Overall the facilities could be nice, but are rather neglected. Overall clean, besides the sheets for the bed. There is no laundry service, even though announced. The staff is friendly, but not very eager to help - no maps, no support in organizing tours or anything the like. Since the hotel is very remote, it is difficult to get organized... More

It is a nice remove place in the middle of the jungle on the river bank. It looks quite old and maintenance is poor. But the up side is the nature and the staff which was very nice and helpful. Check this place out in your gps map before you go. It is not easy to find it for the... More

what a pity, such a good potential location right above the river gorge and no one can see it, as the maintenance is non existent, no one cuts the bamboos or trees to keep the once certainly spectacular vie, other areas as well delaptidated , only savig grace are the spacious rooms and the at least for the rooms existing... We had a great experience in this hotel, but you need to know that is very very very far from everything and that in some point they are not prepared to have guests. The service is very good because they are polite and nice, but being there is like being in a ghost hotel where nobody nows you are there,... More

I don't know about others but really love cool water especially in the pool. The pool was very nice and simple. The room I had with my boyfriend was massive like it could fit 10 people in that room. Massive bathroom as well. Everything is good but a little complicated with language but went very well ! If you like... More

this has to be the most remote hotel i have ever been to, smack in the middle of a jungle, one of your reveiws states the noise of the generator. this is not true it is the Cicadas, the place is magical. and the furniture in the rooms is something to behold.the hole, experiance was something we will never forget

After spending 5 hours online looking for a retreat before our last few days in Bangkok, we landed at Mom Chailai with hopes for a peaceful, quiet nature-retreat. In short, it was not what we expected and overpriced for what we got. There are some things that are out of the hotel's control that unfortunately impact the idea of being... More

A small secluded resort, rooms are spread in the forest. The least expensive room may fit young people (third floor, no elevator, away from the parking lot), while the medium-priced one we used is fine for a vacating mature couple. Internet service is poor, breakfast is minimal. I guess it OK for a 2-star rating.
