A very old hotel. I stayed at the front building above the lobby. I can see that the room has not been renovated for so long (Room #403). The closet door can hardly be slided. The balcony isn't clean. The bathroom is acceptably clean however everything is aged. I personally recommend adding a couple more hundreds Baht and choose the next door hotel, Pullman, or a bit further off like Avani or previously known as Centara. Keep in mind that the two I recommend are more expensive than Kosa However, all staff here are nice. But if I have a choice, this would probably be my first and last.
My partner and I where greeted at the door by a very friendly chearfull guy, who took our luggage up to our room for us. The room was very clean and tidy with a city view. Breakfast was was great and I was very impressed with the imaculantly dressed staff in their uniforms. The service was fantastic, with the young waitress, wearing a badge saying trainee was wonderful, clearing our table and looking after us. The grounds were well kept and I did admire the large karp fish in the big pond adjacent to the restaurant. The hotel is very centralu located to everything including some nice bars and eateries, with a big shopping mall across the road. Overall a very nice stay with very pleasant hospitablestaff. I would definitely stay at Kosa again.
The hotel's lobby looks fine but when entering the room it looked old. Room - clean and bed is comfortable. Washroom - Sink top is dirty and old Location - quite centre, IT Plaza just opposite the hotel, 15 mins to Central Plaza, > 8 mins to morning Market, railway station is not far. Food - easier available nearby. WiFi - need to log in each time. Good price for value if you mind it is old.
My first time in this hotel which I chose because of its location. Extremely well located. A 15 mn walk to Central and close to lots of restaurants, including an excellent Jazz bar/restaurant ( Der La Jazz) at the back of the hotel. The room was very comfortable, great bed and nice bathroom although I would have appreciated being able to open a window for some fresh air. Good TV programmes ( at least you have Al Jazeera to compensate for Fox channe ) The breakfast was fine, a good variety of food. A better choice of cornflakes would have been better instead of the regular cornflakes...No Muesli nor yoghurt...The Thai dishes were excellent. The excellent point for me was the remarkable service at the reception. I needed to go to hospitals and schools and the receptionists were fantastic helping me find the address, get me a Grab taxi etc..Very nice and helpful. All in all, a great place that I will choose again for my annual trip to KK.…
The Hotel KOSA is a fantastic place to stay, in a great location that is right on the edge of the local nightlife action in downtown Khon Kaen. It has; vintage furnishings, classic lines (love the wooden trim) of decor and just oozes old world charm but balances this with modern services. Both my check-in, duration (hotel is guest friendly) and check-out experiences were all first class. Big on facilities including; gym (with an actual bench press and garden views), restaurant (open at 6am, - which is great for we early birds ...), conference centre, plus snooker hall. My studio room was spacious, as was the balcony too, with it's people watching (pub, restaurant and retail precinct is right next door) and city skyline (wonderful sunset over the city) views. The pool is big enough to do some laps and the deep end is well, very deep (great for duck dives to the bottom), too. I took a short Tuk-Tuk ride from the Train Station to initially arrive at the Hotel KOSA and took advantage of the economical and on-time on airport shuttle service provided by hotel for my departure. On balance, this is great option for travellers to Khon Kaen, it is just fantastic.…
