Really chill out and also relax. I take time at here, no need anything else. There is activity in the afternoon, after that I have nice Thai dinner here then enjoy my drink at room near the river. The last is the really good in the morning. Perfect!!!!!

I stay on the raft R17 if I’m not wrong. Everything in the room are super old, blanket, towel etc. The smell in the toilet are terrible, wanna throw up every time I used basin. The toilet is broken, it’s about to fall apart, so scary. Not the accommodation, I will return for sure. The plus. Food! We had dinner at the resort (group of 5), every dishes are yummy.

I would like to share the amazing experience spending a night with this place. This resort is a raft house floating on Kwae river. It is located in Sai Yok, one of cities in Kanchanaburi. As soon as I got off the train at Nam Tok station, I could simply call the resort to come pick me up with a van commuter. The resort is approximately 3km away from the station or 10-minute ride. Once I got to the resort and entered the house, I felt warm and cozy because the house was made of woods. The dim lightning also made me feel relaxed. The overall atmosphere could be described as calm. I literally felt at peace as soon as I entered the house. Talking about what the house got inside, my house was obviously air-conditioning. I chose the house with twin beds. The house had 1 bathroom separating dry zone and wet zone. For entertainment, TV and WIFI were definitely provided. There was also fridge in case I was hungry at night. The fridge had drinks as well as snacks. However, I got to pay later if eating any. Besides those, a dressing table and a closet were typically provided as well. For other service, breakfast was also provided. There were both Thai food and international food. But, some menu should be ordered to the chefs such as omelette and hot drinks. In overall, the food tasted fine. One more thing, if you want to go to the places nearby like Sai Yok Yai waterfall, you can use motorcycle rental service. It was just 300 baht per day. I think it is quite worth for those who want to roam around the city. In my opinion, one of favorites was a veranda facing the river. I loved it as I could sit on the arm chair taking a deep breath for clean air in the morning or having a small party at night with my friend. Another one as my favorite was the natural swimming pool. It was actually a river pool that was literally immersed in Kwae river. The river was quite cold, but I was having fun with it. Anyway, the pool was safe. Don’t worry that you would be taken by the current. There is a cage barrier beneath your feet. You can actually stand on that. That’s pretty much it for this hotel’s review. Personally, this place may not be the best. But if you are looking for a place where you can live your moment by the river and be exposed to the real nature and ways of locals’ lives, I think this place will not disappoint you.

Really beautiful place with fantastisk view. Awsome to sit on the deck and listen to the Sounds of nature. Good bed and nice room. The door to our room could not lock, so that was a bit uneasy. On the other side of the river there was a generator (or something like that) making noise for hours. On the Down side, the service in the restaurant in the evening was very slow, and the staff looked like they rather be somwhere else. We had a set menu and there was not enough food, it tasted fine. There where insanely many bugs (ants and other tings flying in the air) so We had to cover food and drinks. The prices in the minibar very good (not expensive like in many other hotels). The hotel it self would have been perfect with a normal pool (i’m scared to go in the river “pool”). Breakfast was a la carte and again maybe a bit more food, but tasted good and no bugs at breakfast.
