Ideally situated for all of Patong Beach"s offerings.....all on one level, so ideal for disabled or hard of walking. Check in to check out was simple, served by lovely, friendly polite staff. We had no problems during our stay. The hotel emailed me prior offering pick up by private car from Phuket airport, 1000thb, we took them up on offer. You may get cheaper if shop around... Breakfast. Fresh produce and varied. International cuisine, including heavily Thai influenced. All high standard buffet service. Chef on hand to cook eggs a multitude of ways and brought to your table.. Pool/Room service. Nice selection of finger food snacks or salads. We tried variety of snacks, and beers mid afternoon by the pool. Room. Sea view around the pool. Spacious, excellent air con system, beds large and comfy. Pillows definitely soft enough for a great night sleep... absolutely amazing! Except: no power point by bed. Complimentary wi-fi (excellent stream we watch Netflix!) flip flops, dressing gown, iron, toiletries, TV, replenished still water, room safe. Toilet paper ok to be flushed here. Reasonable priced mini bar which doubled as efficient fridge, pay as you go laundry service. Balcony with lounger, seats and clothes dryer. *We will say the shower would be difficult to navigate if hard of walking, it was basically converted from being a bath, with a step downwards possibly hindering anyone with mobility problems. Housekeeping. Performed as requested, very good standard, everything kept clean and replenished. Pool area. Black surrounding wooden decking liable to get extremely hot (obviously!) and some boards are loose when stood on. Advice to wear something to protect feet (which is provided complimentary in room) in case of rogue screws exposed. Pool was lush and warm, very clean. An absolute lovely refreshing option to cooling down from the sun and sea. Note: no lifeguards in attendance. Some of the wear and tear in the resort needs attention, as well as some in room. This didn't spoil our enjoyment of what was a fantastic retreat, as everything we wanted in a place to stay was delivered. Having said that, restorative work on roofs were being maintained as we left so they're trying to recoup from what has been a hard time for hospitality industries everywhere. And, although the place looks a bit tired (sunbed lounger ripped, some umbrella old and worn) these are minor issues compared to the main advantages that this resort boasts.. Location. Close to beach bars, restaurant, mini marts, tourist info, markets, Bang Road. Taxis and red buses regularly stop outside. We tried to help as much of these as possible to aid their recovery out of lockdown. Small parking area. 24hour multi lingual reception. 8am every morning the Thai National Anthem plays on loud speaker. Happy hour at the pool bar 2-5pm, buy two get one free. Typically, Chang and Singha 220thb. Soft drinks, 120thb. We sincerely hope all the local businesses find a way to thrive again and any support will help immensely....we tried our best while we were there. We didn't regret it, hopefully you will not too. Thank you for a wonderful stay, especially Nee, and offering perfect introduction to Patong area. Would thoroughly recommend..…
The only good thing is location, hotel is not up to standard with cleaning. Arrived at night room was not ready, free breakfast is horrible, shower hot water is on and off, wifi is not working have to buy own SIM card. Will not recommend this resort…..
Just returned from my 4 night stay at the Impiana Resort Patong Phuket The location is unbeatable. One of the very few hotels in Patong to be right on the doorstep of the beach. The Hotel has its own beach front, a very decent stretch, and every night, the sunset from the pool area is perfect The staff are super polite and courteous The breakfast is ample The room is spacious and the bed is large and very very comfortable However the hotel is a bit tired looking and needs some renovation The thing that really bothered me most was the swimming pool It was green. Almost a radioactive kind of murky green and I couldn't see the tiles at the bottom of the pool What a pity. I didn't dare to get into the pool But apart from
We just completed a stay here of 9 nights. Overall it was excellent. The resort is beautiful and in my view, it's in the best location on Patong Beach. Close to Bangla and Paradise but just on the edge so it's not crazy busy. Positives: - Location - beachfront, close to everything -Staff - all lovely and thorough. Willing to help. Special shout out to all of the housekeeping staff and Bear from Breakfast & the Bar and everything it seems! What a great guy! -Pool is lovely, not massive, but beachfront and waterfall feature is lovely -Rooms are nice, good air con, great comfortable beds, pillows and sheeting -Gardens are beautiful -Breakfast is decent -There aren't many 'true' beachfront hotels (no roads/paths in front) this is one of them Minor areas for improvement: -Yes, a touch of maintenance on the decking around the pool (but do you really select a hotel based on a couple of slightly squeaky decking panels?) -TV/Movie situation was bad. Not that we're here for that, but we would have liked to be able to watch some more english channel TVs, even some movie ones for people like us who didn't bring the correct HDMI cable - even if we had to pay! -Maybe a more expansive room-service/pool-service menu. But even here, I defend the hotel as they did a great job with it given the low level of custom/staff etc. Overall, definitely recommend this resort for anyone wanting a beachfront, luxury, thai experience. Thank you team at Impiana! We'll be back.…
I decided on this hotel due to it's location. Right on the beach, 5 minute walk to Bangla Road. Unfortunately that's where the positives end. The rooms haven't been refurbished for a long long time. Bed linen was old and worn out. Towels frayed. The decking around the pool was broken and loose. The sunbeds were old and dirty. The pool looked murky. Can't fault the staff. We had a leak from the aircon and the power sockets didn't work. The aircon was fixed immediately, they managed to fix one of the plugs but having to share one plug to change phones/laptops wasn't ideal. Lots of better newer hotels nearby for a similar or better price. Would NOT recommend!
