great little place, except for ex-pats sitting around all day/night drinking, smoking and taking up the little seating available. Impossible to have a quiet meal in the evening with the TV blaring out football and the owners/ex-pats choice of music. Clean and good service, maybe a little overpriced given location, but great if you just want a clean bed --given...

My wife and two teenage daughters stayed at Mai Thai in two guest rooms for nearly three weeks while we visited relatives. Ron and his wife could not have been more accommodating. The rooms were very comfortable and the pool was great. All in all we found the place very comfortable and the location great - we will be back....

A charming little guest house. The owners were super friendly and very attentive to our needs. The rooms were great value and the resort was very clean with a nice pool. Complimentary dvd's and books are laid out for guests which was a nice touch. I will definitely be using the Mai Thai again on my next vist to KK.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. At Mai Thai people are relaxed and laugh a lot. As a family we had two rooms. Both rooms were very cozy and very clean. The small pool is great to cool down or relax at the end of the day. The owner did his best to make us happy and we were!...

Needed a reasonable and clean room that was child friendly and got it here. Although swimming pool is small, a quick splash in a clean pool certainly took the day's heat. Nearby all normal home amenities, cheap food, massages, etc; even not far from larger mall shopping. Again, very clean rooms. Not noisy. English owner and Thai wife try to...

I can't belive this guest house can be that well ranked in Khon Khaen, I explain myself : - every positive comment curiously seem like a small advertisement for the guest house - fairly priced for khon khaen but not very well located - quite far from the center, and when at booking you ask by mail how to get...

Owner Not helpfull when we asked for renting a scooter though we were proposing to give the deposit in euros. The room in front of the swimming pool is probably the worst of all. Though we precised previous to arrival that...

One word describes our stay here, Fantastic! We arrived after a three hour bus ride from Nong Khai in the oasis that is Mai Thai.
