Baan Yin Dee aka BYD is really a nice surprise. We booked it as we wanted to try something different. Pros: Charming peaceful and pretty hotel (quiet similar to pictures online). Polite helpful staff (sorry I didn't catch their names!). Not many people so we had the pool to ourself. Huge room 5 steps from the pool, plus all amenities. Huge bathroom with separate shower/bathtub/toilet/sinks. Ala carte breakfast yummy and filling. Dinner at restaurant was delicious. 2 minutes walk to Family Mart. Good shuttle service 3x daily. Cons: Location a little far and hilly, so best to have a bike/car unless OK to walk almost 2km to Bangla road (we were fine, we walked and took shuttle most of the time, tuk tuk back to hotel from OTOP was THB300). Pillows too hard for our liking. Room lighting a little dim. THB1000 deposit needed but was not mentioned anywhere in booking websites. Overall, we had a lovely stay and will definitely consider coming back :) …

Room was beautiful but what made us enjoy our stay as much as we did was the extremely genuine and generous staff as well as the very nice massage service, free shuttle and restaurant. Would recommend for a Phuket stay! In addition the location of the resort was optimal as its in the middle of Freedom Beach, Patong Beach and Paradise Beach

This is genuinely an authentic Thai restaurant - the food is exceptional here. We came as a family of seven and the service and the food did not disappoint. Expect to wait at least 30 Mins for your food, but this is more than reasonable because you can tell the food is genuinely cooked fresh to order. We will definitely be returning here during the remainder of our stay, it’s been, by far, our best dining experience in Patong. Well done BAAN Yin Dee for representing the culinary delights of Thailand

Arrived to the hotel, weary from our long haul flight and was greeted with welcome drinks and fresh cool/cold towels! Arrived a bit early before we could check in, however staff were extremely accommodating and informed us we can have a dip in the pool whilst we wait. Room was spacious very clean and bright, just want we wanted to see. Bathroom huge! With shower and bath. Breakfast - what a treat! Coffee tea juice you name it they have got it! Toast omelette fresh fruit. Staff - every single staff members meets you with a smile and a nod very cheerful. Our many thanks to “V” and “kee” always making sure our drinks were topped up. Overall a great hotel, easy location to get out and see Phuket! We will 100% return.

Just had a week here at Baan Yin Dee. A beautiful and relaxing place to stay. It's away from the busy town, up on the hill (200 thb by Tuk Tuk) and 5 mins from Freedom Beach by cab. The staff are fantastic. If you are thirsty ask "V" to make you a Mango Shake. You won't regret it

Awesome hotel in Patong beach. I have lunch with my family, fried rice was yummy. The bigger room and near the swimming pool. Staffs are friendly and nice. The hotel location on the hill and a bit noisy. Reception is very good. Breakfast is very yummy.