Here the policy between cost and service is great! The guys are so service oriented and great! It’s very clean and good organized! Breakfast is great - fresh fruits, original Thai food, English and European breakfast also… every day fresh water at the room, fresh towels and super service! Thank you!
We spent almost 2 weeks here, very disappointing hotel, run down and old, unfortunately they probably lost a lot of money and staff due to 2 years of COVID. The staff was as helpful as can be which is highly commendable as they had to work with a run down hotel. The hotel does have the best location right on the beach and the pool steps away from the beach and a small walk to Bangla St where the night life is. The pool is quite dangerous, a lady went to hospital because she tripped on the decking. Most of the decking is unstable with the wood planks not secured to the floor, we did see maintenance working on this the next day but they didn’t fix the whole area only a small part. The stairs into the pool was loose and unstable, we saw maintenance hanging around but this was never fixed. The customers are very inconsiderate leaving towels and personal items on the pool chairs to reserve a spot and to not be seen for hours. At one stage there was approximately 20 towels and no patrons to be seen. The pool chair cushions are very old and mouldy, we did see upholsterers measuring. The first 2 nights we spent in a room that smell of wetness and mould. We had to complain and move when the tile floors remained wet, even after drying the floors a couple of times with towels it remained wet. We had to remove our items off the floor. The staff was prompt when we asked to change rooms. However the new room we had 3 complaints, no hot water, we had to ask again the next day and it finally got fixed, the lights went out one night. The wifi didn’t work, we saw that a technician came the next day but it still didn’t work the rest of our stay. Overall a lot of issues for a hotel. With all the issues we can see staff, technicians and maintenance trying to fix these issues but the rooms and pool are long overdue for a major renovation. We spoke to fellow patrons and the room rates are between $120 to $250 AUD a night. There is actually no fitness centre with gym as mentioned on their amenities. A big thank you to the staff who work long hours and trying their best to run a hotel that require a lot of repairs. Hotel 2 stars and staff 4 stars.…
found this hotel to be in an excellent location which had direct access to patong beach , when arrived we were allocated garden rooms which were very nice with a queen size bed , rooms were cleaned every day , breakfast was excellent with a good choice including english smoked bacon , staff were very friendly and helpful , nice looking pool overlooking patong beach , this hotel is ideal for couples and families with kids of all ages , only a short walk to bangla road for the nightife with plenty of restaurants and bars to suit all taste , i would definitely come back to this hotel if visiting patong as it ticks all the right boxes for a great stay.
This is the third time we have stayed at this resort. Whilst there is a bit of maintenance to be done, but understand Covid has affected this . The position is number one on Patong Beach. We did the Thai cooking course which was brilliant. Special mention to Yot who helped us organise this and attended himself , and also made sure we got the recipe book on check out. We’ll be back
Great location, brilliant views and stunning property. Right by the seaside with lots to do. Stayed here 6 nights over New Year’s Eve great rooms with nice spacious bathrooms and balcony. Had a great stay in general just a bit disappointed with the lady who checked us in, who was not particularly friendly nor helpful. She took a call while checking us in and stayed on the call while we kept waiting and just ignored us when we asked her a question,
