Probably the cheapest place to stay in MHS and with it being beside the lake I guess they justify the prices for that reason. Double room with private bathroom for 300baht a night is okay I guess but mattress on the floor; electric wall socket needing replaced as it seemed very temperamental in charging anything; bathroom needs a serious refurb...

I stayed here for a couple of nights and enjoyed the place. The lady owner is very helpful and friendly. The place is kept clean and comfortable. Just don't stay downstairs as it can be extremely noisy.

The problem is that trip advisor doesn't give a rating of "good"- just average and very good. This place is a good spot for backpackers- everything you need- the bed isn't bad. The spot is superbly located, right next to the lake. You can step right out and head to visit the town.

This is my FIRST terrible review...It's the hottest room (rm 9) we ever stayed! We have a really good first impression when we check before moving in. Owner is so nice. The room is basic but Clean. Two mattresses on floor are very enough. And 250b/ ensuite room is reasonable. HOWEVER, another story at night. Ants come from the door...

It will not be the accommodation of your dreams, but if you are under budget and you intend to spend in Mae Hong Son one or two night, this guest house might be the choice. Is very basic, but central, near the lake, clean, quiet and with a friendly atmosphere... Breakfast not included, but if you don't want to leave...

I was staying here for 2 nights. Very clean, silent, stuff do not disturb You at all. Has a good location - just near the lake where You can admire the views of twin-pagodas! 10 minutes walking to the central market where You can have Your cheap local food. 5 minutes walking from the main street of Mae Hong Son.

We arrived in Mae Hong Son about 6pm and tried to find somewhere with a lake view for the night. We looked at all the surrounding hostels and this definitely had the cleanest room for the best price. It's very simple - just mattresses on the floor and the walls were very, very thin - but it's comfortable and well...

My partner and I had a double fan room with a shared bathroom for 200B/night. The room was nothing more than two matresses on the floor, with bedding, but it was clean and really cheap. The bathrooms could have been cleaner but you get what you pay for; the showers were at least powerful and warm enough. Wifi was free...

We went to this guesthouse 3 days ago, it's a really cheap guesthouse 300B for a clean room with bathroom. There is a double mattress on the floor, and you have a hot shower. Everywhere around the lake there is a couple of GH but it's more expensive and not really clean. The breakfast is generous and cheap as well,...
