This was a lovely spacious hotel room; it had everything you could possibly need in the room, even umbrellas. We also had a microwave, which was a good addition, my partner and I loved that we were able to warm up our food. On our arrival we did notice some mosquitos. Location was great if you liked Muay Thai, because the boxing ring was literally on the doorstep of the hotel. The hotel was in a great area in terms of shops and street food. The walk to Bangalore road/main shops etc. was a 15-20 minute walk. The only complaint we had was the shower and water in the bathroom not working, a few times we went to have a shower and no water coming out, and when it did it came out it was cold and very slow (no power), we then tested the taps and shower and the same thing happened. We called reception and they sent a repair/maintenance man, not quite sure if we should call him a maintenance man, because he switched the tap on and off and said it was working and left, no water pressure was checked or an attempt to try and fix it. The swimming pool facilities were great and snacks were available to purchase. We did find the deposit fee to be quite expensive compared to other hotels we stayed at in Thailand.

We arrived at the Naina Resort and Spa late on Saturday night, first impression I wasn’t impressed at all and thought “what have I booked” shouldn’t have judged on first impression however we were checked in very quickly and taken to our room, the rooms are basic with limited hanging space, they are immaculate, have a fridge, hairdryer and air con. We asked for an ironing board which was delivered immediately, the breakfast is fine, across the road from the hotel but if you are looking for an English breakfast then it’s no good, toast egg cereal rice dishes, stews etc The little Mermaid restaurant is excellent at the end of the road and really cheap, excellent food and great staff. The staff are really friendly and helpful. There is a pool with about 20 sun loungers, we were always up early so didn’t have any problem getting a bed. The hotel offers a free bus to the beach 3 tines a day. A large bottle of Chang in the hotel was 160 baht, but you could buy three for 400 baht in a bucket. The hotel has an excellent location, far enough from bangler road but still in walking distance. The only down side for us was the wi fi . Every time you put your phone down the internet logged you out and you had to sign back in. I would definitely stay in the hotel again. Loved every minute of our holiday.

This place was convenient for shopping. Eating out and massages. Although they have an onsite massage place I didn’t use. The restaurant was across from reception

Sadly i got a room which was inferior in cleanliness a few cockroaches normal in Thailand

Ask for a pool room

Cheap place to stay included breakfast

You have to leave a 2000BHT deposit around £40 which is returned at checkout.

On checkin I had an issue. Booked the room for two people on Ebookers but only my name was on the reservation so they wanted to charge me for having someone stay with me 1000tbh each night. Room is nice, WIFI only works at reception not in room. I asked for king bed but got two twins pushed together. The jacuzzi in grand deluxe room is a bath. Aircon leaks and is noisy. Water did not work intermittently and was brown. Housekeeping took two towels from my room on two occasions and the hotel wanted to charge me 800tbh for each (4 towels). On another occassion a glass was removed by housekeeping and I reported this to reception who told me that I asked for an extra glass so they asked housekeeping to remove one. Therefore I should now have four but had only three therefore I would need to pay for two. I managed to sort this without paying but it was unwanted interaction and I felt they were trying to charge me for whatever they could. Staff were nice sometimes but often were not interested in helping or played with there phones. Staff were very nice on my checkout. I would not go back here. Never thought staff were important when booking. I always looked for a clean and nice hotel but I will be checking reviews in future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay at Naina Resort and Spa.

When we arrived, we were upgraded from a deluxe double room to a grand deluxe, which was was a lovely surprise.

The resort is a beautiful and serene oasis, less than 10 minutes walk from Patong beach and the hustle and bustle of the centre.

The room itself was spacious and tastefully decorated with traditional features. The bathroom was enormous with both a bath and a shower. There were robes, slippers, a beach bag and other thoughtful touches provided. It was blissfully quiet at night and we were able to sleep incredibly soundly.

