Booked for 3nites thru Agoda for a 'twin' bed with breakfast even though i'm travelling alone as that's the only deal with breakfast. I chk out on the 3rd day...the facade itself looks alrite, check in ard 10am and was shown to my room. Got a shock not because it was simple(cement floor, basic furniture) but it looks so 'run down' inside. Re-assuring myself since it was so cheap, i was wrong. During check in, the lady staff asked for payment even after I told her paid thru Agoda but communication was a really NO NO. She nod her head and show me to the room after photocopying my passport. 1. The bed! Queen size but found 3 blood stains and few strains of hair!!!2 on the blanket & 1 on the pillow..no bedbugs though but bed was hard. 2. Dressing table+eating desk+shoe rack...2 bottles of water provided with glasses, both glasses have stains on them around the rim and one has residue! 3. Toilet basin spoilt, shower was ok but water not strong enough. 4. Plenty of red ants! On the floor, the bed...dun leave any uneaten food/drinks/coffee in cup in the rubbish bin for they will be infested with red ants the next say! 5. Wifi signal not good, on/off very frustrating and all the channels on TV are thai programmes 6. Booked 3nites but stayed only 2nites, nobody come and clean my room..maybe i was back early ard 2pm? Had to ask for fresh towels... 7. Hot water & microwave/fridge avail at the reception but dun expect to have excess to hot water at 5am, they open abt 7pm. The view from 'balcony' only dead/dried plants and bits of mountain...In the evening some unknown man were drinking alcohol in front of my room. When i checked out in advance, the staff asked for payment again!!!…
Nette anlage in ruhiger gegend. Freundliches personal obwohl schlechtes englisch.
The bungalows are quite new and conveniently equipped. You need your own transportation to get here as it is on the outkirts of the city. Restaurants and markets are a few kilometres away. But it's settled in a nice garden and really quiet. A free breakfast is served in the morning.
There are about 14 multi coloured cabins here set in a small garden area. There is plenty of parking. The resort is about 15 minutes walk to the city centre, quite a pleasant walk. The rooms are average, clean but lacking a bit of oomph. The staff are great and breakfast is the usual asian fare, rice soup, eggs and toast. It was fine for us and seems to be available all morning. It is pleasant enough.
