Pending on what your priorities are this hotel may or may not work for you. The Location is fantastic, beach access is a 1 minute walk and Bangla Road around 3 minutes. The WiFi worked very well. Reception staff was a little hit and miss, some were very friendly, others not so much. We received one room key on check in, asked for another and had to sign for it with a charge of THB 200 if we lost it. We booked a King Room which was two single beds pushed together with a duvet that did not fit the size of the bed. The first morning we didn't have hot water in the shower but that was fixed immediately. The balcony is the size of a shower cubicle and looked straight into what appeared to be a hostel next door. The air conditioning worked very well. There is a Coffee Club downstairs which is very convenient, there was some street noise but if you want to stay in the middle of Patong it's hard to avoid that. We stayed at peak time so it was expensive for the level of quality. Cleaning staff were lovely. The room itself was a good size, as was the bathroom. Everything on your doorstep.

The location of the hotel is bang on - it's easily accessible, it's close to the beach, walking street, shops, restaurants, etc. The rooms are clean and staff is cordial. I rang up the hotel and spoke with Num before I had traveled to Phuket. Num was so helpful in giving me information on how to get there,about the rooms, the amenities at the hotel, etc. I'd definitely recommend The Bloc.

Stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights in Deluxe room.
1. Rude staff and terrible customer service - Staff even lied to my face when I requested for a weighing scale that I saw another guest using in the lobby just a few hours earlier. Staff even argued and raised their voices with me multiple times when their machine had issues with card payment. Asking me to go away and withdraw cash. 2. Basic rooms - Not even close or worth the premium prices they charge, things were falling apart, USB ports no working, hairdryer spoilt, no consistent hot water. It's either scalding hot or cold, no in between. Balcony could only fit 1 person and it was constantly noisy with the street noises, live music or the next door neighbors. 3. Location is decent if you like the sleaze of Bangla walking street, but it's not worth the price considering the factors above.
Take my advice and look for another hotel. This is falsely advertised as 4* but it's 2* at best. With that level of standards, please don't even bother even if you get a really great deal. You'll thank me later.

The credit card machine limited on tap maximum 1,500 baht daily per each time approved by the bank we would like to solving that problem and protecting complain from customer in future, bank approved to charged directly from credit card only. Please accept to apologize even room rate we selling daily rate not the same price if we are quite higher tightly room the price is gone up quickly as high season rate and all facilities in room was falling apart, balcony door all the hotel rooms we are the same we are try staving to be good served. as the noisy room we provided honeymoon room for you the front side for better view but if the room was noisy please contact at the reception and move the room the back side is quite room same category deluxe room because the front side next to surfboard and live music. We stayed in The Bloc Hotel for 5 nights in January 2022. Reception made us feel very welcome on arrival and we were guided through all covid procedures which really helped. The Hotel itself is very clean - I cannot stress enough how valuable this is in covid times - and was in a great location, short walk to the beach and Bangla Road. Ultimately Patong wasn't our cup of tea but we'd highly recommend anyone looking to come to stay at this hotel :)

The facilities are very nice: very clean rooms with a really comfortable bed. It has a swimming pool in the rooftop with a bar which is a great place to hang out. The look and feel of the hotel is very nice, and it is really well located right at the heart of Patong Beach 5 minutes or less away from Bangla Road.

I lived in the bloc hotel from 31/3/22 to 10/4/22 the staff are amazing from Bee who helped us move room due to a disturbance with the people in the next room (he upgraded our room to a bigger bed) to the girls at reception who were just so friendly helpful and caring to bong bong at the pool area on the roof who was so much fun and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Patong Thailand.🇹🇭
I was incredibly impressed to how close the hotel was to all the local hot spots such as Bangla Road to the beach.
Bee was fantastic and so friendly helpful I can not thank him more for making me and my wife feel very welcome and comfortable.
When we return I will 100% be returning to the Bloc hotel it's fantastic. We love Thailand and it's wonderful culture and people.

Very central location with a few minutes’ walk to Patong beach and Bangala road and everything else.
Room condition can be better. Comfortable bed. We did experienced a power trip during our stay. Coffee and tea available to be consumes. Basic toilet amenities. Water flow from the rain shower can be improved. Balcony available, however the view was just the other side of the hotel. Nice roof top bar with a pool overlooking Patong beach.
A shootout to the night team for giving me a birthday cake and wishing me a good stay in Phuket. Cheers to that!

The hotel is in an excellent location. Walking distance to the beach and Bangala Rd, infact, walking distance to everything, The room was a perfect size, the bed was very comfortable and had air-conditioning. The staff, especially Meow, were very friendly and helpful with any assistance we needed. We paid for breakfast in the price, which was very nice in the coffee shop next door. Up on the roof is a pool and a bar and a gret view of the sea. Plenty of sun beds and loungers. We will be going back to Phuket and will definitely return to The Bloc. Highly recommend.
