Staff are lovely and always willing to help - standout is the amazing Roberto who made our time so special.
Breakfast is always enjoyable with large variety of food from cereals to asian specialties to bakery and western breakfast foods. They have a chef who makes eggs to your wife's- the omelettes are fantastic! You can also choose four different juices and water or tea and coffee.
The pools are beautiful and a welcome activity with the heat. Room service and pool bar make yummy food, especially the pizzas and cocktails!
The rooms are basic but all you need: good air conditioning, balcony, bathroom (toilet paper supplied and flushable!) And a shower over a bath with good water pressure and then a large bed, cupboard, safe, tv, mini fridge and table and chair.
The hotel has a gym with cardio equipment and a all in one weights machine. There is an internet room with computers but wifi throughout the hotel was good so we did not use. The hotel also has a spa offering fantastic massages.
Seaview Patong is at the quiet end of the beach and is about 1.5km to bangla road if you're looking for a more crazy time. A tuktuk will cost 200 baht anywhere in Patong. Alternatively it is a nice walk with many offers of massage, tuktuk or suits 😂.
Yes Seaview Patong is not the newest hotel but it certainly is the best because of the staff and their treatment of guests.
We will be very happy to return to this hotel.
The location of the hotel is brilliant for a quiet relaxing holiday but near enough for good food and nightlife (10mins walk on the beach road).
We will definitely be returning to this outstanding Hotel and staff.

The hotel is run down. Needs a refresher.
Rooms are mediocre, not 4 star.
We booked via an agency and we're given 6 x THB300 Spa vouchers. The hotel says the Spa is shutdown. No alternate was given. The pool Bars and restaurants never operated for the 7 days we stayed there. The Breakfast is standard everyday no creativity in menu. The dinner restaurant is understaffed and nobody understands English. Nobody knows when the restaurant closes, but when you order and wait for 30 minutes after 9pm, and ask for your meals, we were told the restaurant is closed. Rooms are not priperley cleaned or only cleaned when you get back at 5pm, ready to relax in your room. Then the room is cleaned in 5 MINUTES??? The hotel ran out of bath and pool towels. The poolside lights are switched off by 7pm. There is no Xmas ambience in the hotel. The only good thing I found was the location. It is placed at the right spot away from the hustle & bustle but vlose to the swimming beach.
Reccomend restaurant very good food other guests happy with service and cleanliness
Will definately be back next year. Had a massage in the hotels spa Samumpri. Best masage ever with Ammy, superb! Elaine room 323
20 minutes walk into the hussle of bangla Road!
We stayed for 14 nights but had a mini trip to Kuala lumpar for 3 nights within our holiday.
Absolutely no issues with leaving our belongings in the room while we were away!
The pool area is beautiful, clean and there is plenty if sun loungers.
The hotel did a new years eve meal evening by the pool, we decided not to do this as we thought it was rather expensive at 3500 Bahat per person, there was no issues with us opting not to attend.
Our room was cleaned daily and was fine for what we needed.
Anybody travelling with Tui please be aware that you land at 04.45am and we were at the hotel for 6am - we could not then check in untill 2PM, this is a nightmare as you are absolutely shattered after the flight, we did however have breakfast and took a walk along the front untill our room was ready, they do provide an air conditioned waiting room if you would like to sleep before your room is ready.
Overall we had an amazing time and have already been looking at coming back later this year!
Would reccomend the Tui elephant sanctuary trip and also the phi phi island early start tour! Very reasonably priced.
There is a bar along the road just past the coffee club, across from the pride bar , this is called dolpin Beach bar patong - we bumped into many hotel guests at this bar and it was an absolutely amazing place to start before you head off into the evening!
Great check in, were given a lovely drink as it had taken 3 hours to reach here. The lovely Muk checked us in and we had a great room on ground floor opening out onto the pool which was great for us. The rooms are a bit dark but that wasnt a problem. The hotel is all wood, the rooms a bit dated but contained everything we needed, kettle fridge, tv, a huge shower/bath, nice toiletries, and water supplied everday. The pool area was spotless and loungers so comfy, good aircon which was welcome as it was really hot.
