We stayed here for a few days and did enjoy it. The location was great and the staff very friendly. The hotel does seem a bit tired though and the rooms feel a bit dated. Just needs a bit if TLC and it would be perfect!

Stayed here for the last 4 nights of my month in Thailand. Good location for going on tours. All the staff were very helpful and they were even able to help me with booking airline tickets. They make great margaritas in the bar... Great restaurants and massages very near by.

We stayed here for 5 nights and were satisfied with our choice. The rooms were clean and spacious, breakfast was good with varied choices of hot food as well as salad, toast and jams, cereals and freshly cooked eggs to your specifications. The pool is excellent, very long and clean. There were usually sunbeds available. The views from the rooms very not great, but what do you expect for a budget hotel in a built up area? The girl on reception seems mostly disinterested in the guests, barely looks up from her mobile phone. However, the staff on the front desk, available for booking trips, taxis or just to help with information are excellent. Always cheerful and helpful and seem interested and engaged with people. Top marks for customer service!!! For the price we paid and the location, we would recommend this hotel.

I have to admit that given that the cost was so low and the low star rating, I wasn't expecting much. However, my stay here exceeded my expectations! I was very impressed. The staff were all extremely friendly and always greeted me with a smile. There have been a few comments in other reviews about the ability of the staff to speak and understand English, however, they seemed to understand me well despite my northern accent! When I first arrived I had an issue with the safe (my own fault due to sleep deprivation) and when I mentioned to reception they sent someone up immediately and she was extremely patient and helpful. I was impressed with the room itself - spacious which a huge balcony overlooking the pool on the second floor. The bed was a good size, comfortable with great pillows. I am a fussy sleeper and I slept well - especially with the quiet atmosphere. The room also had tea and coffee making facilities, mini bar, TV, safe, slippers + robes and a good suitcase stand. The bathroom was a "wet room" design which suited me fine - but I know that there are other rooms with a bath , so bear this in mind :) The hotel is just across the road from Patong Beach and the hotel provides a free towel service. Given the location is slightly out of town, the beach is really quiet and less crowded than further up. I booked most of my tours at the hotel - after doing some research around other places in town, they had the best deals and also the lady booking the tours was very kind and helpful. The evening before I was due to check out, I was greeted by the manager when I arrived back in reception and she knew who I was and that I was checking out early in the morning and wanted to make sure I had everything sorted for my taxi etc - really kind and thoughtful service! I will definitely stay again! :)
