whilst it ruining the place. The nights out were mint and not cheesy ‘find yourself in thailand’ sorts. Ben was a class rep and ran the nights out and drinking really well, not forcing those who didn’t want to drink to drink but letting everyone else get drunk to their hearts content. Doel was quality and really friendly, as a manager I haven’t found one more helpful. Once our room flooded due to a burst pipe he immediately sorted us a new room, washed all our clothes and paid for the books that had been ruined. Really efficient while also being a very loose bloke. The perfect stay for a party hostel!

I was booked for two nights here. Upon arrival they demanded my passport or ฿2000 deposit per person. Although this condition is listed on HostelWorld, I simply missed at the time of booking. But having lived in Thailand one year I expressed my concern that this was not standard practice and I was also concern by the manner in which the passports of guests were stored - on shelves behind the desk, not secure at all. The staff were unusually patronising when dealing with my concern. She stated that whenever I rent a motorbike I must leave my passport. When I told I choose not to rent motorbikes she laughed in my face and said “how you visit Thailand and never use motorbike?” It was clear at this moment that my patronage was not valued. I choose to book different with a different property and write off the ฿500 I’d paid as a deposit. If you’re fine with parting with your passport you might like you find the place - I wouldn’t know.
