pool was green hardly ever saw anyone it advertises as english speaking but no one could understand me, it was a huge ordeal every time at dinner and got super annoying. The waitress would go get another person who couldn't speak english and they would go get someone else. It says there are fitness facilities and there is none. There... More

I loved all the beautiful plant life. The resort grounds are stunning. Lovely orchids, red ginger, bird next ferns, plumeria and palm trees. Being from Sacramento Ca I wanted quiet and a peaceful surrounding. However the staff did not speak very good english. I found them to be kinda standoffish. Until I smiled and gave the thai two hand prayer... More

We visited the resort as a family of 3, my wife and our 11 year old son. The resort was spread over a very large area, with roads leading off to the bungalow style accommodation. The first we viewed was quite smelly and not nice in any way. The 2nd we viewed was totally of different design, clean, bright and... More

It's quite an isolated resort. Pls don't arrive at night bcoz the road will be in total darkness before the resort, and with several turns too. This is a list of what I've discovered; - Very polite and attentive staff except some front desk staff. - Good for getting away from busy life in town. - Mini farm at front... More

Near farmland, it was a blessing to be near locals when riding my bike rental or wanting an impromptu scooter ride to the train station (nearby, but a bit of a walk). The locals are so different from the city folk. They don't expect money for their help; the locals in the city try to get as much as they... More

Resort is located away from the core city area, so planning prior is crucial. Also the time of year is also crucial as majority of the activities when we visited were not active. Bar, restaurant and entertainment area well setup, with WiFi access in the lobby area very accessible. If you want to eat local food, or prepare your own,... More

I read lots of differing reports about this resort. But still decided to go as it was a week that was available as a timeshare transfer for Chinese New Year. I organised a transfer/ tour company to pick us up from the airport and requested a stop off at Tesco to take groceries like milk, bread, fruit, cheese, crackers water... More

Hotel has very impressive reception and lobby. Restaurant is lovely. Resort has many small wooden houses. You get “a taxi” to drive in&out from the reception. We stayed there only one night. It is enough. Shower is strange, I felt there uncomfortable. It does not have tiles just stones. Also plenty of mosquitos and we were in a dry season.... More

The Legacy River Kwai is a "resort" (for want of a better word) to be missed. It is miles from anywhere and transport, the whole place is very tired and in need of a facelift. To be fair, I went there on a last minute booking over New Year, as everything else was booked out. I now know why they... More

My girlfriend and I wanted to stay in Kanchanaburi but there were limited accommodations available because it was New Year's Eve. So, we opted to splurge and spend more on a nicer place... We were disappointed as they did not deliver. We rented a motorcycle and were able to find it with the aid of my phones gps. However, the... More