Breakfast was cooked to order with a few choices which we found was ok for us. We had a few lunches there and that was all lovely too.
Next I come to the staff here they are absolutley amazing. Muk and Noon work hard and cannot do enough for you. They went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful❤🙏
The hotel was quiet but the attention to us was amazing. The hotel is at the far end but tuk tuks were always available to center of Patong eg Bangla road or a walk of about 15 minutes.
On our day of leaving we had to go at 5am but Muk and Noon brought us breakfast to the room and helped us with cases to our transfer. Such kindness from them both. If ever we go back to Patong we will stay here we loved it xx🙏❤❤
Not much more for me to say other than here are a couple of points that you should know
1) Hotel is the last hotel in Patong Bay just before you cross the bridge to drive up the hill , the road outside is the road adjacent to the beach but is a side spur so generally is much quieter than the one way system .
2) you are going to have to like walking to stay here , it’s a really nice 1k walk along the beach path , which is shaded , to Bangla Road , more to the centre of town . Taxis sit outside in the daytime and only cost 200 baht to anywhere in town BUT YIOU BEED TO KNOW , after 4pm Patong traffic is a nightmare and many taxis will not want to bring you back , particularly in the evening , and will quote you crazy prices to get rid of you or if you pay it compensates them for getting stuck in traffic to get back . If you are fit it’s just 20-30 mins walk
3) The beach is over the road , BUT , this area of beach is not really used , it disappears at high tide , is next to the pier and has no facilities , populated areas of the beach are a walk towards Bangla Road .
4) another thing to note is that the Patong pier is in this area , during cruise ship season November - March thousand is passengers are dropped off in this area to catch their coaches to Phuket town , big Buddha etc , I don’t know how this area copes when this happens , , something to consider from a transport point of view , but will not impact you sitting by the pool !!!
5) don’t worry if you have a standard room and side view , we had this and was offered a sea view room a couple of days after check in , but we liked the privacy and the bamboo screen and garden left a pleasant outlook , we declined the offer .
I visit Patong every other month , my partner is Thai and for a long time I have stayed close to Bangla Road , but the noise and chaos has got to me , those hotels have groups of men coming in from the ping pong shows etc at 5am , drunk and noisy , these type of people don’t stay at the Seaview hotel , the road is quiet after midnight and there is no noise at all if you have a side view room at rear of hotel , we had no problem at all from any of our neighbours or those above us!!
In summary I chose seaview hotel for it’s location and good price , I was a bit concerned what condition it would be in , I didn’t need to worry at all , it is great , staff are great and the hotel is well run . It’s that good I am booked back in on 11th June
I recommend
But after arriving back after 15 nights I can honestly say that the staff go beyond expected, Rooms are cleaned everyday, fresh towels and bottled water daily, the aircon was a godsend......yes the hotel is pretty dated but we diddnt care it was traditionally Thai in my opinion.
For breakfast there is a good variety from Thai dishes, pastries, fruit, cereals, bacon and eggs etc.
Not much else I can say about the hotel other than its in an ideal location and better than I expected after reading previous reviews.
You are about a 25 minute walk to bangela Road and the Juncelyon shopping mall but you can easily flag down a tuc tuc or taxi and its costs 200bht (£4).
There's a 7/11 about a 5 minute walk away which has everything you need....if you want a few chang beers for your room get them there they are 41bht (80p) it's usually double that and more in hotels and bars.
The beach is directly across the road but if you want to go where the sun loungers are it's about a 10 minute walk. Sunbeds are 100bht for the day.
Ps if sellers in street or beach offer you a price for anything take 75% off and start bartering from there. Put a price in your head and stick to it.
Hsppy holidaying we will 100% be back
