For the price i paid. I am satisfied. Much better than other 3 star hotels along the main road. I have 2 feedback i would like to share. 1) is that for the size of the hotel, the front reception counters need to have more manpower to cope with the number of guests. Waiting time can be long to check in/out. 2) no electrical sockets beside the bed. This is really unacceptable given the day and age we are living in!
Other than that, it is a good enough stay. For others ranting about unacceptable service etc etc. please remember the price you are paying! I would recommend Hotel Indigo if you want service. But triple the price :)

We recommend a room that connects directly to the pool. It was a pleasant hotel with good staff. It was comfortable because I could walk to the center right away. There were many families. The negative point was that the water became muddy when the hot water was served. Room directly connected to the pool is recommended

The location of this hotel is very good. About 10 minutes walk to Patang Beach. We got the corner room on 6th floor in a newly acquired building across the original hotel. Hence the work was in progress in our building. The lobby was just being constructed, the elevator was very small and the rooms did not have proper amenities. There was no closet to put the clothes, the writing table was very tiny and getting hot water in the faucet was a challenge. The electronic safe in our room did not work and inspite of asking at the front desk to open the safe, nobody came to fix it. The pillows were very hard and the drainage in the bathroom was very poor. However somebody came to fix that on the second day. The breakfast was very good with local variety. The original building looked very good with swimming pools attached directly to the rooms. The customer service was not very good. Had to ask several times to small things such as extra hangers etc.

I am a frequent traveller to Phuket and when I visited this time I needed to book a family room for 5 of us (2 adults, 2 young children and nan) and stayed here for 11 nights..
I needed something that was within my budget within walking distance of Patong beach (about 10 minutes for my pace) and somewhere near to the markets/ shopping centre. The Andakira is about 5 minute walk away from Junceylon shopping centre but was closed when I visited (Big C was open though).
I have Thai family members and the Banzaan Market is also a 5 minute walk away and catered to them for the price and street food. Nan has mobility issues so was great for her to be near the market.
The family suite/ room comprises of 2 rooms with a divider door. I found both rooms to be of a large size. Both have TVs and fridges. The bigger room has a sofa and table. The bigger room was used as the main socialising room and for eating etc.
The bigger room has an en suite bathroom but has a bath. The en suite is located on the left when you enter. It has a sliding type frosting window that faces into the main room so if you have any guests you are staying with they may be able to see in (just for consideration of who takes what room). The smaller room has an ensuite bathroom with standing shower. I had a decent sleep and the air con worked great. The rooms were clean and staff cleaned them each day.
The view from the balcony was of the hotels/ homes nearby and Patong Hill. My room was located on the first floor which is the same level as the swimming pool. There is a kids sized small pool and also the bigger pool.
I found the staff pleasant and helpful.
There is parking available at the hotel for cars/ motorcycles.
I have previously stayed in hotels on 200 year road near to Bangla Road due to being near the beach
I would recommend this hotel and when I return to Phuket I intend to stay here again.

My family stayed at the Andakira for the first time and I am very impressed with the location and amenities. The rooms are large and clean. We were close to the pool which has a lovely under cover seating area and cool breeze on hot days. The staff are very friendly and the buffet breakfast has a good range (just needs bacon!). There are plenty of restaurants a short walk away and the major shopping precinct is only a 5-10 minute walk away. The night markets are also a short walk up the road and have a great range of food, drinks and desserts. Make sure you look for the lady selling pancakes outside the Lucky 13 restaurant - they are the best and she is lovely.