The buffet style breakfast provided was of a good quality, plentiful and attentively replenished, with a range of tastes catered for. The setting for breakfast was beautiful and it was a really tranquil experience every morning.

Although on first impression, it may not appear so, the pool area was actually very relaxing and we spent several very pleasant hours chilling there.

All staff were extremely polite, helpful and friendly. And the rooms were maintained and cleaned daily to a very high standard.

We found Naina Resort and Spa to be great value for money and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We did stay here for 1 week and had a good time here. When you arrive they ask for about 50 euro cash as deposit for when you break something Unusual but I can live with that. The room is spacious with a big bed. View from the balcony is not much, but because there were no chairs to sit on, it did not matter ( why a balcony ) Shower was broken . Only very hot water. Internet connection was fine. The main door was very week , if you push hard to it, it will open, but there was a free safe, where you could put your valuables.
Swimmingpool was fine, not to much chlorine and good temperature.
Breakfast is not bad, enough choise of hot and cold meals.
At 10 o clock there was a shuttle to the beach and shopping centre. This was a good thing, because the beach is about 30 min walk. You have to cross 2 very busy roads, without trafficlights. At 13.15 the shuttle collects you again . There are some other times, but we did not use the.
Overall, not a bad hotel and we had a good time here.

I am staying at the Naina Resort and Spa and it is NOT a resort. I came here because it was cheap but you get what you pay for. More than that my son was in the pool which is deplorable a nd cut his foot in the pool. He was bleeding profusely and when I alarmed the hotel staff the first thing that was said was “oh yea probably on a tile”. They brought me a first aid kit and 3 people sat and watched me clean my sons foot. At no point did they get anyone out of the pool and I get it .... chlorine will kill germs but he also bled all around the pool and on the lounge chairs.... no one cleaned anything and I can see spots of blood where he was yesterday. Look at the picture below. So what did the do? Offered to cover my sons breakfast. Ummm wow so now my child is in pain when he puts his foot down, can’t go swimming and oh we are in Thailand for another 10 days. But we won’t be staying here. To make matters better this happened last night (Friday) and no manager was available last night and I was told no one will be available until Monday. So if you value your child’s safety don’t stay here. Also in the room the air conditioner is leaking I was told twice it would be fixed .... well I’m still waiting.check out the pictures but see for yourself! Oh and don’t get me started on the number of mosquitos in the room everyday!

The outside of the hotel is just like in the pictures, very beautiful green. All the comments are about the fact that the pool is next to the road, it doesn’t interfere at all, since this road basically leads only to this hotel (there is almost no transport there)
The place is away from noise, the hotel is quiet and peaceful.
There is a boxing stadium nearby, there is no noise from it.
Breakfast at the hotel is standard: sausages, potatoes, eggs, porridge, cereal, watermelon, pineapple, drinks.
Upon check-in you will need to make a $100 deposit or leave your passport.
We were moved to the second floor, everything would have been fine, but the bathroom was very bad. The toilet is shabby. The shower is not demarcated in any way.
The air conditioner is very noisy.
But overall we got used to everything.
The air conditioning didn't bother me.
It takes 13-15 minutes to walk to the sea, the beach is clean, in mid-April there were a lot of jellyfish.
Not far from the hotel there is the BANZAN night market.

The hotel in the facebook page looked amazing.
When we got there we realized that it had absolutely nothing to do with what we thought.
The service from the reception was unacceptable.
The water was a dirty brown color and smelled like mud.
It is not very close to the beach.
The worst of all is that the pool was not cleaned with an automatic filter and that everything from hairs to insects were swimming on its floor. Every day a gentleman with one eye closed threw in a chlorine tablet with his hand and tried to clean what he could see.
The breakfast was unacceptable and always cold without any change in the recipes.

Greeting from Naina resort and spa. We reported to the website manager to delete this green room off several times but somehow the picture still there. But you have nothing to be worry about as the green room is not one of our rooms. We are looking forward to seeing you in October.