The rooms are in a good shape, the pools also look great. Beside of that, I can not recommend this hotel. The staff was rude, in the check-in. We waited very long time and other new customers got served, so i asked why they need so long for the check-in.
After that we got checked-in and got probably the worst room in the whole hotel (pictures from our great "view" are attached) The view was not comparable, with the pictures of the hotel which u find online. We were a bit disappointed but still happy, about the room.
We even considered to stay one day longer, we asked, on the reception, because we saw that the hotel was empty. The staff declined and was very rude to us, it was always the same behavior, except of Mr. Mee who checked us out, he was very friendly!
We also asked about the laundry service and they answered like:
"If it is not to expensive for you, you can use it, but u dont have time for this so u can check on street."
The staff was always rude to us, because we are young.
It was very disappointing. They handled familys and older people way more kind than us. So if u are around 20 I can not recommend this hotel, maybe if u are older they will treat u better.
On the last day we found out (listening to a hotel guide from another group) that the breakfast is included. Before that, nobody explained us anything about the breakfast on the reception. Beside of that, they never explained something anyway and could not help one time.
So we decided to go the first time to our PAID breakfast. We came there but they cleared already 15 minutes before the breakfast time endet, all food away. I never saw this in another hotel, usually u can ask and they even have some food after the breakfast is already closed!!!
So at all: If u dont care about service and staff, I think it can be OK for a few days. If you are younger and u travel alone or with your wife/girlfriend, I can absolutely NOT RECOMMEND this hotel.

I had booked the hotel looking at its review but had a real bad experience. They say that their superior room has balcony but it is just a small standing space. We did not like the room as there was no privacy in the room that we were allocated, the balcony was overlooking the reception and dining area, so one cannot have a peaceful time and you have to keep the curtains drawn most of the time. We had checked in to the hotel on 1st March night, the next day when I asked them to change the room, the receptionist was very rude and she said if you did not like the room, you should have changed the room when you checked in yesterday and asked me to check about the room availability the next morning. I told her we have to leave for a tour early in the morning around 7 am and we will be back late in the evening, so I requested her if they can help us with some arrangement, it would be convenient for us. There was a very rude response from the hotel staff on this as well stating we cant do anything. Customer service is pathetic in this hotel and they do not bother about customer requests and requirements. As we had already spent 2 nights in the same room and just had one more night to go, and the next day we didn't have much time, we decided to manage somehow. On top of this to our dismay, the next day evening when we returned from the tour, we wanted to have some coffee and there was no cup available in the room, as we had used them last evening and it was cleared by the hotel staff. When we called the hotel reception to get us 2 coffee cups, the receptionist was very rude again and mentioned that we had already kept two cups in your room. We explained to her that we had used them and they were cleared last night by the hotel staff. She mentioned that it's your responsibility to get the room cups from the restaurant else we will be charged if they do not find the cups in the room. First of all this was bizarre secondly we were never told that it's customer's responsibility to keep the available crockery intact in the room till checkout. Never expected this kind of service and misbehavior from a 4 star hotel of repute.

The hotel is so clean. The housekeeping staff do a great job of cleaning the rooms and are so respectful of your belongings.
As a solo female traveler, staying here made me feel so safe.

We turned up at 4 pm but the rooms were still not ready. I had clearly asked for two double beds but was given two singles. They got the cleaning staff to push the beds together and make up the beds as a double. The staff who came to my room was rude and looked at me as if I were dirt on her shoe I have sleep APNEA and need a machine when I sleep. There were no electric sockets next to the bed on either side. When I asked for an extension cable, I was bluntly told to go and buy one in town and the duty manager deflected my questions by asking me what I was going to have for dinner. In the second room, the tap in the bathroom was broken and the door to the pool could not lock so basically a security issue. Basically, the basics of a decent hotel were not here. I know that in writing this review I will get the same copied and pasted reply that other complainants have received and nothing will change.

We had a list of shortlisted hotels and this hotel was 1st on the list for our stay in Phuket, and trust me it was one of the best decisions taken.
The hotel is amazing and truly a place to chill and relax. The resort is located in the main city area and just walking distance from the famous Jungceylon mall. This huge mall has everything under one roof, food outlets, shopping, entertainment. There is a pool located on the 3rd floor of the hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the AC was good and adjustable, the bed was big and spacious and bedsheets, towels were clean.There was a balcony, which has 2 chairs to sit and relax. The service was truly commendable. The breakfast spread was very good. The staff always had a smile on their face and were willing to help always. It was difficult for them to understand us and vice-versa however they didn't give up and helped us in the best possible way.
